  1. A teenager standing in the middle of a crowded pub taking a shot in the middle of the day? Sure, why not? That's nothing. This is, after all, the same show that had Rebekah use her vampire abilities to embed a pencil into Elena's shoulder from five feet away in a crowded classroom without anyone noticing.

  2. It's actually not all that hard for someone who is underage to drink in bars or clubs... I see it happen all the time. One person buys drinks, then passes it off to their underage friends. Not uncommon, and more easily done the more crowded a place gets.

  3. Oh, you're right about that. Should have remembered. I used to live in Virginia. Knew 18 year olds could serve but not dispense or bartend. Tapping a keg probably doesn't count.

  4. Fair point. To be honest, expecting a modicum of realism on this show is like expecting pigs to sprout wings... except pigs with wings is more likely.

  5. I kinda prefer it if Stefan didn't know who Elena was

  6. Elena you don't get to look disappointed the Stefan doesn't remember you, you made your decision so let him be, I am actually glad he doesn't remember her he's been through enough pain and he deserves to move on.

  7. Being an underage doesn't really have any conflict with doing drugs, drinking alcohol and having sex on this show and it's something that has always bothered me.

  8. Also a fair point. :)

  9. I have a bad feeling that now that Stefan doesn't remember Elena she's going to throw herself at him. It seems like she's not happy unless both Salvatores want her.

  10. Well I think Elena was just surprised that Stefan had to ask her name again. I wouldn't get on her just b/c she asked Damon if he told Stefan about her. Nothing for me to get worried about. And nothing for me to get mad about.

  11. It's really too bad that Stefan hasn't been keeping Vampire Diaries since the 1860s that he could read or something.

  12. Oh, I understand that. I did it once or twice back in the day myself. The problem is that TVD has emphasized that Mystic Falls is a small town where everyone knows everyone else. It was only two weeks ago when Silas told a random crowd of people in the town square to look for a girl who looks exactly like Elena Gilbert and they did because, apparently in Mystic Falls, everyone knows her. So, it's ridiculous that Elena could stand (while everyone else is sitting) in the middle of The Grill taking shots without someone noticing or saying something. But hey, that's The Vampire Diaries for you.

  13. Not to mention that Matt, still presumably under 21, unless he was held back several years we haven't been told about, served beer to the mayor in the middle of town a few episodes back. Underage aren't supposed to serve alcohol any more than they're supposed to drink it.

  14. I know what you're saying but the legal age to serve alcohol in the state of Virginia is actually 18. So, it's likely Matt wasn't breaking any laws.
