We have our first finalist, and it's the 2012 winner, Castle, aiming to repeat Supernatural's feat of making it two wins in a row.
But before Castle aims to make it two in a row, Supernatural and Charmed face a battle to meet Nathan Fillion's alter-ego in the second Semi-Final. Can Charmed continue to, ahem, charm its way into the top two? It's gonna be tough challenge, but all shall be revealed today!
For anyone who missed the rules, here they are again:
1) Two shows will go into battle in a poll, where after exactly 24 hours, the leading show will win the battle and will progress into the next round.

ReplyDeleteCharmed has been a favourite of mine since I was a child. It is the first show I remember tuning in to watch on TV every week. And then there's Supernatural which I discovered some three years ago and which I have come to love, but which has let me down with the last couple of seasons.
Well, as Supernatural is most likely going to win anyway, I'll give Charmed my vote here.

ReplyDeleteI went with Supernatural. I used to watch and love Charmed as a kid. Plus, I would catch an episode or two when I was up at like 7, 8AM but Supernatural is my favorite right now.

ReplyDeleteit means no matter how good a show is,it doesn't matter.saying this competition has nothing to do with content doesn't make any sense either.as for example,the walking dead gets gigantic numbers for live ratings and viewers whereas supernatural has has 3/4rth viewers in comparison!! we all knew who would be the two finalists for quite some time now,no matter what,don't we? so,this whole thing is basically useless.BTW,before anyone assumes,i am both fan of castle and supernatural,so nothing against them.it's just absurd that these shows go into the finals year after year when we all know there all far better shows out there like LOST,breaking bad!!
ReplyDeleteSupernatural for me. For seven years it kept me enthralled and I have never been more instantly engrossed by two characters. Since I only watch Charmed when it airs between other shows I watch, this was an easy choice for me.

ReplyDeleteI vote SPN for the single reason that, although both shows got shakey on their later seasons, SPN at least tries; that's not to say that I didn't enjoyed Charmed until the end, but... the writing was just not good.

I think it's more about fan-following than views. Supernatural may have less views, but it's fans are rabid and rarely sane, so they are the ones who will find every and all online polls/forums/blogs etc. and spam them with obsession. Walking Dead fans are more fans and less fandom.

ReplyDeleteI am not sure what I said that you are objecting to? I have already stated multiple times that I think Castle will win and it is currently winning. I was responding to a person who was implying that Supernatural was winning for reasons that I did not think were true. This contest is always about which fandom can get the word out to the most people in the shortest amount of time. Castle and Supernatural fandoms are both very well-organized and do this better than most shows' fandoms. In this case, I think Castle fans will edge out SPN's. Two years ago it would have been the opposite. Two more years down the line I expect that some other show will have the quickest rallying time. These things change a lot.
