Hi folks,

So I guess I've been away a while, for that I must apologise but sometimes these things just happen. I won't go into it, but I am sorry for the absence of our final few days of the 2013 competition. The TV season is picking up steam but we have some unfinished business to attend to, some voting to get over and done with. 6 more days in fact, a mad dash to the end and to see who will take the 2013 crown.

It begins today...

When we last met, The X-Files and Person of Interest were the final two shows to make Round Three...

Today we see one half of the third round of the competition, in four mouth watering polls. We start with HBO epic Game of Thrones taking on NBC's still-much-loved-after-all-this-time Friends. Next, we have ABC's hit medical show Grey's Anatomy taking on Joss Whedon's original success story in Buffy.

Following that we have two time winner Supernatural taking on the SpoilerTV origin show (via Dark UFO) in LOST whilst we finish with CBS's successful The Mentalist challenging Joss Whedon's less successful but much loved Firefly...

For anyone who missed the rules, here they are again:

1) Two shows will go into battle in a poll, where after exactly 24 hours, the leading show will win the battle and will progress into the next round.
2) Vote for you favourite, spread the word with your friends & fans.
3) Comment on what you voted for on in the comments below.
4) Have fun. This is a friendly & competitive competition.

    Supernatural vs Lost was so hard for me! I adore Supernatural and love the ride of it but Lost was more of an event for me and felt more significant somehow so after a lot of inner deliberation it got my vote

    My picks:
    - Game of Thrones all the way!!!
    - Grey's Anatomy! It still brings it after 10 years and when it is good, it is crazily good
    - LOST is my favorite show ever!!! No question there, even if I did like the little I saw of Supernatural
    - Firefly on the last one. I have tried to get into the mentalist but I couldn't. Firefly I never watched it all but I saw the movie and I really liked it, so Firefly.



    I think all of my three shows will loose though, which is disappointing! Maybe GOT can pull through but other than that, I am not hopeful!

    I don't understand the voting, with the exception of Buffy, all the shows I would think would win are losing in the polls. Supernatural won previous years and GOT and Firefly are amazing shows with huge fan bases.

    June, the poll has only be up for 40 mins ;) And large parts of the USA are still not online. The results/patterns won't really mean anything until at least 6-12 hrs of voting has taken place.

    I had this issue as well. My decision was LOST. Mainly because I still do re-watches of LOST regularly. Very hard to pick between those two, though.

    I voted Friends, Buffy, LOST (yes it deserves all caps) and Firefly, although I like GoT a lot too, it had to be Friends just for the classic nostalgia factor. I was never massively into that kind of fantasy though, although GoT does it very, very well.


    Really hope LOST can nudge Supernatural and win it! At the time I wrote this they were only 6 votes apart!!

    I like the head to head battles but some great shows got out so early because they were against other great shows while crap shows made it farther.


    I think it would be better if they did it in rounds like pick the top 60 shows from nominations than have a huge vote where you can pick your top 30. Then the top 30 all face off and you can only pick 15 and etc. The bottom 30 could face off too just to see what order the shows would get.
