  1. yeah...Reign even got one. That doesen't make me in any shape or form confident over a full season pickup for Originals. It actually scares me that theCW has THAT much trust in Reign, a show that looks (to me) like absolute trash

  2. If The Originals ratings are flat (or close to it) next week it'll get a full-season pick up in short order and the same goes for Tomorrow People if its ratings are similar after three episodes. As far as Reign goes, I think CW is either being needlessly proactive or overly optimistic.

  3. Yay - Reign! Super excited!!

  4. out of the three shows reign looks the worst so hard to imagine how they can order more scripts without the premere of the show.

  5. It makes no sense to order more scripts for Reign it hasnt even aired lol. It will be a flop and DOA

  7. I don't even think I'm going to give Reign a shot - it just does not look good. I think The Originals has really good potential (and I think it could be a lot better than TVD). The Tomorrow People I'm undecided about - but I'm giving it a shot.

  8. i think some people will be surprised how well Reign will do...at least initially

  9. I love The Originals and can't wait for Reign so I'm excited by this

  10. UGH, Reign.

  11. No offence but right now the cw has at least 3 shows that are flopping. Hart of Dixie had 0.4, Beauty and the beast had 0.3 and last year Carrie daires had horrible ratings last year.

If the tomorrow people and originals keeps above 0.7 they will be doing good. Reign is being heavily promoted so i think they are trying to give it a good shot. Personally I think it will flop but so will star-crossed probably.

  12. I'm happy about The Originals, bc i think that they have potential. Tomorrow People looks good too, but Reign looks bad, really bad.

  13. Reign is this year's BatB. I'm excited for it so haters gonna hate. The CW was always the place to go for guilty pleasures

  14. TO, okay it has maintained itself for two episodes in different slots, TTP ok it had a 100% retention from Arrow and if it does that each episode it should be ok. Reign I can't decide what it wants to be. A polical drama or some love triangle between two brothers (does that sound familiar or what). Why order more of a show that has not even premiered. And as far as ratings go, the time slot after TVD is a grave site. And if I recall correct an executive from WB all but admitted that the CW looses them money on a regular basis though apparently they get it back by selling the shows internationally but still, I can imagine recreating the 1540's most be expensive.

  15. Reign is a lot of think but I can assure you something, the "love triangle" and the drama is linked to the political drama. Nothing works alone.
By the way, the set is really really beautiful, it's quite a work... The only problem i really saw in the pilot is the costumes which are a little too modern sometimes for the young girls.
After, the pilot is quite ambitious and have a lot of possibilities and potential for the season.

  16. Beauty had pretty good sampling of its premier episode so obviously the haters on the net before the show had even started didn't hurt it's chances. People watched the Pilot and made up their own minds, hopefully the same happens with Reign.

  17. Reign tested the highest of all their pilots its the one the CW have the most invested in and yet its their riskiest project ever.

    ReplyDelete
  18. oh i never knew that at all, i will still watch it and hopefully for the cw its worth the risk

  19. The question how ambitious is too ambitious for a network like the CW? Unless this show stretches out all that isn't going to worth a dime. Now since you saw the pilot can you honestly say that this show can break out into a larger audience outside of the CW's typical teen fest?

  20. I think people who likes historical and/or supernatural show will be quite happy with the show... But the Reign suffers of HUGE prejudices... And frankly, it is really not fair. When I see comments like here, people who never saw the show but just promo and trailer, I really can not stand to read"the show seems like trash, bad..." Well, give it a shot a least (I'm not talking for you because you are quite respectfully).
If people try to watch the pilot by curiosity, I think they will be pleasantly surprise... Because honestly, it's not really a gossip girl like show, it's a lot more darker (death, voyeurism, rape...). So sincerely, I really do not know if the show can break out into a larger audience outside of the CW' typical teen fest... But if people give it a chance, Reign could be a really nice success. It has the potential. :-)

  21. Sounds good for Originals! Haven't seen Tomorrow People yet but will and Reign I am undecided... also it will be airing a day early in Canada.

  22. Thank you for the honest reply. And I guess I can give it a try. But because the CW is the CW after all let me give some advice, don't get too into this show. I know the cw will keep this show going if it maintains above a 0.5 but like most shows on the CW, be prepared for the worse. Because as distasteful as those comments are they are coming from a typical cw viewer. So if they are thinking like them others who don't comment online 24/7 might think that way as well.

  23. ofc it suffers from prejudices... where should l start?? its sooo inaccurate... one of the main characters, Bash or whatever didnt even exist, Henry and Diane de Poitiers never had children, Mary did stay an a nunnery but as a very young child and definitely not as young woman, at 15 Mary and Francis were already married.. oh and let's not forget Francis was a stutter, younger than her and extremely short to Mary's 1.80. Dont even get me started about the costumes.. NO NO NO this show is a pass for me thanks
