The BBC have released a new 'action' photo of the main Musketeers from the new 10 part drama due for transmission in 2014.
Written by Adrian Hodges, the series charts the fortunes of The Musketeers, an elite band of soldiers operating in 17th century Paris. D’Artagnan (Luke Pasqualino), Athos (Tom Burke), Aramis (Santiago Cabrera) and Porthos (Howard Charles) fight for what is just, and are heroes in the truest and most abiding sense - men we can trust and believe in to do the right thing, regardless of personal risk.

Can't wait for this show!
ReplyDeleteOooh, looks interesting. Hope they release some Peter Capaldi ones as well.
ReplyDeleteThat's what I'm waiting on too, I reckon he'll make a fantastic Cardinal!
ReplyDeleteNot sure how I feel about this continuously recycled crap. I know there are no "original" dramas per se because it's all been done before but at least a lot of shows attempt to put a unique spin on it. I'm just so not up for this.
ReplyDeletelooks good cant wait
ReplyDeleteI actually can't remember a single TV show about the Musketeers with the exception of one or two animated series. There a movie series but a serious TV show? Not that I know of. Which is kind of a shame, since the source is made for being a TV show and not a movie, considering that it started out as a serial and has a very episodic character.
