    whoa the hunt really is on this season i honestly didn't think they'd feature it in this much episodes but i'm glad they are and somebody has a crush on Lisbon

    That's exactly what I thought before Ray and Lisbon scene at he hospital. Now it seems just too obvious.

    I believe Lisbon is Carmen Lee. It is a reference to the opera Carmen, in which the female lead, Carmen, is swept off her feet by the dashing bullfighter Escamillo. Haffner sees himself as the bullfighter (who uses a RED cloak in the bullfighting ring) in this scenario. The Lee refers to a place of safety during a storm. Essentially, Red John (Haffner) did not harm Lisbon when he could have. Also, Haffner was whistling the Toreador (bullfighter) Song from Carmen when he exited Lisbon's hospital room.
