With another suspect down, the hunt for Red John is getting really hot. This episode was intense, with angst and plot twist as we get closer to know the identity of the serial killer.
The episode starts with Jane and Lisbon on the crime scene, where Benjamin Marx (the man from season 4 whom Jane buried alive to confess a murder) has been found dead. As FBI Agent Reede Smith approaches, I couldn't resist but looking at Lisbon's face. She's so hilarious  but at the same time cute because you can see she isn't able to put on a front all those Red John suspects!
Soon it's revealed that Benjamin Marx is one of the names from the fake list Jane made in season 5 - the same list that was stolen by Robert Kirkland, as we know it, when he broke into Jane's attic. All those names on the list are in danger.
Jane decides to ask Madeleine Hightower for help, but after some researches, he finds out she and her kids are dead. But it's Jane being Jane, so suspiciously, he contacts one Madeleine's relative and leaves a message for her into a website, created for her death.
As Jane meets Hightower at a chinese restaurant (not to mention the funny scene in which she points a gun under the table, pointed at "something important" to him), Lisbon reaches Richard Haibach (the pedophile photographer from season 4) because he's on the fake list and he needs to be protected.

Kirkland. Interesting character. I've never tought he could be Red John, even if when he first showed in season 5, he seemed to be like a possible serial killer. Anyway I've always tought he might have a hidden agenda and so we got all the answers in this episode. First he contacts Smith; he tells the two magic words Tiger, tiger, but Smith has no idea of what he's talking about. It seems that Homelad Security has been doing investigations and they have found a secret organization inside the California law enforcement, whose high members protect each others and cover their 'dirty work'.
Kirkland is determinated to find the name on the list, so he kidnaps and torture Haibach, and he wants to do the same with Jane.
Classic Jane is showing during his interrogation with Kirkland. He asks him about at least one name on the list, and Jane answers with "Turtme. First name Don." (= Don't hurt me.) That scene made me laugh.

Anyway, the most shocking revelation was the moment in which Kirkland tells Jane his brother Michael became a Red John's disciple years ago and then he was murdered by the serial killer. I feel like Kirkland and Jane are on the same page: they both have this hunger of revenge against the man who killed a member of their family. Too bad we're never going to see Bob again.

Elsewhere, Lisbon realizes Jane is somewhere in danger. Hightower contacts her and the two decide to go and search for Jane. It was funny to see Lisbon's former boss back in action in a "girl power" style - is just me or Jane often plays the damsel in disgrace to save? Anyway, Lisbon and Hightower break into Kirkland's Chateau of Torture, arrest Kirkland and save Jane and Haibach.
But Kirkland has something more to share with Jane, too bad he can't make it since he's handcuffed and headed to the prison.

Now let's talk about the final bloody scene. Smith stops the van that's bringing Kirkland to jail because he wants to talk with him. Smith tells he actually knows something about that secret organization and their "Tiger tiger" code, because he's part of it. Then he reassures Kirkland he would do anything to get him out of prison; he just has to run. And that's when the game changer takes place: Smith shoots him in the back causing him death. Then, he agrees with the van driver that the prisoner manages to escape, so nobody can't know what really happened. The man answers with "Tiger tiger" and Smith replies the same.

RIP Bob :(

Rigsby and Van Pelt are there to lighten a little bit the atmosphere. The neo happy married couple haven't consummated their marriage yet, so Rigsby revelas Cho about his issues. The Cho\Rigsby scene are always the funniest ones and I'm going to miss their interection in the future. Another hilarious scene was Grace shows up in the CBI with high heels and a beige coat, revealing she's only wearing lingerie. They start to make out in the elevator, when the cleaning man cockblockers them!

The question is still the same until episode 6.08 (in which we will finally know): who is Red John? Did Kirkland deserve to die too soon? What do you think about Reede Smith?
