    the girl they cast really does look like a young Kim Cattrall but then again it could all be makeup and lighting.

    It's been a minute since I read the book but I don't think they show up at all, it's a prequel after all but if they could tighten up a few storylines and turn down the soundtrack a little bit I think season 2 could attract some new viewers and do OK but then again it's on Fridays so maybe not. But fingers crossed.

    Samantha and Miranda are in 'summer and the city' the sequel to 'the Carrie diaries'. I don't actually watch this as I didn't like the none New York stuff. But will give s2 a try.

    The best thing this show could do would be dump all the 'home life' stuff and have it all New York based.... really start to feel like a Sex and the city prequel.

    There was a sequel? Well, now I know what I'm reading this weekend. I hope you like season 2, I stopped watching season 1 because of the lame friends and family interaction aka I only loved the NYC stuff.
