"Blacklist" Sets New Live+3 Record for Biggest Total-Viewer Increase Over Live+SD for a Broadcast Program
L+3 Results for "The Blacklist":
· The Sept. 23 premiere of "The Blacklist" has generated growth of 4.362 million viewers or 35% in "live plus three day" results versus its "live plus same day" overall audience, to 16.945 million persons from 12.583 million.
· The increase of 4.362 million is the single largest L+3 increase for any broadcast program to date, including not only series debuts and season premieres, but all additional telecasts.
· Among broadcast programs, only "Modern Family" (five telecasts) and "The Big Bang Theory" (one telecast) have ever previously increased over 4 million persons when going from L+SD to L+3. "Live plus three day" figures include time-shifted viewing within three days of a show's live telecast while "live plus same day" figures include only the time-shifted viewing that occurs the night of the live telecast through 3 a.m.
· In adults 18-49, "The Blacklist" grew from "L+SD" to "L+3" by 1.28 rating points or 33% in adults 18-49, from a 3.83 rating in L+SD to a 5.11 in L+3.
