Review:
The hilarious episode emphasizes on the gang going on a scavenger hunt. However, the teams would be chosen at random and the gang gets so competitive that it may ruin some relationships especially with Penny and Leonard. I liked this twist as it tests how the gang works with people other than their spouses. It was like this show was crossing over with The Amazing Race and Raj being like Phil Keoghan as the host for this episode. Bernadette was getting on Leonard’s nerves by yelling constantly while Sheldon irritated Penny with his antics such as starting on the edges and refusing to leave the apartment even if the clue was solved until all of the puzzle pieces are solved! Yes, this happened! Penny surprised Sheldon for solving a riddle quickly at the CalTech geology lab. Towards the end of the race, everyone is mad at Raj because he didn't tell them that the winning coins were actually in their pockets the whole time. This makes Penny mad and she tells him to run to India! After Raj runs off, it made me laugh that Sheldon claims he was the first to find the winning coin! Despite the teams were competitive, Amy and Howard bonded so much that they didn’t even finish the race! I believe that Amy and Howard were the real winners of the race!

Funniest Parts:
- Raj mentioning about solving crimes while eating dinner to the gang (Mystery dinner)! The rest of the gang’s reactions were not impressive.
- Sheldon packing a bowling ball for the hunt!
- Bernadette yelling at Leonard throughout the whole race and reminding him that Penny thinks he’s feminine.
- Despite Penny solved the clue, Sheldon went through every piece of puzzle to solve it, which caused Penny to freak out as they were running out of time.
- Amy telling Howard that Sheldon never lets her listen to music because he doesn’t want to be perceived for a gang member!
- Penny and Sheldon arriving at the comic book store but only stay a few seconds after Sheldon instantly solves it!
- Stuart being left alone in the comic book store as he is in mourn that no one purchased anything at the store.
- Leonard climbing a cable in the broken elevator area just to prove he is a man.
- The laundry room scene where Penny, Bernadette, and Leonard shutting Sheldon out about the word that Bernadette claimed that Penny referred to Leonard as a “ninny”.
- Bernadette making lies to Leonard about Penny saying negative things about him.

- Amy and Howard not caring about winning the race and singing Neil Diamond together in the car and at Karaoke! I wonder how Bernadette would feel if she saw Amy getting so close to her “Howie”! I also wonder how Sheldon would feel if he saw Howard and Amy being so close together!

Best Quote of the night:
- “Hey, Princeton, look at that. Team community college-night school is in the lead.”

Verdict: Once again, this episode was as funny as the Season 7 Premiere. Based on this episode, this show has yet to run out of gas even with it being in its 7th year. Comments are definitely welcome!

  1. You messed up the episode. They all had winning coins in their pockets, which Raj had planted in each other pocket's earlier.

  4. The funniest part - When Sheldon and Penny arrived at the Bowling alley and Sheldon prooved he was superior by packing a bowling ball.

  5. I'd say there's a reason audiences would rather watch a scavenger hunt than Vampire Diaries, and how bad Bernadette'd feel if she only saw Sheldon's girlfriend so close to her husband is not one of them.

Sheldon has a binding contract that says he's committed to Amy, Bernadette a legal one that says how committed she and Howard are. Love triangles are a no go for these characters.

  6. If I implied that it was like me writing that Amy and Howard were cheating on their spouses, I apologize. To make it more clear, Bernadette and Sheldon have the personalities that they can be jealous at times. For example, in The Stag Convergence (Season 5, Episode 22), Bernadette found out about Howard's sexual past after Raj revealed them on YouTube. In The Pulled Groin Extrapolation (Season 5, Episode 3) , Sheldon quoted to Leonard that Amy "is not for you" after Leonard accompanied her to a wedding. In other words, the episode would've been more funnier if Bernadette and Sheldon caught their lovers being to close to each other especially when Amy and Howard were singing karaoke towards the end of the episode. I'm sorry if there was any confusion. I hope this comment helps. If not, please let me know and I will more than glad to go into the specifics. Thanks for commenting on my article! :)
