    'First Born' sounds like it's about Dean but knowing the showrunners undying love for Sam it'll turn out that it was Sam who in reality was the first born son xD

    Road Trip sounds brotherly to me for some reason. Although road may be about leading somewhere, kinda sounds biblical. It sound more Sam-related, but that's because I think the secret and that will be resolved. The title almost sounds like a classic was my first impression.
    First Born definately sounds biblical, and slight concern for Dean. But it could be good!. When I look at this title I think of Crowley. First Born may not directly be about Dean but there could be some witch stuff happening.

    'First Born' makes me think of Michael as the first of the angels, and of course his vessel - i dont like it the title has a very ominous mythic sound

    Dean drives episodes - they aren't about him.


    He is the Indiana Jones of the series to quote the big bang theory's 'Raiders minimization' . He is there, there is a lot of action around him but the majority of the time you can lift him out and things could tick along exactly the same without him just a bit slower.

    Uh oh, you could be onto something there. Everyone is drawing Michael and Lucifer being sprung from their cages from those weird promo shots that came out earlier before this season and I'm a bit scared about that happening too. If you draw a parallel from Michael to Dean - both first born. Kind of freaky when you think about it.

    Road Trip sounded to me like a Garth episode because DJ Qualls was in that movie. I would hope that the writers are a bit more creative than that though. I hope it is a brotherly episode, I can never get enough of them. Hopefully they aren't fighting because I freaking hate that. But the timing is about right for them to have their annual angst crap, so you could be right about that being where the Samzekiel arc is wrapping up. First Born sounds like it could be Dean related to me. I like your theory about something witchy for that one. It could be about a curse that affects the first born family member or something.

    In 'Clap Your Hands if You Believe' Dean was abducted because he was a first born/eldest son. I just don't like the shows take on fairies at all.

    Oh yeah! I totally forgot about that haha. If they had been consistent with fairies I wouldn't really mind so much but they went from having Dean being the only one who could see them because he was abducted to everyone being able to see them in LARP and the Real girl. That bugged me.

    I think he's signed on for at least one episode. He mentioned something at VanCon about being back in Vancouver sometime in the late fall but didn't specifically say he was coming back because I don't think he's allowed to under his contract. Then he tweeted Jared about spending some time with him when he comes back to Vancouver, so the natural assumption is that at some point in the next couple of weeks he'll be shooting an episode. I haven't heard anything else about it though.

    I wouldn't be surprised if 'First Born' is plague-related, given all the angels on Earth now, with some of them being on the not-so-good side and maybe willing to try and wipe out a chunk of the human population.
