  1. I'm so excited for this one! It looks great. And yay for Charlie coming back!

And I see Crowley's back from his side-trip to New York.

  3. Aw man I hope they do us proud on this one!! I mean really you can't mess up The Wizard of Oz. You just can't. I'm so excited for this one!!!

  4. I can see the episode in a nutshell now.

    (Dorothy magically appears)
Dean - Who are you and how did you get in here?
Dorothy - I'm Dorothy and I've got a feeling I never made it back to Kansas.
Dean - Dorothy? Yeah, right. And I'm a witch.
Dorothy - Are you a good witch or a bad witch?
Dean - I'm not a witch at all.
Dorothy - Oh. Well, is that a witch?
Dean - Who, Kevin? Kevin's our prophet. Look, are you sure your not a monster?
Dorothy - I am not a monster. But I *do* believe in spooks. And lions, and tigers, and bears. Oh, My!

    (Wicked Witch appears.)
Wicked Witch - Who killed my sister in Oz? Was it you?
Dorothy - No, no. It was an accident. I didn't mean to kill anybody.
Sam - Well, according to the movie, you kinda did.
Wicked Witch - Well, my little pretty, I can cause accidents, too! (throws fireball and Dean and Sam fire their guns)

    (Wicked witch disappears)

Wicked Witch's voice - I'll get you hunter. And your mangy little brother, too!
Dean - Yeah, good luck with that.

    (Secret door cracks open)
Dorothy - There is a man behind a secret door!
Crowly - Pay no attention to the man behind the secret door, luv. I am just here minding my own business.

    (Group slams door shut)
    (Witch sneaks up behind group)
    (Dean throws water on witch)

Wicked Witch - You cursed brat! Look what you've done! I'm melting! melting!
Charlie - As Queen I must aver, I thoroughly examined her, and she's not only merely dead, she's really most sincerely dead.
ALL - Yes, let the joyous news be spread! The Wicked Old Witch at last is dead!

Dorothy - There is no place like home! So I must be getting back. Goodbye! Goodbye!
    (Somehow magically disappears)

    Meanwhile in Cas-land
Cas - Look at the circles under my eyes. I haven't slept in weeks!
Homeless dude - Why don't you try counting sheep?
Cas - That doesn't do any good, I'm afraid of them.

  5. I just don't even know... I'm having faith, but it looks a little cracky to me.

  6. Charlie being in the episode is a major plus. But since I don't care much for The Wizard of Oz, the storyline seems like it'll be a pain to get through.

  8. Something tells me there are going to be a lot of bitter Cas girls commenting here today, time to duck and cover for a while.
This episode looks good, I like the MOL bunker and like when Sam and Dean delve into that side of their heritage. Charlie is growing on me she's good for Sam and Dean in that she listens to them, cares, gives good pep talks, she's smart and she brings out a fun side of them that none of their other 'friends' do. She a lot less complicated than the rest too.

  9. Not a Charlie fan but looks like a fun ep..hopefully it will not just forget that Cas was kicked out last ep and say something about it. They do have a track record of sticking these kinds of eps in the weirdest places...go from kicking a "family" member out, to Wizard of Oz.

  10. I am too excited about this, especially because this weekend my friend is having a halloween party and a whole group of us are going as the wizard of oz characters. It'll be a theme continuation :)

  11. This episode is like offering someone cake after you just punched them in the gut....it doesn't matter how good it tastes or how sweet it is I just don't want it right now :(

  12. I guess that means no SPN for me next week. These comedy/parody/meta/crack episodes are really starting to get on my nerves. I don't want nerdy rainbows and geeky fucking unicorns, if it has to be funny then why can't it be like A Very Supernatural Christmas? The writers have proved that they can write both funny and scary in the same episode, so why this crack fiction crap again? Sorry but I just think that they could do much better than this.

  13. I trust you to tell me if there's actual progress made in this episode, I promised myself I'd stay away from meta/crack/parody episodes this season.

  15. I've read some spoilers that events from this episode will be adressed but I'm still not happy about how it looks like.
But I'll watch it so yeah, of course.

  16. What is your problem? Watch the episode, then give your opinion in a coherent way.

  17. I agree i don't like the silly ones but I still watch the episodes. Once in a while one will surprise me and be better than I think.

  18. Nice reference to Mark Sheppard appearing in White Collar :). We haven't seen the last of him on White Collar tho

  19. Is it mean or he lost his accent a lil bit on WC??

  20. My problem is that they haven't written a good comedy episode since season 5. They're too "cracky" for me. Cringeworthy even. I don't want to watch a parody of a show that used to be so great. I'd rather just watch the serious episodes because they're still well written and pretty awesome.

(Sorry about the double post by the way! It was an accident.)

  21. After last season I promised myself that I would watch the clips and read the reviews, but not watch the episodes. Maybe I'll watch them later, who knows. I'm not a huge fan of this comedy genre. I like dark humor and even physical comedy, but this cracky weird stuff just isn't for me.

  22. I don't either. Supernatural is the only show I watch that has these cracky episodes. I watch the episodes for the sake of watching. There is usually something to take away from it character or story wise, even if it may just be one scene or line.
