Happy for Amandla that she's booking work. And yay for learning more about Orlando's character!!
ReplyDeleteHmm, good choice. I like that we are going to learn more about Irving as he is the most mysterious character so far.
ReplyDeleteI agree. I think he most definitely knows more than he's letting on.
ReplyDeleteHe often reminds me of Captain Renard from Grimm because there are all these hints that he's in the know but we don't know which side he is on or what the end game is. It makes his character more fascinating than most higher ups in the police department usually are on TV.
ReplyDeleteShe play Rue on "The Hunger Games" ..........good choice.
ReplyDeleteomg Renard from Grimm is the perfect comparison!
ReplyDeleteYeah, I said as much elsewhere.
ReplyDeleteI was talking to my podcast partner when Sleepy Hollow began how similar the characters were. It was apparent when he gave Abbie that really weird look about 30 minutes into the pilot. Quite frankly I hope Sleepy Hollow takes the same track with Irving as Grimm did with Renard. We know some of Renard's secret but we don't know his true motivations or his end game. I think that by giving us some info on what Irving knows, and he definitely knows something, but keeping his motives shrouded, they will continue to make the character interesting.
ReplyDeleteIs it just me, or is the article posted here missing the words "Hunger Games"? Like I figured out that Rue + 2012 box-office juggernaut means "Hunger Games", but still. I liked her in 'Hunger Games' and I'm excited for more info on Captain Irving.
ReplyDeleteShe's amazing for Macey Irving!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see The Captain as a father!
I didn't see Hunger Games, so idk her. Yes yes, i know i know. I didn't want to see Hunger Games, it didn't really pull me in, plus i felt it was more for the book readers. So i passed. Mb i'll get around to it, but it won't be now. Anyways hope this girl can act.
ReplyDeleteStill wondering about the time Irving said he would miss the funeral because he was going up to Albany to 'secure some resources'
ReplyDeleteWhat resources? We wonders......
she better have a friendly friend Relationship with Crane, or else why bother bring her in the show.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely thrilled with this news! She's an amazing lill' actress and greatly looking forward to her being on our screens and seeing Irving as a dad. Annnddd.. her reaction to Crane too. <3
