There are many shows in which I would not attempt this poll for fear of starting flame wars instead of good discussion, but Sleepy Hollow fans seem more open to conversation here. Please comment about your favorite below and give your reasons, but please do so in a respectful manner so that everyone enjoys it. Happy voting!

  1. My favorite scene by far was Ichabod and the Northstar Lady. It was hilarious. I haven't laughed that hard in awhile. I also thought the ending scene with Abbie and Jenny was very poignant and well done. The VFX of the demon rising made that scene spectacular as well.

As for favorite character, surprisingly mine is Sheriff Corbin right now. I know, he died in the pilot but I keep hoping for more flashbacks and some answers. I find Katrina to be the most interesting with Captain Irving right behind. There are so many questions about those characters. Out of the main characters, Ichabod and his reaction to our strange ways is a favorite, although kick butt Jenny is pulling up to him fast.

  2. Ichabod stopping the sisters. They have drawn their guns on each other, and neither one will back down. It was kind of funny. My favorite character is Captain Corbin, even if he is a ghost.

  3. I particularly liked that scene because I was tired of the squabbling. 10 points to Ichabod.

  4. The on star lady was priceless.

  5. And character wise I could never vote against Clancy Brown ... loves.

  6. Same for me, except Ichabod is first, then Sheriff Corbin and Katrina are my favs.

  7. scene was easy, the Northstar lady, the character was easy as well - IC - he so far has had the lion's share of the best lines, Abbie would be second for me

  8. That first scene was beautiful and I'm so happy to see that it has most of the votes! I absolutely LOVE Ichabod's interactions with the modern world (which makes this show stand out among all the other ones that have to deal with the apocalypse and stuff like that) and I think that Tom Mison does a fantastic job at portraying it. I think because of that and his great sense of humor he's my favorite character. But I must agree with you, Dahne, that Sheriff Corbin is a very good character and I share your hope for more flashbacks. I guess that says a lot about the writing of the show when you love a character that died in the first ten minutes of the show.
Katrina and Irving are fantastic characters, ones I'm really interested in learning more about but I think I'd have to put Irving before Katrina. I honestly don't know what to think of that guy. Is he a good guy or bad? Is he in one of the covens or just an ordinary human? So intriguing!
Either way I'm so happy this show has already been renewed for a second season (good job FOX--that isn't something I say very often) and I can't wait to see what's in store!
Oh, and someone on tumblr totally called what the Blurry Man was! They used the same picture in their theory post that they did in the show! Good job!

  9. I loved the scene in the carr where Jenny tells Ichabod where she had gotten training arround the world. "If you don't fight for the things you stand for, then maybe you don't really stand for them" or something like that. "She makes a compelling argument" "Shut up". I'm writing this by memory so it might not be completely acurate.

  10. Personal favorite would be the Yolanda scene.

Favorite character(s) would be Abbie and Ichabod, because they capture that all-encompasing partnership of Game of Thrones's Jaime & Brienne and the quiet longing of The Walking Dead's Daryl & Carol with the hint of a promise they have made by themselves.

  11. LOL let me help you please...She said, 'I kinda learned long ago, that if you don't fight for the things you stand for, then you don't really stand for them." Ichabod. "Well she does have a compelling.." Abbie, " Don't."...........This was also my favorite scene,(well top 5 of the episode) so i remember it very well. haha

  12. I would have LOVED to put the Onstar one, but i went with Ichabod coming between Abbie and Jenny in the cabin. Idk just knowing that he can calm them down and have them listen to him (when they're the ones with the guns) just seemed so sexy to me. I mean he barely knows them, and yet they have his full respect. And the thought of him yelling is just a bonus. haha...but for OTHER scene..Ichabod and Abbie breaking into the cabin, and the Onstar scene of curse.

  13. my favorite scene was with Abby and the foster mother. The line "...or so help me, i will rain legal brimstone down on you so hard it will make God jealous!" was so one of my favorite lines in any TV show. i actually smiled and muttered "Damn!" this was the first time, while she's been brave until now, I've considered her a badass. Don't know why i love that line so very much:)

  14. IKR ... at first I thought he had called into a radio show or something ... when I realized it was on star I had to pause the DVR to finish laughing.

  15. I tweeted that I didn't realize Ichabod was doing Hallmark commercials and then the whole scene went sideways and I missed the whole next segment due to laughing so hard. It is times liek those that I wish I had a DVR. I would have rewound and rewatched that scene so many times.

  16. I miss the horseman. Hopefully he will be back soon.

  17. I agree that Irving is the most mysterious. He has to know more than he's saying but he's been such a politician, I can't figure out which side he is on.

  18. Ichabod does get the best lines and Tom Mison does an excellent job at delivering them. I think this is why Ichabod is by far the msot popular character.

  19. I love how Jenny smiles when Abbie shuts Ichabod down. It was a perfect sister moment.

  20. Absolutely! I kind of hope Ichabod needs more OnStar help in the future.

  21. I like how he continued to be the voice of reason and he called BOTH of them out instead of just one.

  22. That was definitely a powerful line. It changed the way I viewed Abbie a bit too. I hope Abbie gets some more excellent lines like this one.

  23. IKR!! I loved that! i laughed so hard when he told Abbie to try and make some effort to not be an easy target. lol
