  1. This episode is different because the atmosphere it created was better than any individual scene. Plus a majority of the big scenes were all talk instead of action like usual. I'm just not one for emoangsty. In the end, I loved the snappy dialogue between Ichabod and Jenny, the remote control humor, and Mr. Gillespie giving the episode a swift kick to get it back in gear. I'm giving this one to Ichabod and Jenny, but really it was the Sandman's creepiness that wins it all.

While I completely agree about energy drinks, it is a toss-up between the last 2 quotes for me. Neither seems like much on paper but the way they were delivered is golden.

  2. Scene:

Abbie and Ichabod fight the Sandman and Abbie defeats him by admitting her fear

For me I really like this scene, because I think it's a really important first step for Abbie to transition. II know some fans weren't to keen on Abbie-centric episode, but I'm glad, because I think she's an equal and then we might be able to get more character out of the actress this way! Anyways I like that we have character driven episodes.

  3. I liked the whole entering the dream world and fighting the Sandman scene. Also, the remote control fight. lol

The quotes were all funny. Love Crane's quotes. Voted for the "I'm no stranger to complications" quote.

  5. I voted for Jenny, too. I really like her alot. She's strong, she's a fighter. And I'm looking forward to alot more scenes with her.

I really like how the show is fleshing out the characters and really giving us backstory.

  6. I think Jenny was the best addition from this episode. I cannot wait to see the Mills sisters meet face-to-face.

  7. For me the problem wasn't that it was Abbie-centric or even character driven. Instead it was the anticlimactic ending. There was a decided lack of action and way too much telling not showing in a series that has been well-balanced previously. Still, I could go with it until the end fell like an anvil. Big kudos though to the Sandman, which has been the creepiest and most ambivalent foe yet.

  8. The remote control was a great little moment that added humor in a relatively stark episode. I like that they add these little touches in.

  9. He does get all the great lines! I think I'm going to do a quotes article on hiatus because their are so many gems in this show.
