So I'm casually catching up on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson (a brilliant weird little show CBS doesn't know is on the air) and now I'm watching the episode of October 9.
Sean Hayes was invited, and therefore they both mentioned that Craig will be a guest on the NBC multicamera sitcom that got a 1.1 A18-49 rating last night - because you know, broad family comedies are performing better than sophisticated "niche" comedies, like Parks & Rec (1.3 last night, biggest comedy on the network).
Craig will play Sean's former boss, with whom he used to have sex.
Other than hosting the Late Late Show, the Scottish Liza Minelli has done mostly voice work over the past 9 years : animated shows such as American Dad, Family Guy, Futurama & Archer, as well as animated films How to Train your Dragon, Winnie the Pooh & Brave.
Though he recently did a guest spot on Hot in Cleveland, as fans of the show know he's friends with Betty White. Chances are he's doing Sean Saves the World because of Tom Lennon, quite possibly Sean Hayes too.

Craig's going to be on a few new eps of Hot in Cleveland in the next season. He's already taped them. And Sean Hayes is an executive producer of HiC too. :)
