I just went to check Olympic dates and it's February 7-23, but Revolution will only have another 10 that they will being running straight...they may end up putting it back on almost at the same time as last year to make May sweeps. I think the only reason it didn't make it on time last year was because things got pre-empted due to the Boston Bombing.
Monroe is alive! (like I ever doubted) They did an "Arvin Sloane" and I should of known considering POI's hints this week! (But I would have liked a nanite resurrection better!)
According to TheFutonCritic.com episode 10 will air on 11/27/2013 and nothing after that so i'm assuming Revolution will not return till February 26 because season 2 was picked up for 22 episodes not 20 lol which would be 12 episodes remaining and it would run 12 straight weeks till may 14 2014
This is my estimate timeline bc i looked back on season 1 and episode 1-10 aired from 9/17/2012 to 11/26/2012 and then returned on 3/25/13. seems they will follow the same schedule like last yr but will return earlier. Reason is bc season 1 only had 20 episodes compared to season 2 which has 22 episodes
Wow wow wow this looks awesome. Aaron is not even my favorite aspect of the show but this looks amazing. And yay for the Rachel-Charlie hug, long time coming! I love this show! Please, people, give it another shot, it is so much better this year!
I think this is doubtful. Chicago PD is premiering on January 8, so I think NBC will have original programming Wednesdays in January.
I think it's more likely that we see something like this:
4 episodes in January (up until episode 14) 3 episodes in March, skipping the first week (up until episode 17) 4 episodes in April, with one repeat or preemption somewhere in there (up until episode 21) 1 episodes in May (up until episode 22)
The only alternative I see is that they use some filler drama like the night shift during january but I don't see them premiering another new drama the same night chicago PD debuts.
They lost half of their audience last year due to the long hiatus.I can't see them not showing a single episode in Dec or Jan.If they don't they might as well just cancel the show..They can't afford to lose any more viewers...
Maybe you don't recall, but between the first 9 episodes that sucked then the hiatus they lost a lot of viewers.I didn't say they lost all viewers,go check out the data base.In the last half season of the show it did pick up viewers because the storyline was much better.
You have to admit, the ratings this year suck, plain and simple. If they have another long hiatus they will lose more viewers to other shows.
True lol. But this season is so far kicking ass and i dnt viewers will be lost in fact when it goes on hiatus ppl will be mad bc they gonna have to wait to see the other have of the season
I prefer the two uninterrupted runs than repeats every now and then for most serialized shows like Revolution is. However, I think there is a difference between a hiatus which has a show 4 months out of the air like they did with Revolution last year and an hiatus that has a show 2 months and a half out of the air which is what I think is the best suited model.
This year they have the Olympics so it doesn't apply but I think serialized shows should do: - 11 fall episodes (ending in early December, first or second week, rather than in November) - 4 episodes in March - 5 episodes in April - 2 episodes in May
This way, the shows are out of the air by January and February only, as well as something like half of December (which all shows are anyway). Almost half of what they did with Revolution last year.
So while I like the principle of the extended hiatus, I think the execution was poor last year.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Whoa, this looks great! I'm so excited for this.
ReplyDeleteYeah this looks even better than this weeks promo - cool!
ReplyDeleteOooooo does anyone have a time machine? I need see it now!
ReplyDeleteHa, so many of us were worried that Aaron was gonna die when the S2 promo was released and now the show is pretty much about him. Me likey!
ReplyDeleteI'm just hoping they won't make a big winter break like last year!
ReplyDeleteMe tooooo!
ReplyDeleteI spy a Charlie-Rachel hug !
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see that :)
ReplyDeleteThe Olympics are coming up in 2014 so there will be a break but not like last year. Long enough tho!
ReplyDeleteLight em up Aaron!

See my answer above. While I like the two uninterrupted runs model, I doubt that can happen.
ReplyDeleteI still believe that how it will be and plus they will pair up Chicago P.D. with Revolution. Same way they paired up ironside with revolution.
ReplyDeleteThey lost half of their audience last year due to the long hiatus.I can't see them not showing a single episode in Dec or Jan.If they don't they might as well just cancel the show..They can't afford to lose any more viewers...
ReplyDeleteIf they lost viewers like you say then how come it was renewed lol?

Yeah! This makes sense. They cannot have another long hiatus 12 weeks will be a death sentence for them.
ReplyDeleteTrue lol. But this season is so far kicking ass and i dnt viewers will be lost in fact when it goes on hiatus ppl will be mad bc they gonna have to wait to see the other have of the season
ReplyDeleteYeah, the storyline is great and getting better with each episode. The problem is the numbers are low,we need them a little higher...

It might be a couple of weeks early, but I don't think it will be more than that :/
