Ward reveals to Skye that Miles sold information... I can't explain it but something about Ward telling Skye that her bf's not all that clean makes me happy...
I actually really enjoyed Ward's scenes - I think it really came across how torn he is about Skye. Loved how he semi-defended her while he thought her skills were useful, but then "off the clock" gave her the brush-off. I really think this episode showed a wider range of Ward's skills as an agent i.e. using an asset no matter your personal feelings.
It's a toss up for me between May waiting outside Miles's room (just because I was not expecting that!), and Skye's confession to Coulson at the end, because it was nice to get at least some answers. I honestly was not expecting Skye's duplicity to be discovered this early in the season, especially now that they have a full twenty-two episodes.
I really liked the episode it feels like they are really trying to give the characters more depth, I'm eager to find out more about Fitz and Simmons. Battleship was brilliant but I loved it with May standing outside the door with Skye's top. Big uh oh moment lol May seems like the obvious choice to discover what is "wrong" with Coulson but I have a feeling they will make another character discover it to add a twist.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I liked May suggesting to Coulson that they should go have a bit of a workout on the mats, just like old times....
ReplyDeleteI really hope Ward continues to have problems with Skye for a while. He doesn't seem like a guy who trusts easily and she broke his trust.
ReplyDeleteDoes Coulson have "history" with every woman in SHIELD?
ReplyDeleteCoulson/Skye scene and her motives......showing her weakness and emotions
ReplyDeleteApparently, he has hidden depths under that button-down suit....

ReplyDeleteNice call back on Coulson's lock pick from the first Iron Man. (Pepper: Oh wow what's that? Like some little device that's gonna pick the lock?")

ReplyDeleteI believe this workout was actually workout for practicing his fight moves !!
ReplyDeleteI seriously hope so.
ReplyDeletelol! Naturally, what else? ;-)
ReplyDeleteGiven my twitter exchange with Clark and Wen, they seemed to think it could lead to something else too!
ReplyDeleteI'm wondering if she already knows....
ReplyDeleteI liked the episode. I voted for Skye scene with Coulson at the end.
ReplyDeleteI was also not expecting May to be there ahah
ReplyDeleteAgree 100%!
ReplyDeleteI think the off the clock thing suggests that.
