I can't get over how great this season is so far! Last night's episode was amazing! Josh Charles was impecable! And it was really hard to vote for just one scene. I voted for the one where Peter calls Alicia and Will picks up her phone! Peter and Will's confrontation was long overdue! I also laughed my butt off with David Lee having a blast firing everyone! Poor Diane... She's the one whose career seems to be going down the drain...
All of them. I can't pick one. I've lost the ability to can.
All of these on the list, and also Will/Alicia's phone call when he tells her about Grace's school trip.
"Oh, go to hell." "No, you go!...Oh, your daughter called, she needs you to call her school to let her go on a field trip."
"Oh, when was this?" "About 40 minutes ago." "Oh. Ok, thanks." "You're welcome."
Will's memories felt like twisting a knife in my heart. I also loved Eli's reaction to Peter asking for other candidates for the judgeship - I think Eli sincerely likes Diane.
Definitely one of their best episodes with so many good scenes that it's hard to pick one! Will confronting Alicia, Alicia telling L&G that they are coming for them, David Lee for being....David Lee, etc. etc. I even liked Peter's involvement. Will telling Alicia about Grace's school trip in the middle of their heated argument was awesome and I also liked the scene with Cary and Dianne, but more because of what Cary said to her.
Least favorite parts included Peter deciding to look for another supreme justice nominee and Kalinda tricking Cary (why Kalinda??). As much as I'm enjoying the drama, it's really hard to take sides, because I like all the parties involved....I almost wish they'd go back to being one big "happy" family, but there is definitely no chance of that happening! It was a smart move on the part of the writers to break up the firm, because it gives them a lot of new material to work with....just as long as they don't go the route of "The Practice" and end up with a "spin-off" series. . .
There were far too many great ones to choose just one, but since I picked 'other', I'll have to go with Alicia's "talk, talk, talk" hand to David Lee in court. Hysterical and so well done. A/W's phone call about Grace, Kalinda's double cross (F/A, you kinda deserved it!) and Kalinda & Will's heart to heart at the end were pretty great too.
The telephone scene between Alicia and Will when after sending each other to hell, Will tells Alicia about Grace's phone call. And for a moment they forget they are enemies and their true feelings show!
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteWhen it was over
ReplyDeleteEvery line David Lee ever spoke + that heartbreaking moment while Will was walking towards Alicia's office and remembering their times together.
ReplyDeleteHow the heck am I supposed to pick ONE?!!
ReplyDelete(Alright I went with 'After learning Alicia's leaving, Will is in shock and confronts her'.)

David Lee insinuating that Alicia stole money from some of the clients over the phone :)
ReplyDeleteAlicia tells David, Diane and Will they are coming for them and all L & G's clients.
