Good episode, and tough call. If we'd actually seen Bear taking a chunk out of Kruger's ass, that'd have been my choice, but absent that, I'll go with the scene of Harold trying to keep Kruger from looking over his shoulder. Michael Emerson is a joy to watch, even if he DOES look like an Edward Lear illustration!
I thought this was a much more solid episode than the first one back. Shaw is a great addition - I love that she's even less civilized than Reese! One of my favorite moments last week was Reese feeding her steak (outside) like she was his attack dog... ;)
I liked this scene simply because of Finch's counter response to Shaw. It was a friendly reminder to put things back into perspective for Shaw, because so far, she seems to lack empathy, which I'm hoping this is what her story will be about...
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteI loved the guy trying to collect trash at Shaw's desk. This ep was an "overall" success for me. There was no scene that really stood out by itself.
ReplyDeleteI so wanted to include a good Bear scene! There were lots of nice little moments, but including Bear slows Kruger down felt like cheating!

ReplyDeleteShaw suggest that Kruger isn't worth helping.
