  3. Total guilty pleasure. :) This episode was much better than the pilot which is great. Only gripe is that I could do with much less Killian. Wendy is such fun though. Ingrid & Dash are growing on me as well.

  4. Wendy is awesome! I loved her timely return to human...just as Ingrid was explaining to Freya how their world had changed.

i'm still trying to decide which would really be more human...killing the abusive murderous ex-beau or trapping him in a painting and burying it.

  5. I'm actually happy about the 10 episodes per season. This way the show focuses on what's really important instead of wasting episodes on fillers like so many other shows with 22 episodes per season do.

  6. Totally agree about Killian. The only thing I find curious about him is that in one of Freya's dream during the pilot he said that "I waited 400 years for this". So maybe they are star-crossed lovers or something.

  7. A lot better than the pilot, better paced, less melodrama. It looks like the show is shaping up to be what many wanted it to be.

I really loved this show. It's getting much better. But it is sad that only 8 episodes left.

  9. They need to have at least 13 episodes for season two. Ten episodes is okay for Game of Thrones but seems ridiculous for this show but whatever.

  10. Great episode, Killian is so much better in the show than he is in the books, IMO. Was fun and flew by quickly, looking forward to next week.

  11. Actually, I love filler episodes. Even if they are fillers, we still can see character developments if the writers know how to pull it off. A lot of shows do that.

I can't choose between this and Sleepy Hallow for my new favorite show! This show is so amazing, every sceen left me wanting more, it has the perfect balance of everything, sex, love, family, comedy, drama, action.. All four leads bring something so special, Wendy is my favorite.. tho Freya is so bad ass... I can so so Wendy dying tho! I feel like we are on borrowed time with her, anyone else think that? I hope they keep her around for a long time. This is deffo living up to Charmeds legacy.

  13. What a great episode and show! The talk between Joanna and Wendy at the end of the episode was very touching. Wendy is still my favorite, but Joanna's starting to grow on me. She's more than a powerful witch, she's also a powerful mother. I hope Freya will soon understand it. Also, I hope we get to see how powerful Ingrid really is. I'm totally hooked. Finally a show good enough to carry the Charmed legacy.

  15. I usually like these types of shows. The magical elements, and a good premise, are big draws. I do like this show's premise and back story for the characters. Wendy is still a great, fun character to watch. I find the rest of the Beauchamp family interesting enough to want to know what happens to them. I liked how this episode showed more of why Dash still has a shot with Freya, even though Freya is always drawn to Killian.

That said, I really dislike the instant, almost animalistic, attraction between Freya and Killian. If this is a centuries old romance, or love at first sight, at least show them attracted, by staring longingly at each other. There's still a lot of campy, as well plot holes heavy, stuff like turns me off of this show. Too many to list now.

Now that I started it, I'm interested in knowing what happens to the Beauchamp family, and/if they manage to survive and get rid of their curses. I might check in once in a while, but I probably won't be watching the show regularly. Hope the rest of you guys get a great season out of this show though!
