    I felt so bad for Stefan and Bonnie. Such relief that there weren't repeat story lines and Stefan didn't turn off his emotions and Jeremy survived.


    Knew those bullies were in deep trouble when they picked on Jeremy. They have no idea what he's been training to hunt. ha


    So does the pic of Elena's Dad mean he somehow turned vamp or has an identical twin or something? What? I'm just throwing around ideas.

    Well, it was a good episode! The fun really started when Silas appeared. Paul Wesley is doing a great job. And poor Stefan, drowning over and over again. I really think that this will change him forever.

    Well i liked it a lot, and my delena heart aside, i was waiting for Caroline's "SERIOUSLY?!" Hahaha, when she said that i just laughed. And man I don't like Bonnie, I got over her a long time ago, but geez!! That girl can't catch a break, I felt really bad for her at the end. But when Silas compelled the ENTIRE town (or half of it) i thought that was great!! I mean i didn't think it would be like that. I thought it would be like 5 maybe 10 at the same time. And I was wrong about Silas he actually let himself be known right away, i knew he would but not THAT quickly, geez Kyler held out longer than that. Anyway moving on, Katherine. Her fear is still getting the better of her. I want Jeremy to kick her ass!! She's as careless as a human as she was as a vampire. Lol She's definitely about to get what's been coming to her for a longggg time. Caroline and Elena it was really nice seeing them sooo happy! Especially Elena (totally thanking Damon for that). She was in a good place and it was great to see her/them bonding and smiling once again. As for Forwood, i mean really, like we didn't see that coming. Smh...Matty Blue eyes!! You go!!! Getting his inner bad boy on!! And wth did that witch do to you??? Seems like Matt will have something going for him sooner rather than later. Nadia, heavy sigh, is it wrong that i dislike her already? Although i am glad she gave Matt the ring back. Once she did that, i knew something was going to happen. Actually when i saw her back in MF i knew something was going to happen. And with Stefan and Elena dreaming about one another...total book reference, i knew it. I just hope they don't make it as boringggg as it was in the books. The one thing I can't figure out with Jeremy, ok he's back to being a hunter. YET, he can take down what 3 hs boys but could nearly survive a car crash?? Now we all know he's supernatural, which means he SHOULD be a little more stronger than that, Connor sure as hell was. i don't see why Jeremy isn't. And i don't believe age has anything to do with it. Ok Connor killed more vamps, but Jeremy is still a hunter nontheless. Speaking of Jeremy, i LOVED that scene with him and Damon...it was so cute. I've always liked their relationship. I can't wait to see more of it! Next week, the search for Stefan continues....happy sigh....season 5 looking good already. So glad the wait is over!

    I didn't really like the college stuff. I see how they're adding a mystery to it, but the whole college thing didn't work for me.



    I do like the Silas stuff, and how Damon still has a softspot for Katherine. And now we're getting more Bonnie than we did while she was alive.

    I very much enjoyed the scenes that weren't Whitmore College (ie, all scenes that included Silas, Damon, Jeremy, Bonnie, or Stefan). I knew it would take time to warm up to the whole "moving on to college" vibe so I'm going to let that stuff go and say: overall I enjoyed the episode.

    It was a good premiere. I have a feeling that Elena's Dad either had another family and that is/was her sister or her parents are still alive. Should be interesting in how it will play out. Katherine being back in the picture as human does not seem that interesting to me and of course they have to throw in that Silas wants her so now even as a damn human the Salvatore brothers have to protect her ass. I am guessing that Silas needs Katherine as some sort of sacrifice now so he can do whatever his original plan was to begin with. Jeremy getting expelled on his first day back, they should just Jeremy be and let him fulfill his destiny. Also Jeremy dying AGAIN, please do not have another storyline like Alaric where now Jeremy goes all evil cause he keeps dying. Matt and Rebekah I could have done without until that girl came back and did something to him. Should be interesting to see he Matt will still be human or if he will be compelled to be evil or something. Over all it was good. Seems like it will be a good season. Also Caroline and Tyler I hate to say this but I am sensing they will not make it as a couple.

    Excellent premiere! The ending was a good set - up with a surprise finish. Silas kidnaps the town, Caroline and Elena already having dorm room drama (college, OH the good old days)............can't wait to see this all play out. BECAUSE DIARIES ARE 4 READING, I am Nobody!!!

    I was so happy we get damon have a moment with Elena. And when she goes it was so cute that look like holy crap I am happy lol. The doppelgänger Stefan I don't get how the hell can Stefan be one and dose that have anything so to do with Elena doppelgänger I would think so but you never know right. I really hope we see Stefan get out soon I feel bad for him and I kinda wanted to know what he was going to so without Elena. And dare I say be with Carolina there was kinda of a hint that maybe she be free soon kinda liking that.

    I think Elena's attitude was actually a lot better than Caroline's this
    episode. I spent pretty much all of Season 4 disliking Elena but she was
    actually okay in this episode. Caroline just needed to chill out a
    little bit and try to have a good time. Tyler may have zero interest in
    college - his family is all dead and he's a vampire so what's he going
    to do with a college degree? I think it makes sense that he'd want to
    join a pack of werewolves instead.


    I was really hoping Silas would pretend to be Stefan for a while.


    I am a bit intrigued by the Nadia/Matt story-line and the Silas/Katherine story-line.

    The first half was boring to me, did not like any of the college stuff and all the sex at the first added nothing. Paul did a super job as Silas, I have never been a fan of Bonnie, but I did feel for her when her dad was killed...Supernatural's Alpha Vamp. lol

    One major thing about the college that was off - the dorm was way too big. lol Mine wasn't a quarter that size when I lived in one for my 1st year of college and I had a roommate. I also stayed one summer in a dorm meant for two that had only a few feet of walking space. I was so glad I was alone for that one - would have had to bunk.

    Overall, I liked the episode. But a new roommate, who knows about vamps, and then is killed, her death is covered up and she knows Elena's dad, seemed a little rushed in her ten minutes or so of screen time.

    My only question is where the hell is Klaus's Shadow???


    Silas shadow is Stefan since he's immortal and Klaus is immortal as well so why didn't nature create a shadow version of him??

    Stefan is just a shadow version of Silas as he explained that he's immortal and due to the lack of balance in nature it decided to create a shadow of Silas that can be killed and restore balance in nature.


    Assuming how Katherine helped Silas be resurrected tells me she must have something he's looking for.


    My other Question is where is Klaus's shadow since his a immortal too or does that only apply to those whose is half witch and vampire lol

    Katherine did resurrect Silas by having him drain Jeremy and i'm assuming he doesn't wanna kill her but wants something she may have that belongs to him. I think they looking for Rebekah seeing as that witch guy was fishing around in his head and yes black eyes usually means evil but not all the time you know lol




    The things i find funny is Elena seems to be a spoke person for HTC and Samsung as she seemed to have Galaxy S4 last season and HTC this season lol another thing i find funny is the fact she got Klaus in her contact list along with Rebekah

    Silas is original and Stefan is a shadow of his original self and yes they can be different from each other.

    Reason why balance was so off was because Silas was once a witch before having his lover katisa also a witch cast a spell making him a vampire/witch making him immortal and powerful.

    Klaus and the original familes were also turned by their mother who was also a witch

    Silas used a modification of the spell, as it seems (since he can't be killed. Although nothing is really immortal.). That is why nature created a doppelganger.
    Klaus is not really immortal. Not like Silas. Klaus may not be affected by the daggers or the sun, like his siblings, but he can be killed with the white oak stake. The reason they don't kill him is, that all MF vamps would die with him, cause he created their line. But if they wanted, they could kill him.

    Little late, but I loved this episode. It´s a new start for all characters. I´m Delena fan so I enjoyed their happiness. But Delena aside, it was good to see change of scenery and new character. Don´t know what to think about them yet, but they´ll get more screen time, so we´ll see. What I really liked were scenes with Damon and Jeremy, I love them together, hope they will put the past aside. I´m curious what´s up with Matt, except he was teleported to Supernatural for awhile. Human Katherine was also fun to watch and it looks like it will in next episode too. Also don´t know if I like or hate Silas, have to wait for next episode. Well, that´s probably all I wanted to say :D
