  1. I loved it! Human!Cas is amazing and A+ to him finally having some sex (loved the boys' reaction to it, too).

Damn you, Ezekiel, for making him kick Cas out! That was rude.

The transition between Sam and Ezekiel is awesome. A+ acting, Jared.

    Great episode!

  2. Dean's reaction was beyond priceless at the end xD

    -You had protection?
    -I had my angel blade

    xD I'm dying right now

    ReplyDelete
  3. LOL, I am now expecting Sam and Dean to give him a safe sex talk the next time he's around.

    ReplyDelete
  4. I loved Castiel human!! I felt soo bad for him. He was so vulnerable, in the most adorable way and confused. "What sheep?" Aww haha.....and i knew that bitch was an Angel! Glad she's dead. Omg!! The ending broke my heart, giving Dean an ultimatum, NOT cool!!! I was so happy when they found Castiel!! I said finally he can be safe, and sheltered with the two men that love him most. Then all of a sudden BAM! "You can't stay" Zeke that's messed up!! The look on Cas' face. smh Sigh....I really hope Dean can somehow explain it to him. On a lighter note, I LOVED Sam and Dean's reaction when Cas told he had sex. They were so happy for him, like their baby just took his first steps. lol it was great. Favorite moment of the night...."look at these chemicals, do you even read the label?" . " No. I read pie. The rest is just blah blah blah." Lmfao!!

    ReplyDelete
  5. I need to see that talk xD

    ReplyDelete
  6. Damn good episode. Another solid effort, building on the previous two.

Every time I used the Angel Blade line, I got tossed out.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Well, I liked that much better than I thought I would.
What is up w/Zeke? I really wanted him to be a good guy but I just don't know. It was super shady, IMO, how he just demanded that Cas leave and then threatened to vacate Sam's body if Cas didn't go. I just wanted to know WHY Cas couldn't stay. He was very vague on that point, and Dean didn't push him. So, I'm very suspicious.

I left the episode feeling really bad for Cas. He was so happy to have reunited w/Sam and Dean and found a home after leaving on the streets and just barely surviving. I wish we knew what Dean told Cas to get him to leave and how Cas handled I.

Jared is ROCKING the switching btw Sam and Zeke. He had to do that several times tonight, and it was flawless! Really great work!
I also noticed that tonight was the first time Sam voiced some confusion about missing time. I wonder if that is going to come into play more. In the beginning, we see that Sam lost no time so I was thinking Zeke was wiping the time, but Sam is starting to notice things. This should be interesting. I hope they play up the confusion more!

I guess next week is a comedy.

  8. Hopefully someone writes the fic because I need it;. You know Sam's going to want him to be safe and not get diseases or knock anyone up!

    ReplyDelete
  9. Wasn't she a reaper though?

    ReplyDelete
  10. That will be hilarious!!!

    ReplyDelete
  11. Yeah she was a reaper sent by the angels to find Cas since they couldn't.

    ReplyDelete
  12. ^^;; if someone write that fic it's gonna be only with Dean and Cass with full-on slash, don't think Sam will be in it at all

    ReplyDelete
  13. Yeah . . . that's what I thought!

    ReplyDelete
  14. Not all fanfic writers are slashers. I write fanfics but it's all family, friendship, and occasional OC romances. Very mixed lot. Some hunt fics, some episode fics (what goes on in a character's mind, extra scenes). I write a lot with Dean or Cas as a main character, but I've wrote Sam too. And Gabriel, Jo, and Michael.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Another solid ep, three in a row..amazing. Now I am really wondering if Zeke is going to be good, I just think he does not want Cas around because he will tell Sam he is possessed.

But loved human Cas, but him using Clarence made me so sad..Meg and Cas were so good together..her little Tree Topper. :(

I am thinking my favorite scene will be the sex talk..Cas, Sam & Dean..will watch again tomorrow to process it more. Jensen had a perfect reaction, he is so good with the comedy stuff.

Oh the moment at the first when Zeke came back, Jared is awesome and some excellent editing.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Yeah!! She was!! My bad...she was still a bitch. lmao

    ReplyDelete
  17. There, i fixed it. lol

    ReplyDelete
  18. To be honest, from the promo and the spoilers, I really wasn't expecting to enjoy this episode as much as I did. Loved the dialogue. SPN has some great one liners and the actors always have the best facial expressions. I am really enjoying watching Jared play both Sam and Zeke because Sam seems to have more personality in his facial expressions than last season (but that is also probably because Sam was really sick).

Favorite Scene: Sam and Cas waking up and Dean trying to explain everything. Cas - "You lied." Dean - "I did. I do that."

    ReplyDelete
  19. She was most definitely a bitch! Haha :-)

    ReplyDelete
  20. oh I know, I wrote fics myself, but a fic with Dean and Cass talking sex, kind of a subject slashers will jump on. Even if I know there was some making threaths cause Dean wasn't Cass' girlfriend of the episode and some said they wouldn't watch the episode^^;. Betting they will be upset too that the episode broke their ''''canon'''' that Dean and Cass had sex multiple time, wonder if they'll scream Jeremy broke the canon

    ReplyDelete
  21. Ha, yeah. I'm sure there will be.

    ReplyDelete
  22. CAS HAD SEX YES! and Zeke told Dean to kick out Cas WOW sorry Dean your the one that messed it up now you got to pay sad but true. I wish Dean would have told Cas the truth and the he will understand but be pissed that Zeke is in Sam's body but and I like that Zeke saves Cas that was cool but there is something up with Zeke cant wait to see what happen next with that.

    ReplyDelete
  23. I loved how Cas was all bragging about sleeping with her despite the fact that she KILLED him. He must really enjoy sex! LOL

    ReplyDelete
  24. I'm no Cas fan ... but fast forwarding through his part of the storyline made it bearable. I did come away feeling pretty bad for him by the end. He thinks he's home free then Dean's all, "Hey, you gotta pack your shit and go. Have fun dodging everyone who wants to kill you."

    ReplyDelete
  25. I love human Cas! I like the Sam/Zeke switch ups, Jared is doing a great job!

While I am not crazy about all the lying Dean is doing, I felt so bad for him at the end telling Cas he couldn't stay.I kinda feel he should have put up more of a fight over that. Also, after that last scene between Dean and Zeke I hot a bad feeling...

    ReplyDelete
  26. I'm considering skipping next week's. I hate Charlie and hate when people mess with the Wizard of Oz.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I thought it was kind of telling that Jared tweeted about wanting to know why Zeke was giving Dean an ultimatum. Jared tends to give away more than he should in interviews and cons so was that a little slip he let out there or what?

    ReplyDelete
  28. I wonder if Cas can bring problems for Ezekiel and Zeke knows if he stays Zeke will have to leave and Sam will die. I felt for Dean and Cas in that moment.

    ReplyDelete
  29. All the awards to Jared, please. He was amazing in this episode with switching back and forth between Sam and Ezekiel. Cas was pretty badass too considering he's only been human for a little bit over a week or so and he still figured out how to defend himself and get himself warded against angels. Plus I just found it so amusing that even though April killed him he still found sex so enjoyable that he was bragging about it to Sam and Dean. Hilarious.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Haha! Yeah . . . . That was pretty cold! That's why I felt bad for Cas. He was so happy to have found shelter, food, a home, and it was all ripped away from him!

    ReplyDelete
  31. What was his tweet exactly?

    ReplyDelete
  32. I think Zeke was a pretty highly ranking angel in the "new order" who flew the coop when things started going militant.

If he's found he'll be treated as a traitor.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I'm not a huge Charlie fan either, but I will say she was a little redeemed for me in her last episode last season. I hope that trend continues next week.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I know, that was a bit brutal. He's all enjoying his burrito, basking in the afterglow of losing his virginity and then BAM he's tossed out on his ass.

    ReplyDelete
  35. He did enjoy it! He wanted to go for a second round! Haha!

    ReplyDelete
  36. I see the downvotes started already. Not surprised.

My hatred of Felicia Day also contributes to my hatred of Charlie, though. I really can't stand either one.

    ReplyDelete
  37. I feel the same way about her. If they tone down the "OMG I'm a geek/gamer girl" persona a little bit she's not that bad. We need to see her personality more and not just a string of geek/nerd culture references. And next week's episode does look pretty cool.

    ReplyDelete
  38. That's a good theory. He was definitely worried about angels finding him. I want him to be good, but you just can't trust angels on Supernatural. Almost all of them are up to no good and behave no differently than demons!

    ReplyDelete
  39. Yep! And then he even said, "Yeah, I enjoy our talks" and was then promptly booted off the island! Poor Cas!

    ReplyDelete
  40. @jarpad Ezekiel?!?! Why the ultimatum?!!!
    #supernatural

    ReplyDelete
  41. Lol. Mann, people sure didn't like my comment, lol.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Agreed!
Maybe, that's why she worked better for me in that episode. She wasn't as annoying as she's usually presented. I just remember thinking, "That's the best Charlie episode I've seen."

    ReplyDelete
  43. Sam and Dean's reactions to him bragging about it was hilarious too. The looks on their faces was like a mixture between horror at him oversharing and "Attaboy, Cas!" Hahaha. Such a cute moment.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Ahhh . . . I only know FD from this show, but I can understand your POV. I don't care for Zooey Deschanel's schtick, which she does in everything, so I tend to not like the characters she plays!

    ReplyDelete
  45. I can't stand her either. I'm just a hater. lol

    ReplyDelete
  46. It was a cute moment :-)

    ReplyDelete
  47. Well if the angels picked up any chatter about him helping the Winchesters and Cas, then yeah he'd definitely be in some deep shit I think. It makes sense for him to worry about the angels finding out about the location of the bunker through Castiel. I said it before that it doesn't serve anyone any good for the three (four now with Ezekiel) of them all being in the same location because the angels know to look for Cas with the Winchesters and vice versa. It would be akin to walking around with a flashing neon sign that says "Hey, come and get us!" People might not like the fact that Cas got thrown out of the bunker and I do feel bad for him but it does make sense from a storyline standpoint for them to separate for now.

    ReplyDelete
  48. I'm w/you. I've never seen an interview w/Zooey D, so I don't know if she's just playing herself on tv and in movies, but I really cannot stand her "routine."
"Oh, I'm so quirky. I'm so offbeat. Don't you just love me?"
NO. I cannot stand you. Haha! She literally, IMO of course, plays the same character in everything! Her whole "thing" annoys me! Haha!

    ReplyDelete
  49. The look on Dean's face reminded me of the time he was so proud of Sam when he stole his first car. It was adorable.

    ReplyDelete
  50. I'm blanking . . . . when was that?

    ReplyDelete
  51. Jared and his twitter! Did he live tweet again?
The ultimatum and threat is what's having me questions Zeke's motives and intentions. Plus, he was very shady and vague about why Cas needed to leave. It wasn't very clear to me. And he didn't answer Dean's questions about why he was in danger if the angels came. He's hiding in Sam. I don't think the other angels can automatically sense him, right?

    ReplyDelete
  52. Ugh I can't stand Zooey D either. She literally plays the same person in EVERYTHING. But Felicia has proven in the past that she can play more than the nerd/gamer persona. I don't know if you've ever seen Dollhouse but she was actually really good on that show. She played kind of a resistance fighter in it and she really impressed me. It was only a 2 episode arc but it showed me a different side to her. So if the writers toned down Charlie's geek girl persona I would be able to tolerate her a lot more since I know Felicia is capable of pulling off more than just her gamer girl schtick.

    ReplyDelete
  53. I'm really torn, because I love seeing so much Castiel, and the acting was great as always. But the dialogue in general was just so sub-par, and the treatment of April as a character was gross, and havoc continues to be wreaked with canon as it pertains to reapers. I just really dislike Buckner and Ross-Lemming as writers, and I wish anyone else had written the episode. So I voted OK.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Yes and no? In order to find Cas, Dean was willing to have Sam go away and not be himself. Since I find Zeke taking over a huge violation, I'm not thrilled that Dean is willing to sacrifice Sam's physical autonomy for any reason. Sam would probably have agreed to let Zeke out to find Cas, but Dean made the decision for Sam without his saying yes. Dean has gone from getting Zeke in to save Sam and wanting him to lay low, to seeing Zeke come out and ask him to not make Sam suspicious, to asking Zeke to come out because he needs him to do something. It's a fine line and he did do it to help Cas. He chose Sam in the end, but what he did to Sam in order to find Cas makes me feel icky.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Loved the ep and Castiel's adventures in humanity and experiencing the fleshy goodness for once was awesome! The only thing that I'm a bit fuzzy on was the reapers as I thought that they could not be seen unless you were near death or they wanted you to (at least to humans anyway), but it's been awhile since I've watched any of the reaper eps and am fuzzy on their mythology..... sucks that Zeke was insisting that Cas be kicked out of the bunker (and I'm not totally clear why still as I thought that even though Cas's warding shield might not be effective since he died once, but I thought that the bunker itself was warded as well....)

    ReplyDelete
  56. Yes, Jared and Misha were live tweeting together in Jared's trailer I think. It was pretty funny because they were smack talking the hell out of one another the entire time. lol Osric joined in as well but I think he live tweets every week anyway.

I don't know if he just said that to troll us or leave Zeke's motives ambiguous or what. I think the reason why Zeke wanted Cas to leave is kind of obvious. He's Heaven's Most Wanted right now and they can't afford for the angels to find out the location of the bunker by having Castiel around. Zeke isn't going to be a popular guy just for the sole fact that he's helping the Winchesters, plus we really don't know what his status is among the fallen either. He could have other angels after him too for all we know.

It was kind of mean to throw Cas out but I think it was necessary on all ends. Angels know to look for Cas with the Winchesters and vice versa. Splitting up is the smartest thing for them to do but it really sucks for Cas because he has nowhere permanent to go. I at least hope that Dean hooks him up with a few bucks before he shows him the door so he can find himself somewhere to stay.

    ReplyDelete
  57. To me, it sounded like he wasn't warded from reapers. And Bart was using reapers to come after Cas - so a reaper could theoretically track Cas and report his location to Bart. As far as the bunker being warded, since you can die inside the bunker, it isn't warded against reapers. And Zeke is allowed in the bunker, so it can't be warded against angels.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Yeah, that makes sense. Bartholomew seems to have figured out the way to find Cas is have rogue reapers track him and the way the first reaper was to track Cas was told to track the Winchesters. I think maybe the anti angel tattoos don't deter reapers and while Cas may be safe-ish as long as stays in the bunker, Zeke may be worried that sooner or later the reapers will track the Winchesters back to the Bunker, find Cas and find Zeke. Yes, its cruel but the Winchesters need to send Cas away... well Dean sent Cas away and I think SAM will understand the underlying logic (Of course Zeke said that Cas had to leave but Dean can't tell Sam that.)
I'm not ready to look for any deception on Zeke's part yet because he did surface to tell Dean the angels were hunting for Cas and *I think* if Zeke was not who he says is - for now - he might want get rid of Cas instead of healing him at great physical cost to himself.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Considering their bad history, this was great.

    ReplyDelete
  60. I wasn't all that crazy about Dean doing that either. I was under the impression from some interview that Jensen gave that he wasn't cool with Zeke just showing up unannounced and then in this episode he's actually prompting him to take over Sam. That's just adding even more violation to Sam than he already did by allowing Zeke to impersonate him in order to get him to say yes. I also wasn't crazy about the fact that him lying to Sam and Cas about how Cas was brought back to life was played for laughs. It doesn't paint Dean in a very good light at all, IMO.

    ReplyDelete
  61. The episode where Sam takes off to find John and he first runs into Meg. Scarecrow? Yes...it was Scarecrow. Sam ends up stealing a car to get back to the town where Dean was and Dean asked him how he got back there and when Sam told him he was all like "That's my boy!" It was cute.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Oh, I'm going to have to check out their twitter accnts tomorrow!
Yes, I think Zeke may be worried about other angels tracking Cas but he made it clear that he was concerned about the angels finding him, and then when Dean asked who he was worried would find him, he evaded the question. It just played out in a super shady way to me. It got me very suspicious!

    ReplyDelete
  63. Right. He clearly isn't against Castiel or else he would have let him stay dead. So I think the fandom freakout about him having ulterior motives is a bit premature for now. I still don't trust him 100% just for the fact that he's an angel and I don't trust any of them but I also don't think he has it out for Cas personally either.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Well that is probably done on purpose. The less we know about Zeke the more inclined viewers are to tune in because we want to figure out the mystery surrounding his motives. Like I said upthread, if he really had it out for Castiel he wouldn't have brought him back from the dead in the first place, so we at least know he doesn't have anything personal against him.

    ReplyDelete
  65. They have warding for everything in the show. There's got to be something that hides you from reapers. Bobby used a spell to temporarily trap his reaper and Alistair also trapped a couple.

Bet it could be done. But then we;d have no story.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Awesome episode!!!LOVED.LOVED IT!!!But it depressed me very much :'( Poor Cas...It hurt me to see him cold and hungry, wandering around in the streets and then getting manipulated and killed. And when we said yay he went to the bunker where he will have a warm home, safety and friends he gets kicked out.I am grateful Ezekiel healed him but there's something off.Why is Zeke so afraid of the other Angels??I think he is running from them. He's scared and residing in Sam is his hideout.I don't think Cas was his problem rather than the Angels that are after Cas.If he wanted Cas out of the way he would have simply let him be dead.I really love Jared's portrayal of Zeke. The way he goes from Sam to Zeke and vice verca in 1 sec is mind blowing!!Oh and I have to comment on the fact that CAS GOT A TATTOO!!!That made me so happy :P I don't know why!!Shouldn't he get one for the demon possession too??Also,I literally cried buckets when Dean held Cas's face when he was "gone"...His trembling voice and pained expression KILLED ME.Ugh.This episode was so good but hurt so much :'( Season 9 keeps getting better and better and I truly believe it's gonna be the best season yet!!!Can't wait for the next episodes!!

    ReplyDelete
  67. Cas is not Dean's brother. And that's a good thing, to be honest, because I prefer them as complicated friends. I also would say that adopted brothers are "real" too.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Pretty solid episode! I thought that they balanced the episode pretty well, which may have kept rabid "too much Cas" fans from flying to Vancouver and storming the set. Jared seriously deserves an A+ for this one - his transitions are pretty seamless, and I bet he's having a great time playing both characters. I absolutely loved the chat between Cas and the lady in the church about faith - it was really poignant, and gave him something to think about. And his face when Dean told him he couldn't stay at the bunker broke my heart. But I'm excited to see how their journeys split from here before they eventually all find themselves back together.

    ReplyDelete
  69. I was trying to figure out what Cas was "basking" about. She tortured him and killed him. No sex is that good.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Alright episode, but lived up to the reputation of the past seasons of starting off the season strong with 2 good episodes, then faltering after that. Had some great humor moments, particularly with Cas blurting out that he had "safe" sex since he had his angel blade. Still, the whole Ezekiel thing is annoying and kind of counter to what we've known before with angels taking over a vessel, and him kicking Cas out is purely because the writers wanted to do some more "angst" that they can't seem to get enough of and is beyond annoying at this point.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Not really sure what to say.

My favorite parts were Dean showing his concern for Cas, breaking down, and going so far (even torturing, which just further convinces me he's heading toward a dark breakdown) to try to save Cas. I never doubted he'd choose Sam's life over Cas, but I'm glad this was written in a way where he was clearly emotional about Cas. I'm also glad we didn't have to see the last scene, because he probably would have said anything, including hurtful things, to get Cas to go.

Not thrilled with the writing for Cas, specifically, that Cas had no reaction to someone manipulating him into sex and then killing him. It's not just a wacky part of humanity and I don't think he'd see it as such. I also don't think he would have no idea what a condom is.

Ezekiel is clearly full of hidden agendas.

I want to see Naomi more than that sleazy Benjamin.

April - yet another dead female character. I'm sorry that was the best they could do for her. I hope the actress doesn't get Twitter hate from idiots.

    ReplyDelete
  72. I have a feeling that if Bartholomew is "BadNaomi's protégé" and Zeke told Dean he believed in Cas's mission - and Dean -Zeke may be a leader of an opposing faction (or a high ranking angel in the opposing camp) and you're right, if Bart's crew take control Zeke and other angels who may have supported Castiel (like Samandriel and S7's Inias) would be hunted down as traitors if they don't have sufficient numbers. Thing is, Zeke seemed like a 'pacifist' in the premiere so they may be a faction that doesn't believe in violence unless necessary. Zeke didn't surface and kill the Reaper, he surfaced to heal Cas. The question down the road is - where does Malachi fit in (9.09)?

    ReplyDelete
  73. Ahhh . . . I remember now! That was a good scene!

    ReplyDelete
  74. I tried to watch "Dollhouse" but just couldn't get into it. I saw her in a movie about werewolves though, and I liked her fine. As you said, they just need to tone her down some. Oddly, she felt more real to me in that episode w/her mother than in any of her previous appearances. I hope that feeling I had carries over to next week's episode.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels Zooey D does the same thing in every movie/role she gets! She's always the same quirky, offbeat (very annoying . . . at least to us - haha) character!

    ReplyDelete
  75. Yeah, since when do Reapers need vessels? S2 canon (IMTOD) says Reapers are like spirits and only take human form when they need to. But it's Buckner and Ross-Lemming "Canon, Canon, don't need no stinking Canon.>_>. There were cool non Cas/Dean/Sam/Ezekiel parts though... like the gal that exploded because she wasn't angel vessel material; that re-establishes that not all humans are angel vessel compatible and some vessels are naturally stronger than others (Hael in her deteriorating vessel wanting to possess Cas).

    ReplyDelete
  76. If you look at it from a character development standpoint, kicking Cas out of the bunker is the best thing for him. Having the Winchesters as a crutch will just stunt his growth as a human. I think Cas will be fine. Yeah it sucks that he was kicked out on his ass but it gives him more room to develop in the long run.

    ReplyDelete
  77. That's a fair point. I hope Cas story as a human remains interesting, because I would hate if it's just used for funny joke after funny joke that are about the same each time.

    ReplyDelete
  78. There was a lot if favorite in this episode cass talking to that women in the church about faith. When dean had to explain the cass and Sam what happen when Sam was Ezekiel. Cass telling the boys that he had sex.

    ReplyDelete
  79. Just had me a mini-marathon of the first three episodes and I have to say that this season has started off waaay better than that hideous season eight.

I can finally recognise my favourite brothers again in their roles of big brother Dean and little brother Sammy!

I'm loving the interaction betweent the Winchesters and I could really feel the depths of Dean's indecision as he was torn between letting Sam die or giving in to his absolute need of having his brother by his side and so allowing an unknown being to possess him without his consent.
I can see it causing trouble when Sam finds out though!
    X
I really enjoyed Soulless Sam in season six and so I'm also enjoying Sam/Ezekiel because not only do we get Sam's double reactions but we get to see how Dean reacts differently to whichever of the two personalities is dominant at the time ,and as we've seen in this latest episode, it can get him into trouble as he tries to keep from confusing his conversations with them both.

    X
I couldn't care less about the rest of the Angel/Heaven plot. I'm only interested in the brothers' journey, but if I only get twenty minutes of a good Winchester story-line in each episode, then that's good enough for me.

    ReplyDelete
  80. Too many thoughts about this episode, don't know where to start.

-April: "What happen next for you?" Cas" More of this I hope." What happened to the innocent little Cas? since when he's this flirty and playful? They really are trying to make him 2014 orgy Cas isn't it?

-Dean was so upset when Cas is dead, but really, the thought of Cas might die didn't came across him when he pull that blade from Cas =_= ? Don't you think that will kill him faster? btw not nearly enough blood on Cas for a person who's been stabbed in the stomach and pulled a blade from.

-Pretty worry about Season 9, to this point we still don't know what this season's storyline is. every show needs to have a clear storyline so people can follow, like S1 finding their dad, S8 closing gates of hell etc. This year there are a lot of things happened, but none of them is sophisticated enough to be the storyline, reversing Metatron's spell? Killing all Demons on earth? these are just bits and pieces, no necessary steps they need to take like the demon trials. this is not looking good. last time the show hasn't have a clear storyline is season 6, and we both know how it turns out.
    - At least Dean can send Cas to a friend to take care of him right? a fellow hunter, tracy from last episode maybe? they saved her life, she owes them one. But probably Cas would try to bang her too.

-I know she's a reaper and supernatural, she doesn't mind one night stand, but that doesn't change the fact that Cas HASN'T take a shower yet. That is just dirty, literally.

-Zeke is up to no good, discussion over. I am surprised Dean hasn't seen it by now, this kind of threats would not come from a good person, it reeks manipulation all over. Just like Metetraon and Crowley. Dean's been dealing with these kind of things all his life, he should be better at this.

-Why is Zeke so afraid of other angels coming? Sounds like he's hunted, just like Cas.Still think he's Lucifer though.

-Cas using the name meg gives him, but sleep with another girl without hesistation... don't know how to feel about this
-I am glad that Dean didn't kick Cas out just because Cas will bring danger to Sam, Zeke held Sam at gunpoint to force Dean to do so. But I do wonder, if Cas was held at gunpoint, will Dean kick Sam away to save him?

-Since when do reapers are so horny, like a demon? And What happened to Death? He is okay with this many of his reapers moonlighting? I think he'd be pissed!

-Reapers need vessels now? what am I watching? Meet Joe Black?

-Since when did reapers have the ability to bring someone back to life? I thought death is their job, not resurrection.

  82. What I have not liked about Charlie is all the bad mouthing she does to the guys. Just little digs. I loved her web series but have not watched it in a couple of years..need to see if it is still around. She has been in several others series that I liked..Dr Horrible's Sing along Blog, Dollhouse, Eureka, The Guild..did not like her in Buffy.

    Don't like Zooey either.

    ReplyDelete
  83. If he wanted Cas gone, why did he find him for Dean, why heal him? I don't understand Zeke, but am starting to lean toward NOT A GOOD GUY.

    ReplyDelete
  84. I don't think Zeke left Heaven, with his wings all burnt and crispy I think he fell with the rest of them.

    ReplyDelete
  85. Jared is excellent going from Sam to Zeke, but I think a lot of it goes to the editor also. Seamless changes.

    ReplyDelete
  86. ha, last season the first ep ruined the whole season for me...SAM NOT LOOKING FOR DEAN. I kept waiting for them to fix it..but they did not.

    ReplyDelete
  87. It's because Castiel is still being hunted by Angels and Ezekiel is still weak so he wouldn't be able to fend them off like he would if he was 100%

    ReplyDelete
  88. She was also in Eureka but I don't hate her at all not sure why everyone else does.

  89. He doesn't let anything slip that was just a live tweet like a lot of actors do.

  90. thank you!!! it was all i could think all episode, they have completely destroyed reaper canon!!!
why would that first reaper have even made himself visible to sam and dean instead of just following them like a normal reaper? why can reapers be hurt by the angel blade? why did the reaper possess a woman (is that what she was with april? otherwise, why else would a reaper have their own apartment and job?) and why are reapers freelancing instead of reaping?!?!!
i did like the episode but all the reaper stuff made it hard to really enjoy

    ReplyDelete
  91. If we saw any of this oncamera I would be more invested. Instead everything w/Cas happens offcamera.

    ReplyDelete
  92. So loving the use and abuse of Sam . The Angel and the brother I do not know which one is worst ? but there is no going back . Jared is doing a great job of dual roles but Sam's autonomy is in tatters .

    ReplyDelete
  93. Buckner & Lemming-Ross introduced the idea of "rogue reapers" in last season's Taxi Driver which I thought was a pretty good idea. These rogue reapers would have to make themselves visible to all their clientele including humans who wanted and "paid for" favors that could only be performed by Reapers. But my objection in 9.03 was that 1) B&L-R were inconsistent in the two Reapers powers; the male one (forgot his name) was easily caught and restrained by the Winchesters - even the reaper canon added to by B&L-R in TD had Ajay zapping out of Purgatory - why couldn't the male reaper just zap away from S&D? 2) Since when do Reapers possess human vessels like April? And the male Reaper didn't seem to possess any telekinesis while April hurled Sam & Dean effortlessly.(In 4.15 Tessa also demonstrated she had TK abilities) Both 2.01(IMTOD) and 4.15 (DTAH) and every episode that has included reapers has them as "some type of spirit" who can take on human form but are never human.

    ReplyDelete
  94. They already established that rogue Reapers do exist and that Reapers can be harmed by Angel Blades in Season 8.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Why do you even watch this show?

    ReplyDelete
  96. I enjoyed this episode, and I'm looking forward to finding out how Cas's "human" personality develops, if he stays this way. I'm not liking the fact that Dean has to choose between his brother and his best friend. I hope the writers don't screw it up by adding more drama and confusion between all of them. That's just bad writing and difficult to fix later.

    ReplyDelete
  97. Lol, yes, adopted brothers are real as well, but what I meant, when I said "real" is that Sam is a brother through blood relation, whereas Cas isn't. It is true that Dean or Cass hasn't conclusively stated on the show that they're brothers of any kind, but if brought up I doubt both of them would object that through the experiences they've shared and how strong their bonds are that they are willing to sacrifice for each other wouldn't place both of them in a relationship of brothers.

There are moments that can be marked up to that level of relationship of Dean taking Cass as his adopted brother and Cass accepting that role, unconscious, since he's sometimes clueless about these things, but Cass has acknowledged or shown acceptance in certain scenes after emotional events.

    ReplyDelete
  98. I feel like Dean is juggling two balls at a time, where it's very much doable, but he is having terribly hard time accomplishing it because of his past decision has led him in this predicament.

As for Zeke, though vouched by Cas, he has "too" good of a situation of being Sam's vessel to have anything jeopardize his well fortune. I think Zeke will give trouble of letting Sam go eventually down the line, plus if Cas couldn't heal Sam during the trail runs, I don't see any reason in the first place Zeke can accomplish such feat as well even after Sam becoming his vessel. I think Dean is being trick into believing that Zeke is "at this moment" keeping Sam alive until he is heal, but in truth, Sam will never heal and if Zeke depart from Sam, Sam will die.

    ReplyDelete
  99. I love human Cas! I also like Zeke, hope we can keep them both.

    ReplyDelete
  100. I haven't seen this posted yet, but I just from the IMDB SPN board and there is a thread http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0460681/board/thread/221249079
entitled "Reapers are angels according to WB Exec" and it (the "WB twitter statement" , not the thread, contains some inaccurate Angel/Reaper lore that isn't even close to prior canon.

    ReplyDelete
  101. Yes, I agree. I don't think Zeke has a personal vendetta against Cas or anything. What I recall is Dean asking Zeke who he was running from, and Zeke ignoring the question. So, I think it is more about what Cas will bring than Cas himself.

    ReplyDelete
  102. My suspicions were raised when Zeke didn't answer Dean's direct question about who he was afraid of would find him. He evaded the question and just demanded that Cas leave immediately. I'm very curious as to why. I think it was more than what was said, but I could, of course, be wrong.

    ReplyDelete
  103. Who? FD or ZD?

    I never watched "Eureka."

    ReplyDelete
  104. I never watching anything with Zooey except a miniseries she was alright in it I was talking about Felicia.

    ReplyDelete
  105. Can someone tell me if my eyes were deceiving me lol

When Cas was talking to Dean and Sam you can clearly see a mirror in the background on the right side of Cas shoulder and i kept looking there whenever the camera was on Cas and i couldn't of swore that someone was standing there bc i know the mirror looked blurry i can tell i saw movement so can anyone validate my findings lol

    ReplyDelete
  106. Who are you and what have you done with isleofskye? ;)

    ReplyDelete
  107. To me, I think he just didn't want to take risks. If somehow the angels would find out where Cass is (not sure how), they could circle the bunkers and don't think the boys can just stay forever in it if a siege happen (even if the bunker, inside, is safe). Zeke is too weak to fight, he can't/doesn't want to draw too much attention on him. He just healed Cass and fainted.

    but that's just my opinion

    ReplyDelete
  108. And they will never fix it because the writers don't care anymore sorry GET OVER IT!

    ReplyDelete
  109. I voted good. It would have been great or awesome if it wasn't for the ending. After everything Cas went through and what's still out there waiting for him, to make Dean kick him back out into that, for Sam . . . blah, blah, blah. There's no way that SHOULD happen with the kind of person Dean is supposed to be any yet he has too because . . . Sam is sick yet again.
I know I'm in the minority but I'm so EXTREMELY sick of the whole 'Dean cannot have anyone but Sam by his side' mentality from the fans and the writers as well as the whole Sam being sick or in jeopardy or some other crisis formula. I know SPN writers are creative enough to come up with something else but we always return to this, even though Dean is pushing 40 and Sam is mid-thirties. But, of course, regardless of what Cas has done for them, Dean in particular, he's out.
I know. I will get blasted about this series always being about two brothers but it's not really. It's about Sam and how Dean always sacrifices everything for him. In the end, Dean's speech in "Trial and Error" sums up exactly how they write his character because every season has mainly been about Sam and whatever crisis he's currently going through. Season 1 revenge,,Season 2 psychic kids, Season 4 Ruby and revenge, Season 5 redemption, Season 6 soul less, Season 7 Lucinations, Season 8 purifying himself, Season 9 healing from the trials. The only season half way about Dean was Season 3 and his deal.
Dean's already had to kill Benny for Sam. Now he's signing Cas's death warrant by kicking him out, again for Sam. Why does it have to be that way? Oh, yeah. Because he cannot have anyone around him but Sam. And they wonder why everyone has them in an incest type relationship. What the hell else is there when they (the writers and the fans) clamor for this. And other viewers lose a lot of characters that we liked.

  110. Okay. I haven't read all 111 comments so someone may have already touched on this. I kinda don't trust Zeke all the way. I mean it seems to me based off of the first episode that the angels don't really know who he is. He wanted Cas out of the bunker for reasons that I understand, but why should Zeke be worried about being found? I know that he is helping Sam and Dean and the angels don't like them, but still. He makes it sound like they were gunning for him before Sam became his vessel. Also, are we super positive that that is Zeke? I'm just saying that if an angel wanted to be trusted they would name someone who is on Cas's side. I don't know. I'm probably just being paranoid haha. They've just been betrayed by angels so many times that it's hard to fully trust him. I do like him even though I don't trust him completely so I do want to see more of him. Jared is doing an awesome job.

    ReplyDelete
  111. Jenna, that's the feeling I got as well. I believe angels were after Zeke before they were all ejected from Heaven. He seemed more worried that someone would find HIM rather than anything else.

    ReplyDelete
  112. I like the show:)
seeing that many ppl downvote my comment really makes me feel like I sound too negative, but I just skipped the good part which everybody says and well known and pretty much the same everytime e.g. excellent acting skill, SFX effects, good dialogue etc. Everybody knows that and commmented that, I figured I didn't need to say the same thing.
I like to try discussing things that not many ppl see immdiately, like Dean pulling the blade from a dying Cas, not trying to judge, but this does seems funny isn't it?No? my sense of humour is bad.
going through my comment, my real criticism is the last one, and pointed out a few plot holes on reaper, that's it. maybe ppl don't like what I said about S9's storyline. I am worry, but that's because I don't want the show to flop like S6, and it's true that they didn't come up with a storyline yet.

    ReplyDelete
  113. Just remember Sam doesnt know, That was between Ezekiel and Dean lets not make out Sam is doing something wrong here .I am not interested in the motivations of whether someone thinks Dean is hard done by story wise , it is what is happening on the show within the story and Sam is not the bad guy or has done anything wrong within this situation.

    ReplyDelete
  114. LoL. I don't know why people think I do nothing but criticize the show. ;) I have absolutely loved 99% of seasons 1-7 so...!

    X

However I still can't stand season eight, dumb-dumb Castiel and his angel brethern, these crappy writers and the blatant canon-trashing and re-booting that has been going on since Carver took over, but if things have slightly improved this season, then I have to be honest and admit it.
    :)

    ReplyDelete
  115. How do you figure that it happens off camera? Do you have a crystal ball or something? Misha is a series regular again this season. We'll be seeing plenty of Castiel and his being human is a major story arc this season.

    ReplyDelete
  116. I've been thinking about that too and it seems like there might be something up between Zeke and Bartholomew that we don't know about yet. Since Bart is hell bent on finding Cas then it would make sense for him to not want Cas around if that means Bart could find him through Cas.

    ReplyDelete
  117. For me this has been a 100% improvement from last year, I am even watching the eps more than once. I used to do that all the time..still have not gotten S8 DVD..can't find it used cheap enough. It will get to my $10 price sooner or later. ;) I just want it for the bonus material..eps will NEVER be watched again.

    ReplyDelete
  118. I don't quite go with your 100% estimate but there's no doubt that the episodes are more watchable, though the tendency to trash canon is still rife, so I'm yet sitting on the line. :)
    X

I'm looking for a cheap edition too,for although i have seen the eps, the rest of my family hasn't and I don't want to spoil their enjoyment by telling them how bad it was. I reserve my complains for here. LOL!
    X

The Sam not being allowed to look for Dean crap still sticks in my craw and I'm so annoyed with Carver for not fixing that big mistake!

However there are a couple of episodes I like, so I'll watch them.

    ReplyDelete
  119. My son drives a big rig and wants me to hurry up and get S8 so he can take it with him to watch...told him just give me the money and I will get it. lol

If it had not been for the Sam not looking for Dean I would have put that season close to my favorite, S4. But every time I start to watch one of the eps I can't get past what happened in the first ep and just stop. In fact I finally deleted them all from my DVR. So for me season 9 is a big winner....SO FAR. Still waiting for Carver to go off the rails again, but hoping it will not happen.

    ReplyDelete
  120. actually we see him get a job in episode 6 then we see him decide that he needs to get his grace back around mid season. I think thats plenty of time spent on a non Winchester character.

    ReplyDelete
  121. I understand. Your comment did come across as rather negative, but then again, I can be rather negative myself sometimes. :P

I'm going to have to rewatch the episode, but I thought Dean figured out that Cas was already gone when he removed the blade? Anyway you're right, if he was still alive, it would have caused him to bleed to death almost immediately. At least in real life!

    ReplyDelete
  122. Don't say that just yet! Maybe in twenty or thirty years you'll feel nostalgic and climb to the attic to find "your old dvd player" and S8 discs that haven't yet been damaged by dust and mold... Just kidding of course. ;P

    ReplyDelete
  123. Of course Dean would not kick Sam out. He will laways pick Samover everyone, nomatter who they are. Cass would be sacrificed for Sam.

    ReplyDelete
  124. LOL, maybe but I really don't see that happening. I have had Sam & Dean as members of my family since the pilot and last year came close to getting me to stop watching.. Broke my heart what they did to Sam.

    ReplyDelete
  125. Good point. Maybe he was "hiding in plain sight" like Balthy?

    ReplyDelete
  126. Is it true what I'm hearing about the sh*tstorm on twitter (harassing/insulting/bulluying the actors-writers) because of the same reasons I said?

    ReplyDelete
  127. Maybe Zeke was fighting Bart before they were ejected from Hell?
    I can't wait to learn what's really happening w/Zeke!

    ReplyDelete
  128. I don't know. I don't go on Twitter. Even if I was, Spoiler TV is the most I'm willing to get involved in this fandom - usually reasonable people here compared to other places. I have a few good friends off Spoiler TV from the time the CW Lounge for the show existed, but that's it.

    ReplyDelete
  129. No, I know and agree that Sam doesn't know or have anything to do with this particular scenario. My comment was mainly directed towards the writers (who I really do love most of their work and creativity). I would just love to see some new or at least different plot devices.

    ReplyDelete
  130. hey I got over Dean riping Sam out of heaven in season 2 so get over this. there not going to say anything about it anymore face it that's over like anything else in the past season its done so move on I know it suck but like in season 6 Dean never really looked for Sam too he said he did but come on really please.

    ReplyDelete
  131. mine too I was all most done with this show but I so hope Carver can turn it around but its not really looking that way because of the Lying to Sam again same old same old and I am sick of that.

    ReplyDelete
  132. If Sam has said I DID look, I would have been happy. Did not have to find him or get him out..just LOOK. This forum is for out thoughts and feeling about the show and that is my feeling..Sam would have looked for Dean and Carver totally dropped the ball. They have always looked for each other. You are free to think anyway you want.

    ReplyDelete
  133. Maybe Cas is into autoerotic asphyxiation.

    ReplyDelete
  134. The majority's thoughts and feelings are what matter, dude.

    ReplyDelete
  135. I'm a hundred percent with this comment. i mini-thon'd the first three eps too, so I felt like I got somewhere in a short amount of time. But yeah, love it's beginning to feel like it used to, at least in respects to the brothers. Outside of Zeke possessing Cas, I've no damns give about anything related to Heaven/Angels.

    ReplyDelete
  136. I kinda want Zeke to turn out to be God. He's repairing after being injured in a hockey stick attack from rollerblading thugs on the Atlantic City Boardwalk, after a great game of skeeball.

    ReplyDelete
  137. Agreed.
For me only the brothers are the heart and soul of the SPN and if they are written badly, as happened last season, then the show goes into cardiac arrest, but when the brothers are more or less themselves, even the mistakes in canon although still present, are a little less annoying.

    X

As for the angels, a little fast forwarding once you've got the gist of what's going on is, easy to do. :)
(P.S: Did you mean Zeke possessing Sam?)
