    God, I love this show so much.

    LOL at Ichabod being repeatedly done with Abbie and Jenny's shit. Loved it so much.

    Did not expect Abbie to be her middle name or for Grace to be her first name.

    Whoa at the demon finally having a name!

    Man, idk where to start!!! I just can't get enough. The On Star woman crying, lol Ichabod trying to kill Jenny and Abbie. lol (img was it just me or was his yelling totally sexy?) The jokes he said to Abbie "imagine the delinquency we can perpetrate if we really put our minds to it" then you see Abbie smiling while she's holding the flashlight in her mouth, lol that was so cute. And in the car when Jenny and Ichabod are trying to bond, and he smiles about to agree with her, and Abbie says "Don't!" Jenny was just smiling in the back, lmao... I liked that the demon didn't have a name, i felt it was more mysterious that way. But i'm also relieved at the same time. Next week looks very exciting....And yes Ichabod i agree with Abbie, you DO look good for 200. lol

    I'm glad the sisters are on speaking terms again (sort of). I sense a Buffyness about the show. I guess it's the demons in every episode, and Ichabod seeming so Giles-y, with his knowledge of ancient books. If Abbie had a Mr. Pointy instead of a Mr. Shooty, that would clinch it. Jenny turned the duo into a trio and I'm sure more will be added to the Scooby gang this season. I think Sleepy is going to stay around for a while.

    I like that the episode picked up from last week. There was some good stuff going on-more mysterious sheriff background, revolutionary war plots, and snarky ichabod.

    Glad to have the show back on track after the 2 episode slide post pilot!


    I hope we are done with Angry-Abbie now!
    I mean, you know you are too angry (ie bitchy) when the people you question tell you that you are too angry for you own good! XD


    Nice to have more back story on Jenny. Hope she sticks around and doesn;t run off to do her own thing. I would prefer her as a regular to recurring character!


    I'm wondering if the Hessians are the evil witches we were warned about or just another clandestine group that operates with Sleepy Hollow? I lean towards the latter I guess..... Hopefully the show does not keep coming up with new groups that all operate in the small town. A couple groups with historical ties is enough for me!


    The fact that the head Hessian uses a voice synthesizer makes me assume he is a character we have already met. The Captain? He has always seemed like he knows more than he lets on to me.


    I loved the "OnStar" call with ichabod! XD


    Knew that tattoo would come into play.... a regimental mark of the Horseman's unit. Interesting!


    I wonder if the other mark I noted after the pilot will come into play as well. Maybe the good witch coven?


    A really nice episode for me! Still not as "Awesome" as the pilot, but I would rate it a "Great" for sure!

    loved it as the SH chapter of the scoobies have their hangout, and now have potential/eventual member with Jenny (once she gets out of the bin) in the ranks as they battle their hellmouth.... I do wonder if anyone will ever ask IC about his snappy outfit - I do see in some of the other pics that he's still dressing that way in ep 5/6? he's almost like the glee cheerleaders who never wore anything else but their uniform... lol

    was an okay episode, I did like Jenny more then Abby, but overall still a little trope-y.

    Moloch: not used much but still really damn familiar because of Buffy.

    Hessians: ah, the Germans are the bad guys, that's original.

    Hessian Markings: someone on the show must like fantasy author Michael Moorcock because they used his Chao Star (or the variant by occult author and chaos magician Peter Carroll) he made up for his series of books. Kind of interesting, a wee bit lame.

    Key of Solomon: Yeah, I think someone got their Pandora in their Solomon or was it their Solomon in their Pandora? Interesting mashup. Also, the book, the Lemegetona real book from the 16th/17th CE was not written by the Biblical King Solomon. but, ya know, I don't think this show is striving for accuracy.
    overall a nice romp with a good pace.

    Interesting about the Chao Star, I have always thought of that as the symbol of chaos. I'm not familair with the books you mentioned though.

    I'm not sure of the origins of the symbol, but the chaos aspect fits with the idea of the Four Horseman..

    yeah, that is the origin of the symbol. it was made-up by the author. It comes from his Eternal Champion series. but these are from the 60's so it has made its way into popular and occult culture since then.

    I respectfully agree with you, except on the "pretty flat" part. The "Sandman" was a menace through most of the episode with his kill by "Guilt Manipulation", but when he warned Ichabod they had no business concerning his sins then starting turning him into "Sand" one body part at a time when Ichabod tried play the he(ro)...............the "Sandman" became fiendish IMO (don't be surprised if we see him again). 4 A RIDE THAT WILL LEAVE YOU HEADLESS, I will be Nobody!!!

    This is a excellent new series. Great writing, great dialog, and great acting. More scenes between Grace and Jennifer and especially more scenes between Ichabod, Grace, and Jennifer because the car ride scene was outstanding.........MORE PLEASE! Now to the episode in question. 72 demons in a TV series would mean 3 or 6 seasons at 24 or 12 episodes a piece, therefore this was not random info. The image Ichabod was showing Grace in the book towards the end was the painting of the "Red Dragon". Those of you familiar with the "Hannibal Series" know what I'm talking about. Are we to take the image literally (the Red Dragon is apart of the story) or was it just a "Cool Image" used by production as a set prop? I'm already looking forward to the next episode. 4 A RIDE THAT WILL LEAVE YOU HEADLESS, I am Nobody!!!

    It was a nice episode, loved the bantering between Jenny and Abbie and how Ichabod told them to tone it down. Also enjoyed Jenny's backstory and her connection to Corbin and the visual effects during the summoning were really well done.

    Fox announced it three or four days ago, and I had a feeling FOX was serious about scheduling shows more like cable. Hopefully soon they can successfully transition into having new programming most nights year round. I sure hope so, I've always loved FOX's scripted programming although it gets canceled quickly. So happy they're so gung-ho about Sleepy Hollow and that it's a success.

    Effing cool episode. The writing on this show is so top notch, they have the most potentially painfully corny moments in this show yet they make it so cool and awesome. I am loving the character development and the progress of the mythology. As mentioned the opening scene with Yolanda was perfect. I laughed so hard. And I think I've said this before but I freaking love how cohesive and serialized this show manages to feel even though they also take on the case of the week format. Can't wait to learn more of the secrets of Sleepy Hollow. :D

    And after Sleepy Hollow went off I discovered Highlander was on. Not only that but I dropped into the middle of Clancy Brown's awesome "Better to burn out than fade away!" scene. :-D


    I am loving this show more and more each week. Over the Halloween weekend I intend to bring a new fan into the fold. (Can I do a maniacal laugh over that?)


    I love effects design..the demons in the lake(?) of fire was awesome and creepy. The buy playing the Hessian was awesome. My second thought though was whether he plays the Headless Horseman as well. For a moment I expected that they were going to blame the death of the bartender on Jenny. Really really glad they didn't.

    I loved The Sandman, and i do hope we see him again, but there was something off about the episode. I can't put my finger on it, it just wasn't as exciting as the pilot, or second episode. I'm surprised you didn't feel it?

    Something off or missing! The "Sandman" episode was the first one without "Zombie Chow"! He was in the pilot and a featured character in the second episode. The "Moloch" episode is the second episode without him. Had he been in episode 4 last night would have been the best episode thus far IMO. Until next Monday "Sleepy Heads" or watch the replay on Friday.........who's watching because I am! 4 A RIDE THAT WILL LEAVE YOU HEADLESS, I am Nobody!!!

So i'll be occupied (besides working) I don't watch Almost Human, but i do watch Bones, and i also think that's so stupid. lol But eh, it is what it is. But i loveee that we'll both keep our schedule busy, til The Following returns!!! And do you watch Being Human???

    My last comment was rhetorical, i was being sarcastic..no that's not creepy, however i def. wasn't flirting, but i did mean what i say. It's a turn off in general. BUT that's just me. When i talk to my "website crew" I like the fact that they're just as nerdy, geeky, crazed fanatic as i am, b/c the "normal" people don't get it. It's like when you're into a sport (or something you're passionate about) and they go "Oh it's just a game"...I HATE that! On here or other sites i go to, i can be myself b/c i know the people on here are just like me, And i take comfort in that. I don't get to go to CC, but THIS is my CC. = )
