Not as amazing as the first two episodes were but I still loved it!
The whole scene with Olivia being held hostage was heart stopping. I was really worried that Huck would kill Eli, but I'm glad he didn't because I still want more Olivia/Eli faceoff scenes. Also, drunk Mellie/Fitz scene was A+.
I know I'll be in the minority....but Scott Foley is such a mediocre actor.....and for the most part this show has some of the most well acted characters.
For me the best moment of the episode was Olivia admitting to herself and Jake that her father owns her too. That last wine sip was so full of emotion, it really touch me. It made for the best non-cliffhangery ending for the series, IMHO.
Those 2 you mention fake(d) emotions on their show as part of their character, GD character doesn't and I have to say he has done a good job in this show! Yes this episode he was a bit flat, but I think he was overall still good.
Maybe its a personal thing, some actors just don't click with certain people sometimes and I can't buy his acting. I think I am a minority though but I really don't find him believable.
I actually really like GD ... maybe it's just because I loved him so much in Weeds. That being said if he calls Olivia "Blanca" and makes her do a brick dance, I may just have a all out fit of the vapors.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

LOL at planning Mellie and Fitz's "romantic weekend" ... Poor Cyrus trying to spin that is comedy gold.

ReplyDeleteNot a minority. Mediocre at best. Glad i'm not alone.
ReplyDeleteI actually like him but I do agree that his acting is not up to par with the rest of the cast.
ReplyDeleteMellie has never been more devious. I like this site of her.
ReplyDeleteAlmost as good as the first one! It had everything!!
ReplyDeleteDrunk Mellie and the Cy/Rosen confrontation are great. The rest is worse than mediocre.
