  1. I can't believe it took me this long to realize that Titus was Emery in Rose Red (I didn't realize that was him either when he was on AHS).

    Still wrongly shipping Charlie/Monroe. Oops.

This show has gotten so much better and it sucks that many people stopped watching.

Whoa at the end! Was not expecting that.

  2. I'm giving it a couple of episodes at the most before Charlie and Monroe happen, which is all kinds of wrong!
This episode was really good, but can't wait for the band to get together again! :)

  3. This episode solidified the fact that the writers have no clue what or where they want this show to go. Terrible acting, terrible plot. I tried, I really did. but three episodes is enough to prove that nothing has improved from last season.

I know that Charlie has her fans and I respect that but I'm not one of them. These last couple of episodes have been so good with her off on her own. I've DVR'd and fast forwarded through all of her scenes and its GREAT!!!! i know it won't stay like this for too long but I'm enjoying it while I can.

  5. Whoa! that was a great episode. Really really hope that Rachel pulls through!!!! ... also, I may be the only one, but I am really missing the pre blackout flashbacks. I hope we get to see some of those this season

  6. Funny, I feel the exact same way about the Neville scenes; I could care less if I see Tom or Jason Neville again.

  7. I like Revolution but even though this episode tied in some of the sub-plots with each other, I still only have a vague idea about what S2 will be about. S1 had a clear theme which was finding Danny and then it was all about turning the power back on but this season seems scattered and unfocused. How come the field of dead mice wasn't mentioned at all? I just feel like they have too much going on without providing any real answers but judging from next week's promo we'll finally get some soon.

  8. I think they're setting it up, I'm thinking all the people who hated each other in the beginning are all going to end up working together but they're going to have ulterior motives.

  9. Absolutely love this episode, but the serialization altogether has made the first chunk of the season great!

"If Monroe dies, my father dies."
It might be red hearing, but I think this line might reveal that Adam is Monroe's son. Plus the first three episodes are paralleling/juxtaposing the episode that revealed that Monroe had a son, when Emma was killed ("Home") by having both Neville believe Julia is dead and has launched a revenge camping just as now Titus wife Jessica is dead and surely he will launch revenge campaign unless the Patriots just turn around in kill him!

I really loved the turn overs in this episode though! From both the war clan being a "mock" clan in order for the Patriots to come in an be "Hero's" (the way they invaded the town reminded me a little of Super 8) and the way The Patriots know who Tom and Jason are and could see through Tom's first plan...(which beg's the question, "How Does the patriots know?" -I think the "all seeing eye/eye of providence" logo they use suggests that they either have a MASS network or an advanced way to communicate.)

And we totally have our Juliet Burke back in this episode. (And I would like to thank the writers for putting the Elizabeth Mitchell haters in perspective, "This is me smiling." (aka I'm not that kind of character, get over it!). Very emotional and action packed!!! I hope the ratings have steadied.....

  10. I'm not sure if they will have a chance, but I get the feeling that Adam could be Monroe's son and I almost expect that those two will become better friends.

  11. Yep 100% is setting everything up rather nicely.

  12. A great deal has improved. We have yet to have a story of week, instead we are DIRECTLY dealing with these characters in relation to the fall out of missiles. It's clearer that The Patriots no doubt have also been behind the first black out, especially since Randall was member despite also being in the former Government's DOD. The way the invade and are militarily organized in relation to all the information they have suggests a great deal of "pre-planing" went into what's currently happening.

The production value is so much better and the new characters are giving a lot of flavor along with a more metaphysical underbelly in terms of it's mythology and themes provide for a more thought provoking story.

The action sequences, especially in this episode, are also improved. The dialogue is also much better IMO and characters are showing other sides.

  13. I think we still have a lot of time to cover in between the tower and now, but I'm hopeful given Rachel's and Ben's involvement in relation to the first black out that everything will still tie back to that and we'll get more flashbacks to earlier times.

  14. It's ideas so far are:

Who are The Patriots and what do they want (which most likely will bring our gang back together in order to fight them).

God and Science: Separate or together (Series Tagline "Hope Will Light the Way" = nanites are transforming-divine-life extension and push for pro humanism themes, eventually through our family of main characters)

And who is Monroe's son and how does he figure in?

  15. Thing is Charlie and Monroe would kinda be like incest (though obviously not technically) but come on He's identified himself as like a brother to Miles and Miles him. ANd we all know who miles is that father of (wink wink) even if he is (by some strange missed opportunity of a chance her father) he still is her uncle by blood so yeah. AWKWARD.

  16. I'm sure I'll get downvoted, but this season's been fairly predictable thusfar. I mean, who didn't figure out what would happen at the end when the thugs invaded the town? Even more obvious when the guy yanked Titus aside and told him to slow his roll because he was being paid to scare the town, not slaughter them. And I'm sure the Patriots are looking for Rachel, Monroe, etc. because the Patriots know who was in the tower when the nukes went off, and want to kill them before they can convince anyone of the Truth. I'm also pretty sure the bounty hunter is Monroe's son, too.

  17. Wow wow wow, that was so intense!! I continue madly in love with revolution 2.0! This episode had major the walking dead vibes and considering that is my favorite show, that is an excellent thing to say. I really adored this. When the town was in danger and rachel got hit i was in serious trouble watching. Also loved the ackward charlie and monroe scenes. Charlie turned into a badass, they really worked on her, which is great! And it's very organic to what the character went through which makes it awesome! I so hope this survives the season, I am adoring it!

  18. I like the Adam character so I would be good with that

  19. I agree with everything, well said

  20. I disagree. She had many issues in season 1.A but this year I think she turned into a badass, I am loving her!

  21. I agree, they were the least interesting part of the episode.

  22. I want flashbacks but only if they're relevant. So far I haven't been missing them, too much going on!

  23. Once again, love your post! Also, Elizabeth Mitchell is one of my favorite TV persons ever, if not my favorite, so kuddos to that last paragraph! And she insists on using the same clothes Juliet was using in late season 4/ early season 5, so I have major flashbacks. I like your theory of Adam!

    ReplyDelete
  24. He's very likable IMO and more of an adult than Jason.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Well I think the invasion of the war clan was predictable, but the fact that they were actually a mock clan that claim to Patriots who hired Titus to "scare the town" was something I didn't see coming, even though I suspected there might be a connection, I just didn't expect the episode to feature a double tactic in which the clan are Patriots and that they knew who Tom and Jason are. I'm also not sure what exactly they want with this town in Texas and if they are behind the nano-fireflies or if that is something that was created the night at the tower???

Adam does seem like a likely candidate for Monroe's son, but there is also one other upcoming character that might also fit the bill...All I know is that the truth of it is suppose to be a slow burn so I don't think we will get the official reveal until the second half of the season.
