  1. I laughed so hard at The Walker Texas Ranger line and Miles' comeback to that - He's known about far and wide or something like that. And A+ references to the Ghostbusters.

I didn't want to, but I'm kinda starting to ship Charlie/Monroe. Oops.

Whoa, wonder what's going on with Aaron. Something's off with his girlfriend.

What the hell at the end.

  2. I loved most of the episode all the charlie monroe scenes, aarons scenes, juilette and her dad's scenes but they started to lose me with the war clan being connected to the fake government.

I wasn't a fan of the war clan the whole ex-bording school pediophile thing connected to the fake government and then that woman at the end. None of that fit in my mind and I liked it a lot better when it was an actual war clan that just wanted to rape and kill the town. Then the town could kill them and we could move on to the fake government. But now those two groups are forever connected and i just don't see it. I really hope they course correct next episode.

  3. By far one of the best eps of the series.

  4. Me too this Charlie/Monroe dynamic is kinda fun.

  5. Bizarre and spectacular episode wow, better than the premiere and definitely one of the best of the all series.

    Monroe and Charlie scene
Neville and Justine scene (Giancarlo was terrific in this episode)
Miles and Titus scene (really strange villain)
    Rachel and Gene scene
    All Aaron scenes
    are great.

  6. First of all i think tracy spiridakos as upped her game this series. i wasn't keen on her acting last season but she seems much better this year.
All the rats were a bit weird but i have a theory on that. When aaron was having his delusional episode or whatever it was, it started off with a dead rat. ben then said "it's you" so i'm thinking that the nanites somehow killed the rats and used them to heal aaron. not sure how it would work though.

  8. I wouldnt be suprised if aaron's girlfriend was connected to the war clan

  9. Why is the show so radically different this season? It feels like they've jumped narrative tracks and it's become season four Supernatural. I was confused about the changes in the series for about seven eps then. RVN wasn't the greatest show, but it seemed more straight forward last season. All of the elements I've seen in these two new eps seem like a recipe for a convoluted disaster.

  10. Loved it! My kind of episode!

Have some theories in my post on Lisa's Review if anyone is interested.

  11. I'm torn, because it almost seems too obvious. I more apt to think that either she is genuine or that she is a Patriot spy and not a direct apart of the War Clan (they did attack when Cynthia was there. If she was working for them, what would be the objective of attacking them?)

  12. IMO LOST ending is not a cop-out you just have to come to a metaphysical understanding in which the Island was a time machine and that life is fueled by collective conscience (an ethereal plane that provides a transition between corporeal lives, as branch off's in the time lines would be made by time traveling onto "certain" strips of time. The Island was life extension on every conceivable level. This Place is Death --->Life (corporeal), Death (ethereal), and rebirth (corporeal) = reincarnation. Heart of the Island is a concept barrowed from Ancient Egyptian beliefs that the heart is the door way to collective conscience. In essence all major theologies and philosophies (especially Eastern Philosophy and Ancient Egyptian, which were more highlighted in season's 5 and 6) all have elements of truth to them, but none of them were the whole/exact truth to the way reality manifests.

  13. Right but if she's there to spy on them for the war clan, then you could see the idea of them coming in and attacking them, her,and the town seems to defeat that purpose. She could have easily killed them, especially Aaron, herself.

  14. True i didnt think that theory through all the way lol

  15. I mean if she's directly linked it would be kind of weird, but that doesn't mean she isn't indirectly linked...In fact i I remember right, I thought her casting call said she had a son?

    ReplyDelete
  16. I wasnt aware of the casting call but i feel like they should've brought up the fact that she has a son by now if that is in fact true

  17. You would think.

Here's the casting call for Cyntia
"Cynthia : Beautiful 30's something mother to a young teenage boy."

So either they changed their mind or it's something that is upcoming.

  18. Yeah thats probably what happened. They already have so many characters on the show so there's no point in adding any unnecessary ones

  19. Loved it! Everything about it was awesome. All storylines are very interesting and every single character is compelling at this point. I also love that we literally have no idea where it is going, there is no formularity at all. I thought Charlie would end up saving Monroe. I adore the Monroe character though, he is so complex. If only the show could have managed to be this good last year it would be in a better position ratings wise. I hope it manages to survive.

  20. I disagree. Yes, the shows feel radically different, but in my opinion it has been a change of 180º for the better!

  21. Great theory. And I agree that tracy is doing much better this year. I though she had also improved even last year if you compare the first half to the second one but yeah, this year is much better

  22. Your saying thousands if not millions rats died in order to heal Aaron??? Are you saying that in order to bring someone back someone or something else must die in it's place??

his girlfriend witnessed the fireflies appear in front of her and then Aaron resurrected again and once again appeared in front of Rachel revealing all the dead rats.

That so called Government that Neville wants to take down has no idea that the Illuminati is heavily involved and responsible for nuking Atlanta and Philly along with causing the power outrage

  23. What's off with her? I got that Aaron started to tell her that he knew what caused the blackout, but I didn't see her acting strangely. Did I miss something?

    ReplyDelete
  24. Well. That was weird. In the best possible way. I am a sucker for the weird stuff. That said, I do hope they don't go quite so full-on with it all. I don't have the mental energy for heavy theorizing. I still haven't fully recovered from Lost :/

Great episode overall. I do love this new direction and can't wait to see where this season goes.
