  1. I really liked all the Captain Swan this episode. Quite a dilemma for Hook.

  2. I loved it! I hope Hook does the right thing and tells Emma the truth. I'm glad he helped Charming. No to the Emma/Hook kiss.

Loved the Snow/Charming kiss, but LOL forever at Emma and Regina's reactions to it. And hee at "I'm here too" when they talked to Henry.

    Great episode!

  3. Yes, to the Hook/Emma kiss! Sorry, had to make sure again. Also, some things are just universal. It doesn't matter if you've know your parents your entire life or a year, a child never wants to see their parents make out. ;)

  4. I LOVED this episode but I felt the pace was a little rushed. Killian's story is a great one and should've been better developed, maybe a two episode arc? Anyway, great twist on using the sextante as a plot to get David to where he needed to go and wtf he can't leave the Island? I really wanna see how they're gonna resolve that.

  5. Loved Emma's reaction to her parents making out. Her 'ew gross' face was fun & very realistic to how most people react in that situation. Basically all the family interactions were great...I'd like more of that. Also enjoyed the return of Regina & Emma teaming up for Henry's sake.

I'm not too into romance so that part was boring for me but it was nice that they didn't waste too much time on it. I also really liked the contrast of Hook & his brother's close relationship vs. Charming & his twin's non-relationship. I keep forgetting that Charming had a brother at one point.

Pacing of this episode (and the last few episodes) has been a bit odd though - some episodes seem so slow & boring, but then today's was almost overloaded with story.

Really looking forward to the next episode :)

  6. No Hook DO NOT TELL EMMA! I love Caption Swan!

    ReplyDelete
  7. we didn't see. neal was in the first obviously but the second is a mystery. My guess is either tinker bell, the little mermaid or someone we haven't meet yet.

    ReplyDelete
  8. but keeping something this important from her wont make him a better person. I kinda hope he tells her, I am starting to enjoy good hook.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Ah,thanks! So i wonder where Rumple is? Seems he and Tinker disappeared...

  10. I really liked this episode. I'm just concerned that Hook will not tell Emma about Neal. I want him to because that is the best way to prove that he is a honorable man that he wants her to see. I'm now gonna worry about it all week. I know that this is dramatic and that the show is not real, but if he doesn't tell her before Neal shows up my heart will break. Again sorry for being dramatic. lol

  11. It was a good episode, but not bas good as the past two. I'd rank it 4th best of the season so far.

My biggest problem: If Killian became a pirate out of contempt towards the King and his lies, why didn't we meet the King? Why didn't they delve deeper into Killian and his brother's trust towards the King? I didn't feel that the writers demonstrated this as a big enough reason for him becoming a pirate. Hopefully we will see more of this in a flashback someday, but obviously what happens after he becomes a pirate is what is important and what fan's want to see next.

  12. I love Killian, but his whole "brothers" storyline seemed really contrived. In the finale, Hook told Baelfire that his father left him in the night. Did he refer to a brother when relaying that story? Or are the writers not considering continuity?

Robbie Kay continues to SLAY as Peter. I hope they don't kill him off prematurely like they did with Cora. He has great chemistry with pretty much everyone he has a scene with, and I also dig how they haven't tried to give him a sob story (yet). Sometimes a villain is just a villain, and that route is really working for this character. I hope they don't try to woobify him.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Maybe Tiger Lily? Didn't they cast someone who fit her description?

    ReplyDelete
  14. Also, was it supposed to be implied that Rumple was in the second crate? Or is it possibly someone else?

    ReplyDelete
  15. Yeah seriously. If he doesn't tell Emma, then he's just a liar. It really wouldn't be a favour for cs shippers, since it would go against the sensitive character they're trying to paint him as.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Well some viewers have wondered where Tinker is, and we haven't seen Ariel or Tigerlily, yet

IMO it feels like they are intentionally hiding who the king is, like how they intentionally did not show Queen of Hearts face at first.

Most likely because the king will be introduced(or was already introduced) as some other character.

  19. Except that Hook supposedly spent hundreds of years in Neverland the second time he went, so I don't know how we could know who the king was. But I suspect you are right, we will recognize him and I'll sigh about continuity.

  20. I loved Sawyer/Juliet. Best romance on Lost period. I kind of hate the "Pirate with the heart of gold". Can't he have been shady before instead of Mr. True Blue fighting for all that is right and good? Rumple and Regina both were complicated before they turned bad. Hook is just a straight out misunderstood good guy who did it all for love.

    ReplyDelete
  21. "Can't he have been shady before instead of Mr. True Blue fighting for all that is right and good?"

I don't think he has always fought for all that is right and good.
Yes, he didn't want to bring a mass murder weapon to his king, and that was a noble sentiment. But after his brother died, and he then defied the king's orders, he seemed driven by revenge. That was his turning point. In that, his story echoed Regina's - he stood by his beliefs, but that cost him dearly. So he vowed to punish his king's betrayal by becoming a pirate.

"They took my brother from me, and I'm gonna take everything they've got, starting with this ship." - sounds a lot like: "You need to be alive, you need to be awake, so you can spend all your days knowing that I've taken everything that was supposed to be yours."
My point is, he was a noble character up to the point when his brother died - and Regina was, well, the most flawless character on the show, until Cora ripped Daniel's heart out. Hook's actions, as much as Regina's, are motivated by love and coping with its loss. Rumple is a little different, because his understanding and expression of love is always coloured by his fatal flaws - fear and sense of ownership.

    1) Time moves differently across the realms. That was already stated.
    2) Its quite clear that Hook's homeland is not in FTL and thus most likely has a different time movement than FTL does. Or King did not stay in same land and would end up in in one where time moves slower in perspective of his original one. We don't have enough info but the show has enough ways out of this situation, as shown with Nealfire. Which leads to the last point...
    3) We literally know nothing about the king or what happened. He(or she) could be immortal, could be a monkey or could be a chair.

    ReplyDelete
  23. So the whole reason to poison Charming was so Hook could save him and get a kiss from Emma? Nice. How romantic. I would have preferred if it was a bonding moment between Emma and Charming where she somehow was able to save him with her magic. And where is the whole "change" to Charming? Nothing drastic really, just a reversion to David Nolan in keeping a secret from his wife and daughter. And now he has a new one.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Sure keep it a secret. It's not like Pan will blurt out the truth later on. Oh wait. He would. He's already done that with Rumple and Bae/Neal. So yeah keep it a secret and there goes the "triangle."

    ReplyDelete
  25. I don't wonder where Tink is. She told them last week that she was going back to her tree house until they had a plan to get them all out of Neverland.

    ReplyDelete
  26. the "heeeee I'm here too" made me laugh so hard too! :p

    ReplyDelete
  27. I voted great! I loved the Emma/Reigna(/"hiiiiiiiii I'm here too"Snow) scenes ! And finally "OUR son" ;) Hook's backstory and Captain Charming bromance were entertaining. I'm still not on board of the Captain Swan ship. I see what there doing and it could be not that bad if they weren't rushing it.... because even if that kiss was hot (only because Jmo and Colin are indeed hot) it came out of nowhere....baaah we'll see what Hook is going to do about THE secret....

    ReplyDelete
  28. I thought it was interesting to see Henry actually attack the lost boy, I personally didn't think he would. Shows that Pan is taking his toll in him! I also liked the Hook flashbacks, but I agree with people when they say it could have been more explored and perhaps over more episodes? But then again, he isn't a main character, so I don't know if they'd use up the screen time, I don't know.
I also loved the Emma/Regina interactions, with Emma 'OUR son' and Regina's 'WE love you'. There interactions have always been my fave. But, I'm still wondering if Hook will tell Emma and the rest of Neal. And who is in that cage at the end of the episode?

    ReplyDelete
  29. It was a good episode, enjoyed the flashbacks, liked Liam and was bummed to see him gone this quickly, hope to see more of past Hook. David went from hiding he is poisoned to hiding he's stuck on Neverland, he really needs to start being honest with his family. Regina keeps on getting the funniest line, proud of Emma for letting Regina take the heart but I kinda missed Rumple.

I would have preferred that as well.

I didn't like that either. He essentially went from one secret to another one. David needs to start telling the truth.

  33. I really hope he tells her. Not telling her will backfire.

    ReplyDelete
  34. How exactly is not telling her gonna help Captain Swan?

    ReplyDelete
  35. I don't know if we will see the king as it was like 300 years ago but I agree with you :)

    ReplyDelete
  36. Don't why but I have the feeling that when there are going back to Storybrooke, Hook will make a deal with Pan so Charming would be able to go back to Storybrooke with his family.
    Really cool episode anyway!

  37. Nice episode! I welcome a flashback that takes us away from the usual Evil Queen, Snow and Charming, and Rumple ones. At least this one, we saw how Hook became a pirate.

    Several observations:

    1) Peter Pan's face has become irritatingly annoying to me. Gah! I want to punch his face everytime it appears onscreen. Please save Henry as soon as possible and leave that son of a beyatch rotting with his lost boys.

    2) The women are badass!! When Emma, Snow and Regina heard a noise, Snow took out her arrow, Emma her sword, and Regina her fireball. God, these ladies could take care of themselves! I love them!.

    3) When in the first episode, Emma said, "To save Henry, we need to be ourselves, you the villain, you the pirate, and you the hero." At first, I didn't understand what that means, but this episode sheds the light. When Regina took out the heart and said "It's what I'm here for", finally I understand.

    4) I think Colin O'Donoghue should be given an award for his acting this episode. Like when Pan wanted to make the deal, you just couldn't figure out if he would take it, because he could make that "you can't figure me out" face. Also, did you guys notice that Hook was consciously or subconsciously seeking for Charming's approval? Like when Charming said, "he deserves a credit", Hook looked genuinely touched.

    5) The family tie is strong here. I freaking much love the scene when Henry finally got to talk to his mothers and grandmother. The music, the emotions, the brief delight in each of their eyes, is tooooo much! When Regina said, "WE love you", I was like, "awww, finally, she's in a team!!"

All in all, great episode. It's refreshing to have Pan as a new villain, but come on, at least Regina was great as a villain and we love to hate her (or just love her), but Pan, I grew to just hate him. Kill him please.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I'm also actually a secret Captain Swan shipper (opps!). But even I think it's a better idea for Hook to tell the truth. There's too many times they present a character with a dilemma and the character chose a wrong one.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Definitely a great episode!

Loved the LOST/Fountain of Youth reference and the stipulation the writers have added with it!

Really liked Killian's back story and his relationship with David. I think they used the brother themes nicely here. ( I still really want an avatar with Hooking holding Charlie Pace's hand which reads "Not Penny's Boat". If only I were better with Photoshop!)

I'm still indifferent to "Captain Swan", as I still think Neal is long term, but I'm glad he's becoming more of an anti-hero and at least maybe he will be a good friend in the end. I can't shake the feeling that he'll sacrifice himself for everyone else in the end. I guess only time will tell!

Glad Emma let Regina do her thing! (And what's with Snow being so extra timid all the sudden?)
And I want to rewatch and see how many times the word "sex-tante" was uttered ::super eye roll::

    ReplyDelete
  40. But Hooks not a Villain, he's more of anti-hero. Neverland makes people loose faith in themselves and to be fair we have only seen a couple of Hook back stories, while seeing several from Rumple and Regina. I'm hoping we will see more of how he becomes more corrupt leading him to FTL and Milah....

    ReplyDelete
  41. I was trying to figure out if there are just "portals" in the sky in order for people to keep using 'the second star to right' direction to get there???

    ReplyDelete
  42. The thing I'm noticing with Pan is (and maybe it's because I'm only 5'1" at age 32 and can relate) that he often does tell the truth, but the problem is that people don't tend to take him seriously at first, because he "appears" as a child...

Additionally there are certainly MAJOR LOST parallels here and this idea of Henry being able to restore/save magic is similar perhaps in saving the Island = saving life extension and the possibility for multiple futures/lifetimes/incarnations. So I think Pan is like Jacob/MIB and is a part of the Island and is is either forced to take recruits and/or simply doesn't want to be alone. -But I would like for the characters to get to Henry already.

But I agree with all of your other points and opinions! :)

    ReplyDelete
  43. Except when he told Henry to lose hope because nobody is coming to get him. That's when I started to lose it. I don't know why it's different with Regina and Rumple, like when they both manipulate, it's evil but it's also kinda like there's a story behind it. But Peter Pan is like (or it seems to me) evil for the sake of being evil. I don't know, maybe I need to see a flashback of Pan, of why he became this way, or like you said, lonely and didn't want to be alone because so far, him wanting to recruit boys into the Island didn't make sense a bit.

I didn't watch Lost, so I'm really not sure about the parallel that you mentioned :(

    ReplyDelete
  44. InvestedInYourFutureOctober 28, 2013 at 2:27 PM

Pan has to reach all those different worlds somehow, after all.

Considering OUAT has "borrowed" quite a bit from Fables, its quite likely that Pan has access to all the realms that have magic - magic dying would cut off his power.

    ReplyDelete
  45. I didn't say he doesn't ever lie, just that more often than not I see him tell the truth until people start getting nasty with him.

Basically in LOST there were twin brothers one, Jacob who became the protector of the Island, his twin known only as The Man In Black, became a temporal, polymorphic being: The Smoke Monster who was trapped on the Island and who could astral project memory and/or morphed into people from the character's past, especially dead people....Ultimately the Island was a type of time machine which houses [magical] electromagnetic water which is the essence of life and provided life extension on all conceivable levels. Jacob was looking for Candidates to become the next protector before he dies and MIB was trying to find recruits so that he couls find a way off the Island, but ultimately would destroy the Island and it's water, as it held it's water through a cork.

I think Pan's got a reason for being Pan, but I'm not sure if it's our characters that will see that to some degree he is right, or if he is the one that will have a rude awakening???

    ReplyDelete
  46. Ya! loved the LOST/ Fountain of youth reference,it made me giggle,ha!

I also like Killian and Davids storyline.I was much more interested in that than the rest of the story.I like Pan but not enough to keep me from not wishing they get Henry and get the hell out of there...Your probably right about Hook sacrificing himself in the end,but i hope not,I like him.

Yesterday Lana tweeted that 'the cat was out of the bag,she is Ursala' I don't remember who that is?

    ReplyDelete
  47. Ursala is the villain featured in Disney's The Little Mermaid...She's part octopus! (I'm kind of glad in way, because the weird make-up job on all of her promotional photos might have been a sign of her character somehow ar some time being "transformative"...I didn't watch the promo close enough (I was anxious to change the channel to The Paradise)to see if I could tell if she was Ursula in the flash back or in current time???

  50. Or Wendy Darling :) It would be AWESOME!

  51. THIS. You really can't apply logic to this show. For example, the Jolly Roger and the ships that pursue her are equipped with cannons, and yet Fairy Tale Land is quite medieval and clearly hasn't discovered gunpowder yet, or else Regina would be all up in that business, she does so love to make things burn. So either Hook's homeland is not FTL or someone mucked up on their basic history.

I think Hook is actually meant to be from FTL, in spite of the inconsistencies that would create. He and his brother talked about winning a war by poisoning an entire race. I suspect that race is the Ogres. Rumplestiltskin went to war against them as did King Midas (father of the woman Charming's brother was to marry that he was then sent to marry instead). They still existed in substantial numbers after the curse. Whenever Hook was born before he spent his many years in Neverland, the Ogres would have existed in FTL.

Of course I think this plot point is a minor one that may well not even come up again so no never mind.

    ReplyDelete
  52. I wish Peter could just stay bad. But alas someone quoted the producers about how even Peter Pan has a good side. Personally I think it's a mistake. Not everyone has a good side. The Nazis for example...

    ReplyDelete
  53. No way they'd be able to keep Rumple in a wooden crate, he's one of the most magically powerful men going round.
Pan would have no reason to lock up Tinkerbell, he considers her a friend and doesn't know she's scheming with Operation Cobra Rescue.
My money is on Tigerlilly or Ariel.

  54. Guess i missed that,thanks!

  57. It's official, OUAT is back to what it once was to me. I loved this episode. It was my favorite of this season and I've really been enjoying this season. Some random thoughts:
    - They need to find a way to change storytelling like Lost did. This episode prooved that. It was so nice and refreshing to see an episode focused on Hook as opposed to yet another episode of Charming, Snow, Regina or Rumple. I mean, I adore Regina for instance, but at this point they really can't add much to her backstory and it often feels like "been there, done that". This episode was awesome for focusing on someone who hasn't been that explored before.
    - I love Hook now. I found his storyline very compelling and I love how it tied so nicely with present day events. For me, that's when shows that use this type of narrative are at their best. When the backstory is juts there for the sake of being, that's usually a less stellar episode. But when the two connect and give extra insight to one another, that is awesome and it happened here. I felt sorry for Hook for what he went through and I thought it was a good explanation of how he became a pirate
    - Present day wise, I liked that they are giving Charming his own storyline instead of being a plot device for Emma's and Snow's, which they've done way too much in the past. I like the character quite a lot, even though I still feel that they make him too much of a caricature at times. I mean, nobody is that selfless to ignore the fact that they are dying and refusing to take a couple of hours to seek treatment. Anyway, I loved his building relationship with Hook and I like where they are now.

    - Hook and Emma were nice. I am not a shipper pending to any side on this show but they had me here. I don't mind Emma/Neal but I have major trouble with the fact that he was proclaiming his love for Tamara a week ago and wanting o marry her and now acts like he was always in love with Emma just because Tamara was a traitor. Sounds very inconsistent to me and the writers' failure to address it only bugs me more.
    - Seeing how much Pan is getting to Henry already is very scary. It will be interesting to see what type of person he is when they finally get to him. I doubt he will ever be the same Henry he was before. Him breaking the mirror like that was very significant.
    - I loved how Emma said more than once "Our son" and how she was willing to let Regina do what she had to do. Regina also continues to get the best one-liners on the show.

    Excellent episode!

    ReplyDelete
  58. I was also glad that Emma and Regina were actively collaborating with one another and I liked a lot that Emma said "OUR son" twice!

    ReplyDelete
  59. It also reminded me a bit of Jack/Sawyer, it was great!

    ReplyDelete
  60. I agree with everything you've said, especially welcoming a flashback focusing on a new character, except for the fact that you're not digging Pan. I think he makes for an awesome villain, I am still loving to hate him. Not even sure I hate him yet, I am just deeply fascinated by him. The show could not survive with Regina as villain because they would always need to redeem her in a subsequent episode and it would always be character assassination and poor writing one way or the other. She is my favorite character but we're better of with other villains IMO.

Great points in 2) and 3)

    ReplyDelete
  61. I think they will explain better why Pan is the way he is.

    ReplyDelete
  62. I am kind of dragging the moment we have to go back to storybrooke though, I am loving this arc so much

    ReplyDelete
  63. Loved the "OUR son" thing too. As for Hook, it was not clear from this episode what deal was that he made with Pan in the past if I am not mistaken, so I don't think we are done with his storyline yet. I hope not because it is certainly more interesting and refreshing at this point than yet another Snow White episode!

    ReplyDelete
  64. Me too, great bromance right there! I am very glad they are giving Charming a relationship with someone other than Snow White, since they couldn't even let him develop one with his own daughter

    ReplyDelete
  65. I agree ,I doubt it could be Rumple

    ReplyDelete
  66. I think they will give him a sob story at some point, it's in the show's DNA. However, to me, as much of a sad story some villains have, to me some are still villains. Sad stories can help you understand their motivations and, in some cases, justify them; however, to me, in most cases they are not justifiable, so they are still villains in my books. I don't think one thing precludes the other.

    ReplyDelete
  67. I actually disagree, I don't think we needed to meet the king for it to be well explained. I mean, the king (whoever it was) was someone hook and his brother were giving their lives for and it turns out said king was a coward and that because of that hook's brother died. It doesn't strike me as odd that Hook would revolt after that and said revolt resulted in him becoming a pirate.

    ReplyDelete
  68. I agree but I doubt he will because the show will push an Emma/Neal endgame, happy endings and happy families of it all

    ReplyDelete
  69. Ahahah love that "I want to see your hook inside his body" reference, I didn't notice it when watching ahah

    ReplyDelete
  70. Sawyer/Juliet are awesome! Always! I loved that

    ReplyDelete
  71. I preferred Sawyer and Juliet and Jack and Kate to Desmond and Penny to be honest. But I understand why most would prefer Desmond and Penny.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Agree, I loved Charming/Hook!

    ReplyDelete
  73. I think they should try to use the fact that Charming had a brother more. It could lead to great twists and storytellings; the fact that we forget about it is not good at all IMO!

    ReplyDelete
  74. I agree. As I said at the end of my comment, it's refreshing to have a new villain. I even said in season 2 that Regina needs to stop being a villain and I actually welcome Greg to be the new villain alongside his girlfriend (although very ineffectively they were at that). But, this is just my opinion, Until now I'm just not sure what's so scary about Peter Pan until both Hook and Rumple fear him. I mean, yeah, he's magical, he's evil, but if honestly compared with Rumple, I think Rumple is more evil than Pan is. So, I'm not convinced of what makes Peter Pan a unique and different villain other than a teenage version of Rumple (especially after he tried to make a deal with Hook, that's very Rumple). As much as I want Regina and Rumple to stop being villains, I gotta admit, it's only them who are good at that.

    ReplyDelete
  75. I think Pan has been doing an excellent job being a villain so far. I understand where you're coming from complaining that we have yet to see what he is capable of that makes Rumple so scared but I think they will explain that at some point and it will become clearer to us.

    ReplyDelete
  76. To each his own I guess. I think Pan is the recycled version of Rumple and his existence in the show is like Shaw's existence in Person of Interest (not sure if you watch that), she's the female version of Reese, adding nothing new. Maybe I can change my mind if they delve a lil bit deeper into him.

    ReplyDelete
  77. I can agree with you much more with Shawn's existence on POI. Even though I've been warming up to her (especially with the last episode), I still don't feel that she was needed on the show - there was no gap that she has fulfilled. For instance (and now I am the one that is not sure if you watch) in Agents of Shield, I constantly feel there is someone missing on that team. With Pan, I really don't feel that he is a recycled version of Rumple, I don't see many parallels to be honest. But like you said, to each his own!

    ReplyDelete
  78. Yes, to each to their own. Everyone is entitled to their opinions, and I understand why people like Sawyer/Juliet and Jack/Kate more. Charlie/Claire was also a good one for me.

    ReplyDelete
  79. Lost had many decent couples ;)

  80. Quite right! And to just go in a completely different direction, what's your name mean?

  81. Don't hold it against me but I don't even remember. I started using this name online so long ago that I don't remember anymore that was it supposed to mean, crazy as that sounds

  82. Ha fair enough, I was just curious.

  83. I loved the sheer amount of Swan Queen in this episode! :D VIVA LA SWAN QUEEN

  84. I hope we get to see more of Captain Jones. I wonder who the king of his realm is. I want to see him go further down deeper from the straight-laced good guy to a vicious pirate. And it was just great to see a flashback story for someone we don't normally see a flashback story for.

Loved all the Charming/Hook in this! Their banter and "mates" are one of my favorite dynamics on the show. And I loved his scene with Pan. And heck, I even loved all the Captain Swan. He's got himself quite an internal turmoil now. Next week looks great, too.

  87. I lost count of the times I rolled my eyes. Boy, they're pushing this damn love triangle like there's no tomorrow. It's the dreaded Jack/Kate/Sawyer triangle all over again (except it's Neal/Emma/Hook). I hated that on Lost, I hate it here as well. The situation on Lost only improved when they added Juliet to the mix, and the Juliet/Sawyer romance was the best twist in the whole show.
Additionally, "the water gets its powers from the island" had me laughing - really? Healing water spring? Lying superior? What is this, a Lost reboot?

On a more positive note, the Killian story was good, and I did like the Jones brothers. I didn't expect to, but I might be warming up to Hook as much as David is.
Which brings me to Captain Charming (is Peter Pan a shipper? "I want to see your hook inside his body" sounded unintentionally funny.) All aboard, mates! It was easily my fav ship from this episode - well, second only to Regina+sass. Poor Regina, stuck as a fifth wheel on an island full of obnoxious twisted pre-teens, and in dire need of a good storyline. But then again, she is no the only one. And she is still the most entertaining character on the show.
And last, but not least: what happened to Tinkerbell?! She just went back to her cave? :(

  88. Liked it better than last week. Great to see Hook's back story, it would be cool to see more. Wonder what he's gonna do with what Pan told him.

  89. Sorry had to say this, Desmond/Penny > Sawyer/Juliet. Not to say Sawyer/Juliet was bad, I enjoyed their relationship, but Desmond/Penny was my favorite from the show.

  90. great ep, liked the background on Hook, but some of the plots felt almost too rushed: Hook's rapid seduction attempt of Emma, Henry apparently falling prey to the "lost Boy" lure, and the sudden feeling turnabout of honorable Lt Jones into a pirate (I get that it would be the impetus, but the transformation seemed unrealistically abrupt as portrayed).... but I liked that Emma was willing to let Regina so her thing for the sake of Henry (liked the way she referred to Henry as "our son" to Regina). Liked the bromance of David/Hook but question David's need to keep everything a secret.... I must admit that I wasn't all that keen on Pan at first, but I really like that the character has really become an "evil pot stirrer" for just about all the characters thus far and the actor portraying him has done a pretty good job imo. Liked the nods to "Lost" in this ep with the "magical spring/water of the island" and that the Apollo candy bar made another appearance
