    Can we please have the funny Schmidt back? I really feel like S3 is ruining his character.

    Well I knew this was going to happen. You writers just had to mess with the roommate chemistry. You had to make Jess and Nick a couple. Now we are heading for a train wreck. You took all the funny out of Schmidt because of the Cece / Elizabeth catastrophe.I rather watch a half hour of Winston and Ferguson. Can we just unhook all these romances...........lets get back to roomies and funny stuff. There are so many stories every week ..............these guys are like the scooby gang....lotsa stories...but no we have to SEX them up.............yikes......we need a time machine to go back and recapture the zaniness...........the friends ...the bromances.....the fun. The NEW Girl is turning in to the OLD boring Girl. Please fix it immediately. I remember many a night laughing about a line or situation.... and the next day still laughing.........and talking to friends about it.........I want that back!

    I disagree. Jess and Nick's relationship has nothing to do with Schmidt going dark side. Jess and Nick had their fair share of relationship drama without sacrificing the humor. My problems with the show right now are how unfunny Schmidt is and that Winston is still in need of a storyline.

    Schmidt's character is being ruined because of the Nick Jess hook up. They were all funnier when they were on their own......unattached. Like the four stooges.....

    Nick and Jess's romance has impacted the shows writing and story lines............that's all I am saying.
    The entire dynamic of the cast as been skewed, The roomies were all single misfits and their chemistry and interactions were funny and fresh. Now we have the odd couple......with the odd roomies. Schmidt could have all his problems with Cece and Elizabeth.....and he would be still be funny and sad now he is mad angry and jealous.....why? Because Nick is with Jess......the dynamic has changed......hey many people may like this new dimension. I personally do not care for it. I want it back the way it was............I never wanted the Jess and nick hook up and I still don't. They are indeed adorable and dorky and if this was the Nick and Jess Show I would like it......but its not!

    What are you talking about Schmidt being jealous and mad at Jess/Nick? That was last week, he has moved beyond that and you'd be aware of that if you had seen this week's episode. Schmidt is still bitter about the break-up with CeCe and he doesn't know how to move on and that has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING> to do with Jess and Nick's relationship. Schmidt is at a dark place right now and that is neither Jess' nor Nick's fault, it's his own fault for being too immature to tell truth.

    I am well aware of this weeks episode. Everything about the dynamic of the show is because of the Jess/Nick hook up. Schmidt and Cece always had problems since day one of the their secret sex days. Schmidt is a mess right now and I agree it's his own doing but with whats going on with him ***COMPOUNDED*** with J and N is adding fuel to his miserable fire. Please lets not argue the point. We all have our own opinions ...if you read other website blogs you'll see that many people are unhappy with this season so far not just me. They want funny Schmidt back....they want this J / N thing history and they want a story line for Winston. Like I said misfit roomies that complete each other........funny zany....hysterical.....I love this show but I feel the writers went down a road traveled by too many other shows that lead to doom. It is possible for 3 men and one woman to live together without a hook up.....I preferred when the three guys acted as her much needed brothers.

    I guess we'll have to agree to disagree. The Nick/Jess relationship is one of the few things I've been enjoying this season. Winston's lack of a storyline and Schmidt's messed up storyline are the only things that bother me about the show right now.

    Really liked it. It was very Smith focused and the romance was on the backburner but I still enjoyed it a lot, I like all the different aspects of the show, so I was good with it. I really thought the scene in which Nick confessed to Smith he was helping him all along was very sweet. These guys are so crazy but care for each other so much, it was nice to see!
