  3. That was a cool episode, but I still miss Ziva...All those references to her not being there were kinda heartbreaking.

  5. I give the episode a C+ not bad but not great either. It was a fun entertaining episode. I think that's why we've got a ghost of mike franks episode next week till they bring in Ziva's full time replacement.

I live that the team did not want anyone to see on Ziva desk......was the same when kate was killed no one sat there

  7. Only reason I didn't vote awesome was 'cause I miss Ziva. Still to soon to be completely happy about the epi without her. But it was very good. Loved Vera. And the Ziva mentions were very sad, but also necessary, IMO.

  8. I gave it an awesome. While it was weird without Ziva, I thought the guys did a great job and deserve all the support they can get. Everyone did a great job.

  9. Best episode in years! Close to the "original NCIS" that I once fell in love with, well balanced, team-centric (including Ducky and Palmer!) rather than single-character- or guest-star-driven, finally acknowledged the friendships within the team again (seriousyl, we hadn't seen any McAbby, not even friendship, in AGES!, and Tony not overly making fun of Tim but somehow supporting him was good) and made use of McGee and his talents (he spent a looong time on the sidelines, or rather his desk, doing nothing really, it was fabulous to see that they still remember he's brilliant and capable). All while carefully acknowledging Ziva's departure as well as mixing in about the right dose of character background (for both McAbby and Palmer) without making it the centre of the episode (like they mostly used to with Tony, Ziva and Gibbs in the past few - mostly horrible - seasons).

This was the NCIS that I've missed for soo many seasons and I hope they'll keep this up rather than reverting to the predictable, unbalanced mess they've produced for the past number of seasons! If they do keep this "back to basics"-kinda thing up I'll be glad that my hope/wish (that Ziva's departure will bring back the balance and main focus of the show to let it be the original NCIS again) will have come true.

  10. For the first time in over 4 years, I didn't watch and don't plan to. The show cannot be what it was without a main character.

  11. Too bad,you missed a good episode. When did NCIS only have one main character? Last i saw Gibbs,Tony and McGee were still in it...

  12. I'm guessing that Gibbs is building a rocking cradle for Palmer's baby.

  13. I want Vera as a regular! Not a new young victorias secret model. Vera Vera Vera. To me this was a test episode to see how she fared on the show minus Ziva.........I give Vera a big thumbs up. She makes Gibbs genuinely laugh!

  14. It's easy stop to see NCIS. Cote will be back

  15. Yep.I was hoping that would have happened. A cold case, anything to keep her on.She plays off of Gibbs so well its a shame she was only on for one episode.

Younger doesn't always mean better, and Vera proved that last night!

  16. People (they are not fans!) voting this episode down because Ziva isn't in it, are sick. It was an enjoyable episode, even without Ziva. Looking forward to the next episodes!

  17. :-( I hate Vera! She blamed Tony for things that wasn't his fault and she was ungrateful even though Tony saved her life when she was too stupid and slow to get out of the way! He didn't get a thank you and she behaved badly when he wanted to help her with her purse.
