    Maybe I Think They Are Doing To Many Spinoff's But CGIS: Coast Guard Investigative Service Would Technically Not Be A Spinoff.

    CGIS: Coast Guard Investigative Service would be as much of a spinoff, as NCIS is to JAG. Just because they don't start out with the same initials, doesn't mean it's not a spinoff.

    Law & Order SVU Wasn't Originally Going To Be A Spinoff It Was Going To Be Titled Sex Crimes Nothing To Do With Law & Order.

    I think Gary Glasberg and Shane Brennan are going to use the characters of Borin played by Diane Neal and Strickland played Roma Maffia as alternatives in case Emily Wickersham's character of Bishop should fail to test well with viewers much in the same way that Robyn Lively's character of Vivian Blackadder failed to test well audiences during back door pilot in 2003.
