  1. Wow, Ted, you sure liked that Bro Code when you used it against Barney when he and Robin slept together the first time.

Damn at Lily. LOL, no wonder all of Robin's female friends have disappeared.

I loved Robot!Marshall, but I want him in Farhampton soon.

And "sometimes", Ted? REALLY? That sometimes only seems to be when she's in a relationship. Glad Barney kept calling him out the entire time.

    I liked it!

  2. Eh, just an okay episode. Cute enough. But I will say I definitely enjoyed the Ted/Barney scenes. And Ted expressed exactly my thoughts on the matter and showed why Ted-bashers should get the hell off of his back. He can't help it, he's human, and he's doing everything possible to move past things.

  3. But where's the Mother? She's supposed to be a series regular

  4. First time I ever said an episode of this show was GOOD. I didn't love this episode but I did like the Lily/Robin storyline it's always nice to have them have a storyline together.

  5. Ugh... I just... I don't know. I laughed maybe once. I'm extremely annoyed by the whole wedding weekend now. No mother again. This may end up being as bad as Dexter's final season if it keeps at this pace.

  7. Great episode, loved Robin and Lily's storyline and Marshpillow 2.0.

Now I do believe that Ted will not do anything to ruin the wedding "intentionally".

Awesome one.. Barney knowing and accepting that Ted do have feelings for Robin is something I wanted to see and writers have cleverly made it funny and emotional too..

Marshpillow was damn funny especially in the starting of the episode where lily also pauses classic ..

On the whole awesome episode and only 20 more to go.. :(

  9. I like how Barney accepted that it isn't that easy for Ted to switch his feelings for Robin off now people can stop hating on barney

  10. There's promoting something, and there is downright lying. And that's what the creators have been doing the whole summer. The whole time they were saying "this is the season we get to know the Mother" or "it's her season as much as everyone else's" (I'm not making these stuff up, these are actually their quotes) and yet she is nowhere to be seen for 2 whole weeks and probably more. I don't care what everyone here likes to see, everyone has their own preferred stories in a show, all I know is that a large group of fans (including myself) have been lied to the whole summer. I am so disappointed right now.

And the episode wasn't even good, at least the previous one had a couple of funny moments. This one was simply boring.

I said the episode was okay...and I think it was more of the fact that I'm just waiting so much for the mother to show up again. We've barely gotten to see her and for some reason I miss her terribly already haha. I laughed a lot with the whole Marshpillow thing, he was sooo funny. I'm glad we had those Barney and Ted scenes, I think they were needed. And I know how much everyone including me wants to see the mother and feel as if we've been duped, but I have faith that she'll be showing up again soon and we will definitely get to know her extremely well when we do. I have faith the writers won't let us down, we still have 20 more episodes to go!

  12. You can also add, that they were saying there'd be a lot of flashforwards and flashbacks, even whole episodes. The episodes that have aired so far, have less flashbacks and/or flashforwards than your typical average HIMYM episode from previous seasons. If they are really planning on carrying the whole season on a 24-style storytelling, it's not going to work. I haven't lost faith yet, though, but the story needs to get moving. Next week doesn't look hopeful, though: Look at the joy of Robin and Loretta playing strip poker, everybody! Oh, and another appearance by James. This season's tally so far:
James - Guest Star - 4 appearances out of 5
The Mother - Series Regular - 2 appearances out of 4 (I'm guessing 5 now!)

  13. Sadly, I can't help but agree. Maybe it's just a bad batch of episodes, that will be followed by something better!

Do we know when the next episode with the mother is?

  15. I really enjoyed it and I am glad they are addressing the whole Ted-Robin-Barney thing. I am quite happy with the final season so far. I think it's important to see and meet the mother but I am much more interested in getting resolution for the characters I spent the last 9 years with.
