I cried the whole time. I loved the Sue + Santana scenes.
I'm so pissed the local news station aired a segment RIGHT after the episode ended about a football player & his heroin addiction, that is so wrong on so many levels.
Carole slayed me. The whole episode was difficult to watch with a dry eye but Carole totally made me lose it. Sue was a very close second. Really nice tribute.
Anyone have anymore tissues? I'm all out...I cried in the beginning with that stupid number song that i hate so much, even them singing that made me start to tear. I wasn't even put off by it. Mercedes trying to sing through it w/o breaking. Carol, Burt, and Kurt's scene..That's when i really lost it. I felt SO bad for her! Santana and Puck too. Rachel and Will. You could definitely tell what was real in this episode. I think through the entire hour, i didn't cry for a whole 3 min.
beautiful done. The ending was so touching and emotional. Rachel's performance was so powerful and intense. And the scene with Carole, Burt and Kurt was like really seeing a scene in real life when someone that you love leaves really soon. Really heartbreaking.
Just finished watching, I'm glad they put the Santana and comedy scenes in, I needed a break in between the crying. Absolutely heartbreaking in every single way. I'm done with Glee, there is no way I can watch another episode after watching that. I will be a mess until I go to sleep :(
Didn't have the courage to watch it while it aired, I recorded it and then watched but had to pause every couple of minutes to blow my nose and dry my face cuase I couldn't see through tears!!!! Carole's scene killed me!!!! The whole episode was a beautiful tribute to Cory!!!!!
Beautiful episode. I thought maybe I wouldn't cry all episode long but I should have known better. The Carole, Burt and Kurt scene was simply beautiful. You could feel Lea Michele's pain. I get why they said they couldn't take many takes of each scene. You can see people's faces about to start crying and trying really hard not too.
This was a 40 minute cry. It was a perfect episode and Mr. Shue made me cry the hardest. He was so strong for all of them and I was afraid he wouldn't let himself grief. I just can't. I'm a mess right now..
I think it was the best goodbye Glee could have done for Cory and Finn. All the performances (acting and singing) obviously were coming from real feelings, but each actor managed to take their grief and express it the way you would expect them to. I was crying the whole hour and almost 12 hours later I still am feeling sad about it.
This hit me harder than I thought it would. I was just sobbing the whole way through it. The Carole, Puck, Santana & Rachel scenes hit me hardest. I'm glad they focused on the original cast. Wish Quinn & Brittany had been there though
This was the only episode of Glee I have ever watched. Right when the picture of Finn Hudson/Cory Monteith showed up in front of the characters I started crying, and I kept crying through the entire episode. This wasn’t just acting, this was pure emotion going through the screen. If it were up to me, every one involved in this episode should win an Emmy, it was excellently done! Superb to every end! Thank you Glee, for truly delivering what was A++ work in television!
Have not watched Glee before this episode... managed to get through 10 minutes and have not seen the rest yet. The scene of his parents and brother was amazing. Planning to watch the rest with my box of tissues!
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
That was amazing and perfect and just right.
ReplyDeleteI lost it during the scene with Carole, Burt, and Kurt.
God, this episode hurt.
I cried the whole time.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful tribute.
ReplyDeleteI'm not crying. I'm just sweating through my eyes. :,(
ReplyDeleteThat was such a gut wrenching episode.
ReplyDeleteI broke down so hard during Rachel's performance. She definently touched my heart. Just amazing.
Damn, I need a hug now. That was just too emotional.

ReplyDelete*Cyber hug*
ReplyDeleteThis episode belonged to Carole, not Rachel (no disrespect to Lea Michele)

ReplyDeleteIt saddens me to think that she was only able to do one scene. I really broke down with Carole, and I know what you mean.
ReplyDeleteA heartbreaking Ep I love the songs and cried so much it was truly a great tribute for a Man gone too soon.

If only every junkie received such a tribute episode.

So does this mean he won't buy anything from me anymore? That sucks. :(

ReplyDeleteThey should've just aired How High instead of this episode. Would've been the same tribute but not that expensive for the network. ;)
ReplyDeleteThe ending...OMG...wow.
ReplyDeleteIt was a beautiful tribute and it was nice seeing so many from the old gang again.
ReplyDeleteWhat a perfect tribute. I cried my eyes out the entire episode.
ReplyDeleteFinn's mom crying was heartbreaking

I realize some people like to joke about tragedies - so-called "dark humor" - but your comment was just bad all over the place.
ReplyDeleteIt was a beautiful episode, but I missed Dianna Agron and Heather Morris. Where were they? Quinn should've been there, she was his ex.
