I liked that scene because it was touching. When she said, "We are the lucky ones" she was right! They are lucky because they found love. And even though their loved ones are gone they have the memories and also the children.
This was a very nice episode! though now I'm worried for Edith. Babies never come along with good news in Downton... Cora had an abortion, Sybil and Matthew passed. This can't be good.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I like how they are handling the "racist" question in those early times.
ReplyDeleteOverall I really liked it how it is telling the stories (I found it rather sad seeing all three widowed remembering their loves :( )

ReplyDeletePlus, she's not married so if the news come out, wouldn't it cause some kind of scandal?
