As much as I wanted Pi off Castle's sofa not at such a high cost, I know it's for the best but, I didn't like the sadness of Castle at the end, he's going to have to deal with the empty nest syndrome, but thank goodness he has Kate to help him deal, and they can always work on making their three kids;)
See? I knew it's gonna turn out this way, and not in "I-m-gonna-use-my-dad-s-money-way" ;) Although, it is a bit.... weird, to put it that way, to move in with a guy she knows barely a month....
It's because the copy/ photo( that Ward had), had a coffee spill all over the letter but the original didn't. Beckett spilled her coffee all over the letter AFTER the photo of the letter was taken.
Best episode ever! Castle did some stuff like that before, where unbelievable stuff connect with the real world: A muredered vampire, a precog predicting her own murder... and now time-travelling! And every time, while they keep things in the real of possibilities, they always suggest that the weird may actually had a part in it! And that's always awesome!!
And time-travel... best idea ever for a ''let's be weird'' episode! I really want Doyle to come back, trying to save the future again with the help of Becket and Castle! Can we have that? :D
Also the coffe stain hade the exact same shape which is not that normal, it was like confirming the time travel to some and to others it was just good to see Kate doubt her cynicism for once.
She would be living on her own if she actually was but who do you think is footing the bill for Columbia? Castle, that's who, she's only going to be paying her rent (not expenses) by getting a work-study job (if she gets one, they're very difficult to come by). When Castle was 19, he was on his own, paying his own tuition, rent, expenses, everything and he had known Kyra for quite a while by the time they moved in together.
I really loved the time travel stuff. I could almost see a whole spin off forming. Do it!
I am still surprised at how much flack Alexis is getting this season considering how small her role has been so far. She has always been praised for her maturity and this guy is probably just a phase and will be gone soon, probably living together is just what she needs to be like ew this guy is horrible. Plus she can't really be spoiled if she is planning on paying for the apartment herself. Plus Castle has a way of wanting her to make mistakes and live but then not wanting her to, which is not entirely unrealistic of a dad but I wish fans would stop getting up in arms about it.
The episode was great. I only wish we had at least one scene with just Castle and Beckett together in her apartment. I hope we see them discussing the wedding plans soon. I thought it was cute when Simon stated Beckett and Castle would have three kids and Beckett would be senator one day. Yeah, after she takes down Bracken she should get his seat, lol). Irregardless, I really love and enjoy Castle. The writing for this episode was brilliant as always.
i can't even remembered when last i loved a castle ep this much! :D it's not just the story, it's the delivery! the wonderful, excellent delivery with juuuust some hints here and some doubt there and balancing everything so beautifully... loved it!
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
The ending was gut-wrenching.

ReplyDeleteGreat episode and loved the ending with Beckett spilling the coffee.
ReplyDeleteFavorite line: "Well apparently the only way to stop her is locking her up, but according to Miss By-The-Book here, that is unlawful imprisonment"
