So glad Pelant is gone!! Really glad Booth did what he did. (So I don't have to worry about him coming back). Loved the ep, but was slightly disappointed the proposal wasn't a little more traditional. Booth is a traditional man after all. One knee would have gone a long way, but loved it none the less. :)
Uhhhh, I'd say so...when the dog walker found him, he had no skin, his liver was removed and Pelant artificially created a remodeled injury...and by the end of the show after Brennan and Cam were finished with him, there were only bones.
Glad that Pelant is finally dead. But, in my opinion, this should have happened back in the Season 8 premiere. This episode ended the Pelant arc with a bit of a whimper.
I ma glad that Pelant is dead, but to me the episode was kind of lackluster. I don't know why but to me something was missing. I have to be honest, the way that Pelant died, I wanted a bullet to the head not the chest, just to make sure he wont come back. The proposal was ok, could have been better.
Wonderful ep. Glad that Pelant is dead. He really pushed Brennan, Booth (and the team to breaking point). The tension was definitely felt. Perfect ending and Booth finally proposed. YAY!! (wished that he went on bended knee, but it was still perfect). The best episode of the season for sure :)
this episode was good, for the simple reason that it killed pelant off. But that was it- it started well, the fact it was going to be the FBI guy's body was obvious- Pelant had bugs everywhere, he was going to figure it out. But the rest was just nothingness and poorly written and lacking any complexity. The whole he's in love with Brennan thing kinda came from no-where....
Lol,no. I was talking about Booth not checking to make sure Pelant was once and for all dead.deceased.cannot move, blink or say na,na,na,na bet ya can't get me!
Just giving a shout out to the Gravedigger, just in case anyone from the show reads this stuff. They should have spent this much time on him,er,her! :)
SO glad this is over. I mean, the guy was seriously unhinged, and he made for some creepy TV, and that keeps things interesting. But I'm just glad they didn't insist on dragging the story line out until the end of the season. That would have been beyond annoying. I'm glad they don't have him hanging over their heads anymore!
Booth doesn't need to check his pulse seeing as he made a kill shot which they train all snipers to do.Its basically a triangle formation head being the top point left side which is the heart left point and right side of body right point forming the triangle and the kill shot is the center of the triangle which is exactly where Booth shot Pelant causing to drop dead and barely had time to press the button.
Actually what Booth did is was his sniper training at hand. He made a kill shot which they train all snipers to do.Its basically a triangle formation head being the top point, left side which is the heart being the left point and right side of body being the right point forming the triangle and the kill shot is the center of the triangle which is exactly where Booth shot Pelant causing to drop dead.
If he shot him in the head he would pressed the button after getting shot and way before he hit the ground. Using the kill shot was the only way to cut the power lol
oh it was so good! One of their best episodes from their last years. It had everything I like about Bones! Really great! I thoroughly enjoyed what Pelant brought to the show (minus the wedding thing) but I am glad it's over but that they still left roots for a new big bad. Great stuff!
This guy has survived the second coming, don't you think its kind of hard to believe they didn't check for vital signs? I would want to make sure this guy was dead and not coming back under any circumstances....
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
please tell me that Pelant is dead/capture!
ReplyDeleteIt was one of the best episodes so far! I love it!!
ReplyDeleteSo glad that Pelant is finally dead. Just wish Brennan had been the one to do it, tbh.
ReplyDeleteAnd the proposal was cute, but I'm not sure how they all figured out it was one. LOL. But I loved them all watching.

ReplyDeleteis agent Flynn gone? there never indicate this
ReplyDeleteHe was good. He didn't realise that Pelant put the money in his fridge and planted a bug in his car.
ReplyDeleteWhat happened with the clock? Was it just a bug?
ReplyDeleteGlad to see Pelant gone finally. I wonder if Hodgins will get his money back now?
ReplyDeleteDing dong the bitch is dead
ReplyDeleteIs it a real proposal/reply if it is asked/answered as a hypothetical situation?
ReplyDeleteUhhhh, I'd say so...when the dog walker found him, he had no skin, his liver was removed and Pelant artificially created a remodeled injury...and by the end of the show after Brennan and Cam were finished with him, there were only bones.
ReplyDeleteI wondered that myself. I was hoping that Angela would go ahead and hack Pelant's files and get it back when she got in in time to see the proposal.
ReplyDeleteThis was a good ep, perfect end to Pelant and perfect proposal, so B & B .
ReplyDeleteGlad that Pelant is finally dead. But, in my opinion, this should have happened back in the Season 8 premiere. This episode ended the Pelant arc with a bit of a whimper.
ReplyDeleteThe new big bad is Alice Morgan.

ReplyDeleteOH thank the angels Pelant is dead finally.
ReplyDeletesomeone asked the question if they would and the answer was dodged- maybe the writers haven't decided.

ReplyDeleteGood point! :)
ReplyDeleteThey didn't go into that, surprisingly. Maybe it will turn out to have something to do with the next "Big Bad."
ReplyDeleteFinally we have our conclusion of Pelant's story and haunting of everybody.
ReplyDeleteYou were talking about bringing back the gravedigger, who is dead. :P
ReplyDeleteI see where this is going, their bodes are going to reanimate now they are back to back with Sleepy Hollow right? ;)
