This episode was okay. The episodes before this and next week's set the bar way too high. This one suffers by comparison. Still better than anything else in the time slot by a long ways.
Loved the ep. Really glad that Sheldon's reasons for being vindictive were rooted in his Mom & Dad's relationship. That's the most normal relationship thing hes done to date. Penny knows how to make a point....
Can someone explain to me the joke that Penny said: "Oh my God, you still go left"? I really don't understand it, but it seems to have made a lot of people laugh... I feel like an idiot since I don't get it.
She says in her introduction episode that she and Leonard's father only ever had sex for the purposes of reproduction. Yet, in this episode, she mentions that they had sex when Leonard was 6. It's possible that this was when they conceived Leonard's brother, Mike. But this is unlikely, as it would make Michael 27 years old. As he is a tenured Law Professor at Harvard and is engaged to a NJ judge, he is most likely in his early 30s(and even that's a stretch, considering how accomplished he is). Most likely, it's a continuity error.
I haven't missed an episode of this show, yet I don't remember anything you just said about Leonard's brother. Your so called error, is Irrelevant, to say the least.
Then you need to go rewatch "The Maternal Capacitance". It's episode 15 of season 2 and contains Beverly's debut. All the information is there. Or, if you're too arrogant for that, check the TBBT Wiki. Both have the same info.
And I never said the error was important. Xmarisolx said there was an error, Mnauwo asked what the error was and I told her. Calm down.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Little House on the Prairie, Marmaduke, and Garfield references were so funny!!!
ReplyDeleteHoly crap, Kaley. I bet that scene is gif'd already.
ReplyDeleteSolid episode. I got in some good laughs. Poor Raj and Stuart. And Christine Baranski was a hoot (even if there was a continuity error in her dialog).

ReplyDeleteI don't know, maybe that was the purpose, but she wasn't able to conceive.
ReplyDeleteHow old are you?
ReplyDeleteI noticed that error too.
ReplyDeleteThis show is starting to gather a lot of continuity errors and plot holes.
ReplyDeleteRaiders is ruined!!!! :)

ReplyDeleteWell I'm sure your internet comment had roughly the same 20+ million person audience as TBBT. But really, I was mainly kidding.
ReplyDeleteapparently, but it's been seveval years since season 2, and everybody ages, so...
ReplyDeleteI can't believe they ruined Radiers, and every other one except 4 which was bad before they got to it. Pretty low, guys.

I don't know that you can blame the writing team, since it was something I'd seen mentioned on the Internet at least ten years ago.
