    Saw this episode of BATB last night on Showcase and it is rivetting! If you haven't watched BATB before, this episode is not to be missed! It has lots of special moments but the action is fantastic.

    LOL I know sometimes we beasties get really over the top with our cup of tea, but we cant help it, its in our beastie DNA. And I get when some fans from other fandoms get annoyed at us. But hey, we do what we have to do. And believe me I watch all kind of shows that Im a fan of from The Walking Dead, Sleepy Hollow, Masters of Sex etc. all different genres but Ive never found anybody as sexy as Jay Ryan and not only on screen I met the guy in person and he is just hot. :)

    I get it,really i do.That is how i felt about Fringe (still do) but i never went overboard.Its one thing expressing oneself,but its another when its being crammed down ones throat. When did this thread become the sounding board for the BatB fandom?


    Why doesn't someone in the fandom come up with polls just for BatB fans?Write reviews for the show? The Supernatural fans have their own polls and reviews,same with Fringe when it was still on.These are the places where you can discuss and rave about the show one loves..

    I agree with this. And I've watched more than half of the first season of the show and have nothing against it. But it is off putting to see this much on a general poll like this. There was a time in which I felt the same about Castle and I watch Castle.

    Yeah, and its not just this thread,tomorrow it will be the ratings tread,and scene of the week.It gets tiring seeing the same thing said time and time again.


    Yep,same for me with Castle and to some degree with OUaT with Hook/Swan,but at least its contained in that thread..Its getting to point where i don't even comment or come here as often as i did...

    I know some of us BATB fans have agreed about your argument and tried to tone down the fangirling approach, but as in any fandom there are all kind of fans, but probably its because there is a fear among the fandom the show might get cancel for a third season, and Im not blind or deaf when it comes to the shows I like, and I know BATB is not one of the best shows out there, but its something that keeps me entertained week after week and makes me want to watch tv more and more, I guess my worst fear, is that despite the ratings this season is the fact that the show is actually much more better and quality has improved a lot than last year and has the same ingredients. But hey, I personally will enjoy it while it last, Do I want it to go on? Yes, I do obviously and wish more people watch it this time but if it wasn't your cup of tea at the beginning it will never be.

    OK agree with you and the fangirling approach has to stop at some point but there always be fans like this, although, I don't agree about fans talking about BATB in threads related to the show, we will always come back and comment in any post, poll and thread where BATB gets mentioned, that wont stop because as annoying as this fandom might seem to some, we are very dedicated and work a lot for the show and its not only fans here in the USA the show is very popular around the world, and most of the posters commenting in here about BATB are international beasties.

    I don't expect it to stop,just calm down a bit,maybe say something a little different instead of 'TGIM its BatB with the time and network.People that come here know what channel its on and what time to tune in.IF the fans are trying to get people to tune in they need more than 'its better than S1,its been rewritten',maybe if they told people about the show,what makes it worth there while to watch it,want to tune into it. They need something more than what is here.
    Going by these comments (not yours) listed here today doesn't give me any desire to watch this show.

    Laura, I have no intention of 'shoving anything down your throat. But I think you're a bit hypersensitive. Every time I post a positive comment about #BatB, you & select others spend half your day ranting about how obnoxious it is.
    I fundamentally disagree with you. This weekly poll asks what we are watching tonight. I answer the poll and in the comment field provided I post tweets (& yes, photos) to entice others to join me. You have stated more times than necessary that this doesn't appeal to you. I say; "So be it. Don't watch"
    Honestly, I pay these names no attention. I didn't mean to hit you up 2 weeks in a row. You stated tonight was a slow night on TV for you.. makes PERFECT SENSE to me than any avid fan would consider that an opportunity to invite you to see their show (thus, the standard "#BatB 9/8c on @CW_Network").. it's an invitation. That's what invitations include... the 'when & where'
    You guys spend so much effort spewing negative energy when no offense was even directed towards you. Relax man. This is television, not your children.

    I think the problem is that your enthusiasm is backfiring for your show. If the idea is to get more people to watch the show, you're obviously going at it the wrong way here. People who had no opinion about BatB originally are now actively irritated by it. This isn't a site like TVbtN where people start out hostile, but it's not a BatB Tumblr either. It takes awhile for people here to feel pushed past the edge and BatB is now at that point. Perhaps trying a different tactic is in order, and I would definitely look at who you are responding to before responding. It's kind of like poking people in a sensitive spot when you respond to people who have already felt badgered. Feel free to respond to me with whatever enthusiasm you want. However please try to tone it down a little for people who are already annoyed. It will only do your show good and the cast and crew who work so hard to make this show for you deserve that.
