    Not for me! I didn´t love it as much as last week´s (but that was a hard task since "Number one fan" became one of my all time favs.) but I still enjoyed it and saw more caracther development.

    Watching Beauty & the Beast the story and acting can not be beat. I just can't get enough and have a whole new love for Mondays thanks to this show. If you aren't watching give it a try you will not be disappointed.

    Beauty and the Beast its bloody awesome.They have amped it up so much,well written,brilliant acting,Bigger stunts and action,Humour,Mystery and Romance.If you not seen it give it a go.

    have you even tried to watch any of season 2 just asking or was it last season,Its like a new show this season.Brad Kern is the show runner and just changed it,everyone free to their opinion but a lot of negatives against #BatB come from last season,People need to know its not the same show now,

    Some of those comments deserve the down-votes. I just find it extremely annoying and obnoxious how some people keep throwing the show into my face, e, g, Anita Graves' comments.


    I don't watch the show, I have nothing against it but some of the fans are just pissing me off. If it was really as good as it is, it wouldn't be doing so poorly.

    No, I haven't. And no offense, I really don't plan to. I understand a lot of people love the show and a lot of people hate it. I don't hate it, I just didn't find it interesting or enjoyable. I actually prefer the original series that my mom had me watch as a kid (reruns of course, I wasn't born when the original came out).


    I try not to have negativity or write negative comments on here but sometimes, some fans (me include, throwing myself under the bus) go over the top with their favorite shows.


    Good to know it's not the same show now. Have fun watching it!

    Sorry if you find some fans annoying. All the fans want is for the fan-base to grow. For others to see what we love about it. Being on the CW, it doesn't get a lot of publicity so I guess we try to make up for that. I find a lot of times people have a preconceived idea about the show that is inaccurate (much like I did), wether it's just from bad word of mouth from those who watched the first few eps of S1 or some people automatically dismiss it because its on the CW network. Either way, I think most of us just want people to give it a chance and make up their own minds. It's changed a lot from last season. And although it has the same name, it is much different than the original, I'd say it's more modern and relevant to the times.

    Castle and Beauty and the Beast--which against all expectations has become my new favorite show after I gave it a second chance and caught up with it this summer. It started getting really good a few eps in, and season 2 raised it to a whole new level. (Anyone else interested can catch up on Netflix (s1), cwtv.com (s2) and showcase.ca (s1-2, but probably only works in Canada)

    I"ll be watching the best show, I've seen in a long time, Beauty and the Beast. It has managed to hold my attention. I love the romance story behind the characters, "best chemistry award" goes out to the main protagonists (Kristen Kreuk and Jay Ryan), and bonus, it is Super action packed this year.

    I enjoy the cast. Could others have filled some roles? Sure. BUT the chemistry between Jay and Kristen is irreplaceable. The strong outweigh the weak IMO

    well but Braking Bad is over (and YES it was an AWESOME SHOW. Nothing to say against that) but that doesn't give you the right to be like that to other fandoms. the #BatB Fandom is awesome because it fights for his show. Never saw a fandom like this. Annie just made a suggestion and you where just rough. I never get why so many must be hateful against this show. Not everybody likes it? Fine. Do you need to be bitchy against the fandom? no.

    It has gone beyond "fighting" for their show to starting fights for their show. It in NO WAY makes people who do not currently watch BATB want to tune in for the first time. It's counterproductive.

    I do understand the panic...
    I went through it with Fringe a couple of years ago waiting for a decision on whether or not there would be a fourth season, then a fifth season.


    I recall Wilson Crawford starting his FringeFriday campaign to help promote the series. Each week he posted recaps, highlights, theories, looks ahead and spotify playlists as a means to start conversation between the fans. It was great!


    If some BATB fan dis something on those lines I would think it was great despite the fact I do not watch the show! It would have the added benefit of keeping the BATB spam in one thread instead of filling up posts like this with misdirected energy.

    Exactly! I already spoke to a few people about that. At one point last season in 'Best Scene of the Week' fans of BatB were upset no one included a scene from the show.I told them to start their own polls just for that show,like SPN has,just like we had for Fringe! (god,i still miss that show and Wilson's FringeFriday!)


    Posting how much they love the show,over and over numerous times in one thread by so many is off putting and redundant.Not only is it done in the 'What are you watching',but also in 'Best Scene of the Week',and in the 'Fan submitted polls'.And there again the same thing said over and over..

    Kristin Kreuk and the focus on the romance aspect killed any interest I had in BatB. She drove me from Smallville. I can't even watch Jensen Ackles (my avatar) on Smallville because most of his scenes are with her. Talk about a mary Sue'd character.

    I don't think it is hate towards the show but people frustrated with the fandom. I understand why BatB fans are anxious to extol the show (I've been there too), but it is having the opposite effect right now. SpoilerTV is not a "hating" site but anyone can get cranky when they feel like someone keeps shoving a show in their face. Maybe instead of triple exclamation point/CAPITALIZED gushing and the constant "watch our show" stream that feels like badgering to some commentors, BatB fans could write a more detailed explanation of exactly how the show has changed. Just like that overcaffeinated peppy cheerleader makes some people cringe, too much begging people to try a show can turn people completely off it. BatB needs all the help in the ratings it can get so maybe toning things down a little and being detailed as to why someone should watch would actually make the case better.

    I do not watch BatB and occasionally I am turned off by some of the extreme fans' hyperenthusiasm (although I wish their show the best of luck), by no means is ratings a judge of show quality. There have been many quality shows that have had poor ratings whereas junk like Jersey Shore had huge ratings.

    I think we have all been there, fighting to keep our shows on the air. Still here, it is overwhelming to the point of turning people off. What they need is for someone to write a "Save Our Show" article where they could clearly articulate all the aspects of the show they love while helping people understand what is happening currently so people can jump right in to next week's show.

    I think they need a voice on staff willing to channel their energy into something like this. Wilson was already an established contributor before he started excessively promoting Fringe. The same thing for me with Supernatural polls and contests.

    Yeah, you're right. I snapped there and probably shouldn't have said that last sentence. I was just extremely annoyed. I mean, I kind of get it, they don't want it cancelled. I have my own shows I want to survive, e. g. Hostages but you don't see me going to every article that is tagged with the show and tell everyone how it is the best show ever, how brilliant the writing, the actors, the story and so on is. I just don't see the point in spamming a site like this one with such comments. And chances are, if someone does decide to watch the show after reading the comments, that they're gonna be let down because these fans oversold what the show has to offer.

    Oh, no! I have to disagree. Kristen, maybe, but Jay has got the role down! Especially this more intense, aggressive beast. It really suits him. Although I thought last season he did the tortured soul and the "I'm so in love with you" really well too. I love how, when he delivers his lines, they are not flat and just words. He adds body language, facial expressions, the tone of his voice and my favourite, the eyes! He gives so much to his character with his eyes. They hit the nail on the head when they cast Jay IMO. I could see you thinking that way if you only ever watched the first few eps of the series, but the latter part of S1 (ep 8 and onward) and this new season....no way. And JT is perfect!! :) but we all have our own opinions.

    I think the abundance of enthusiasm this week came from trying to get people who watch Sleepy Hollow to try out BatB while SH is on hiatus. It did not work so either next week it will be bigger or they will try a different tactic. I am okay for the most part with people sharing their love of their show in hopes of getting people to try it on threads where their show is being featured. When it irks me is when people do it on other shows' threads or when article writers do a bait and switch to actually talk about a lesser known show. I think however that most people realize that their intended goal did not work here so hopefully we'll see a different tactic next week.

    Oh, good, I was thinking it was just me...I actually gave it a shot when it started. It was horrible. The worst pilot I ever saw and an insult to the show it claims to be a remake of. I was honestly surprised the crap even got a second season. But well, good for the fans...nevertheless, I wish they would shut up about their stupid show. I didn't like it and I certainly won't suddenly start to like it just because people are holding it under my nose all the time. They can just as well show me a smelly fish.

    I think it is less about liking or not liking the show and more about the BATB fans being VERY vocal about how great THEIR show supposedly is. The constant advertising (most likely in the hope to animate enough watchers so that the show will escape cancellation again) is just annoying at this point. (And no, I don't vote the comments down, but I understand everyone who does).

    It's funny, Lou, it never occurred to me that promoting my show on a night when a perfectly viable program that has already been awarded a 2nd season is airing a rerun.

    Personally, I enjoy a LOT of shows, probably many we would have in common. I "PROMOTE" #BatB because, per my own experience, most people don't even know it's on TV. Although, perfectly appropriate, I think its name has caused many potential viewers to glaze over and disregard it before ever turning it on.

    I didn't say anything derogatory against other shows or untrue about my own. It was simply an invitation and a little braggin on a show that has thoroughly captivated its fanbase. You can say it doesn't appeal to you, but to insult those it draws is just ugly. Mama always said; "If you can't say anything nice, then don't say anything at all."

    I hope the shows that entertain you have a long run and you never feel cheated of seeing their storylines come to full fruition.
