  1. This seems like a decent episode. My only concern is whether or not the show will still be on the air by the time this episode is broadcast.

  2. yeah that's my concern + i can't find any live+7 ratings for this show.

  3. That's because the Live + 7 numbers are only out for the week of 9/30-10/6 and the series premiere of Wonderland wasn't until the 10th.

  4. The actor who portrays Young Jafar also portrayed Young Sayid on Lost!

Oh, I like the sound of this!!

  6. Considering it already has a week off scheduled i think if it drop again this weak it will be canned and pulled immediately

  7. That seems to be a likely scenario. This show's outlook is very grim to say the least.

  8. I don't know why it should be dropping. It started out exciting and only got more exciting with the next episode.

  9. Because sadly the majority of people were not patient enough to see past the basicness of the Pilot, as I think some people have really high expectations for Pilots, especially of a spin off series.

But I think it's a shame, because I think there's a lot here that can evolve and I have found the series very enjoyable so far!

My only hope is that ABC was the one who pushed for this to become a series and air in the fall, rather than a mini series to air in Winter or Summer (which i think would have worked better) that perhaps they will move it before they axe it...

  10. Do you really think the show still has a chance to survive with these low ratings, even for a single season ? If it does not, would the remaining episodes be aired next summer ?

  11. I felt it lacked the darkness that the Villains of OUAT bring, which made it feel a little bit more childish, but I knew that it would get there shortly after, as I think the way they set things up without being over whelming was a good choice. -But I found Trust Me way better than Pilot and I wish more people would have held out.

  12. Remember, the Pilot of OUAT felt quite childish. At least to me. OUAT picked up with the second episode. In contrast, the Pilot of Wonderland didn't feel childish at all. It was already more solid and well-developed than the original show, probably because the creative team now has more experience.

  14. I think the outlook is bleak unless like episode 3 gains a ton of viewers...

I would hope that ABC would have the decency to put it on another night first, since they are the ones who really pushed to have it here now...

As for the next summer idea: I don't know, because they haven't filmed that many episodes. I don't know if they cancel it next week if they would even let them finish up to episode 10??? Perhaps somebody else though has better understanding of ABC's practices than I do...

  15. A lot of shows are skipping that week, which is Halloween week, including Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and The Big Bang Theory, so I wouldn't take it as a harbinger of anything.

  16. It is, IMO, a big misconception to believe the series would have fared any better Sundays at 8 during Winter hiatus a.k.a. Awards Season. Thursdays at 8 is a death-slot for ABC, fair enough, but Sundays in Awards season is even worse. It killed Revenge and OUAT last year ,two shows with established fan-bases and that were in the high 2s/lows 3s during fall. A new show would have no chance at succeeding there and the numbers would be even lower than they are are. If not even the original OUAT could do it, the spinoff certainly wouldn't.

  17. That's why I didn't suggest anything, because I have no idea where to move it to, certainly wasn't thinking Sundays, but maybe Fridays. If it were during the Hiatus I would have picked a weekday at 9:00...

So do think they'll let them finish out the 13 on Thursdays, even if it's canceled???

  18. The thing is that I don't think the season was meant to have 13 episodes, I think it was meant to have 18 episodes. So I think we could be left hanging on the 18th. Right now, I would say that as long as it remains north of 1.0 it will be cancelled but has a decent shot at finishing its order because 1) it's a limited series; 2) it is a spin off of a series currently airing so it could be that they want to avoid badwill directed towards the already struggling mothership and 3) ABC already has one empty slot, Betrayal will certainly be axed before OUAT-Wonderland which means two empty slots and come January/February, in addition to those two slots, they will also have 5 empty slots from the winter hiatus of their serialized dramas. I think it's doubtful they can afford to cut Wonderland soon. But I could be wrong, these things are very hard to predict.

  19. I just hope since they pushed the writers to do this for fall rather than winter/summer and that they changed it from mini series to series that they could have the decency to let them finish... I guess we'll see :)

  20. I think it's association with the established series Once Upon a Time will at least keep ABC from doing the same abrupt thing it did to 666 Park Avenue and Zero Hour.

I didn't find the Pilot to be basic. Introductory, sure, but a lot more exciting to me right away than the Pilot of Once Upon a Time was. I was really impressed by its togetherness. It doesn't make sense to me for this show to have low ratings. Perhaps a better timeslot would help. It's way too premature for ABC to axe it. I foresee it having a full season and perhaps another season/s as well.

  22. Fair point! And when I think back to it, it was similar Pilot. I guess another facet is that with OUAT aired it was a fresh concept and now after having 2+ seasons with a lot of fans not liking most of season 2, along with Wonderland being over promoted with very little footage to be seen left in the Pilot, gave everyone an excuse to ridicule it. I just hope some of them come back before it's too late!
