I still think it's stupid that Regina is also (at least faking to be) Ursula (I'm not buying the twin sister thing...that would be too soapy even for OUaT, so I agree with Bruce_F above).
Well, I guess I have to be thankful that Ursula isn't Rumple in drag.
That's the best explanation IMO. Regina using someone's beliefs to trick them. I'd still prefer to have seen another villain, even if she appeared once or twice. The FTL sure had plenty of villains.
I would have liked to see another villain as well but I'm assuming smaller ratings means a smaller budget for guest stars. Anyway, as soon as I saw that image of Regina as Ursula the other day, I assumed it was just Regina screwing with Ariel via some smoke and mirrors hijinks.
No, the turning point happened back in season 2 episode 3. It's been a clown show since then, with Regina as the solitary exception. I like that she is Ursula because that has been a dream of Lana's for a long time now. And I know her performance will be stellar as usual, despite being on a crappy show.
How are they going to transition into Storybrooke after having so many episodes being in Neverland? I'm already starting to not care about Storybrooke now and the introduction of Ariel. What could she add to the show? I'll wait to comment more until I actually see the episode. But meh, having mixed feelings about this in terms of overall season plot lines.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Seriously, it's kind of stupid just how ridiculously attractive this cast is.
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing this version of Ursula doesn't actually exist and this is just Regina putting on a show to mess with Ariel.
ReplyDeleteIf Regina doesn't sing, I'll be REALLY mad. So chances are I'll be pissed next week.

ReplyDeleteROFL. Now I have Rumple in drag as Ursula stuck in my head.;-)
ReplyDeleteI guess this is the turning point between the show trying to be a Serious Drama and just accepted the Absolutely Ridiculous.
ReplyDeleteIt has to be one of Regina's tricks. She's not even using her normal voice.

ReplyDeleteYes, thanks for this weird picture, Cathy ;-).
ReplyDeleteAnd this was the funny surprise they got for us?… o… k
