  1. Where is the first?

  2. "She had my fiancé killed?" And this is why I have a hard time sympathising with Regina

  3. That is an interesting thing. Did it fail because Regina did not believe? Pixie/Fairies only work when you believe.

  4. I loveee Regina's hair in this sneak peek :)

  5. Well, obviously I'm in minority here, I know, but for once I just wanted to share my personal opinion on Regina after watching this clip.

She's clearly not in a good position here (suicide attempt?), BUT...

Whenever I even start to feel sorry for her all I see are the faces of the innocent people she killed (especially Graham, her own father and an entire village!). Bad things happen to people all the time, really bad things, but no pain can ever be an excuse for doing something so… evil.

I do believe in a chance of redemption for everyone, but so far there has been almost no progress at all. So right now I can't even feel bad for her. Wish it could change in the future.

  6. Gotta agree with you. For me it reaches a point of "how many horrible things can one do before even redemption is impossible?"

Coupled with the fact that Regina has been given many chances to change (2 or 3 times by Snow alone) and gain her redemption, but each time she spits in the face of her savior and goes on to up the evil deeds.

I'm torn because I love her character and want to see it all turn out well for her in the end, but every time I think about it, I doubt more and more if it is possible. But one of the themes of the show is Hope, so here's hoping for Regina's redemtion and a shift in mine and others view of her (minority that we are).

  7. Fair enough, but in here Regina hasn't done any of the bad things you mentioned, not yet. As far as this sneak peek is concerned, Daniel died, she just married the king and lives in the castle. That's all.
Regardless, at the end of the day, I think there's people who will never forgive/understand Regina, but I don't see it as a problem. Not everyone has to like or sympathise with all characters and other people simply have to accept it.

  8. I LOVE Rose McIver's british accent.

  9. I know! Love her accent. Although I think she is from Australia?
anyway, she is such a cutie!

  10. Actually, this is why I have a hard time to sympathise with OUAT writers. I still can't believe THIS was her (Regina) reason. Lazy writing, just freaking lazy!

  11. I feel for her in the sense that her pain is SO deep that this is the only way she knows how to deal with it (how to try an get control), but I agree the writers have kept us in this space too long and I hope Neverland actually brings a redemption arc for her. I'm really hoping we get more into childhoods too, because I think that is where we might find real reasons that these characters have tuned out the way they have and where we might really see innocence lost, even for Regina.

  12. How can you? It's Australian.

  13. Right? I don't feel any sympathy for Snow or Charming but it's not really a problem for me that other people like them.

  14. Those are good points. I do the same whenever I see Snow or Charming talk about being good and doing the right thing. They've either killed or organized the killing of a ton of innocent people because of their own selfish desires. I can't sympathize with them at all.

  15. General question: Are we now cutted down to only 2 sneak peeks instead of 5 per episode?

    ReplyDelete
  16. honestly i'm kinda glad they did. 5 sneak peeks tend to give too much away and in some cases spoil the episode

  17. It's selfish of them to want to live in peace? Not having Regina and King George trying to kill them all the time?

    ReplyDelete
  18. Depends on whether you think killing a lot of people because you want your boyfriend is selfish or not. Snow ambushed a castle and killed innocent people because she needed her true love. Then they took over an entire kingdom because the king was mean to them.

  19. 1. Graham was a hired hitman and Henry, by his own admission, failed to protect his daughter. This doesn't mean they deserved to die. On the contrary, their deaths were horrible and unjustified. So, there is no need to paint them as innocent babes just to try to make Regina look worse.
    2. She did not become evil overnight; it was a slow descent. So, why should she be expected to find redemption overnight?

  20. Go Tink! And...Where is the first??

    ReplyDelete
  21. And Regina wants to kill Snow because Regina's mother killed Regina's fiance.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Huh? It's not an either/or situation. Pulling out a Regina trump card of "but Regina is meaner!" doesn't lessen another character's flaws.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Just curious, what were the chances Snow gave Regina? I can only remember the one she screwed up by pulling a knife.

    ReplyDelete
  24. So Snow was supposed to let Charming die according to you. Yeah that's nice.

    ReplyDelete
  25. How about halting her execution?

    ReplyDelete
  26. This is the first and probably the only 1. They seem to be limiting them this season.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I'm still waiting for a scene in which Snow and Regina (finally) yell at each other like:
"Because of you Daniel died!" - "It was your MOTHER, who killed him!".......
They are not talking about anything after all those years. Even after the resurrection of Daniel, Snow didn't tell David or anybody about this, which I found really strange. Maybe she really feels guilty. It's time to release all this unspoken things. Maybe Neverland will give us some sort of showdown.....

    ReplyDelete
  28. That was her choice to make. Her choice was to prioritize her boyfriend, who wasn't even there, over the lives of innocent people. Charming killed a lot of people and prioritized Snow over the lives of the entirety of George's kingdom.

And maybe it did. But considering they didn't neutralize Regina at all and quite possibly didn't neutralize George either... They were still all choices, a lot of choices Snow and Charming made were ill-informed and based on what they desired emotionally.

Another example is how when the failsafe was about to explode Snow and Charming were going to save themselves and their friends and that's it.

    ReplyDelete
  29. That would involve actually confronting the life-long psychological issues related to parental abuse and I'm not sure the show will do that.

  30. there is two sneak peeks on youtube claiming to be sneak peek 1 and 3 but they are just clips from 3x02. However they got so many view they may have been mistaken as legit
