I actually (and to my own surprise) didn't like the first Captain America movie, but this one looks great and I really hope it is as amazing as the trailer makes it look like. I am liking the fact that we get BlackWidow too.
I'd love a little Coulson cameo (we know he is on the big black plane with the team and all, but just meeting him in a hallway would be a bonus).
WHAT?!? Who are you? This actually looks better than the first one which was a good deal of build up to the Avengers movie. If you've already seen Avengers you could probably skip the first Capt America ... But Ironman 3 is freaking awesome so because I care about you, I really want you to see it.
Captain America in the comics have always been best i modern times, not WW2-setting that Captain America: The First Avenger had. The Winter Solider is inspired by a great story, and it`s more of actionthriller than just action-superhero movie.
Her role is not huge in this film from what I can gather its like introducing the character but I'm sure she will play a bigger part in Cap 3 / maybe turn up in Agents of SHIELD.
I am so excited for this film, it has so much potential and making Natasha and Steve buddies and working together is a great idea. Also Steve questioning SHIELD and authority! SHIELD look like the bad guys in this so interesting how this will impact on the show.
This movie looks awesome which (sigh) unfortunately really punctuates just how inadequate Agents of SHIELD is turning out to be. Its not a bad show and I am enjoying it but its not a GREAT show and it should be. When you put these two products next to each other: there is no question. The tension and suspense should be similar and it isn't. And YES: you can compare the two when they're set in the same story universe utilizing the same character sets. Its not always about production values: TV vs Movies its mostly about the story telling. Agents of SHIELD needs to go darker and grittier and fast.
Trailer looks good I guess but... *smacks forehead... Could someone give 'Falcon' a cheeseburger or an injection. Terrible casting. I know he's an adult but he looks like a skinny teenager. Seeing him try to act tough just makes me laugh.
all this goodness plus Robert Redford? yes please.... I can't wait and I like the tone they've set here.... I do expect that there will be a bit of humor thrown in
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteLooks like Black Widow and Captain America become closer friends. Interesting. And no I'm not shipping it! Not yet!

ReplyDeleteLOL Very true!
ReplyDeleteYou can't have that much SS on the trailer, it gives away too much.
ReplyDeleteCaptain America and Black Widow=deadly combo

ReplyDeleteI'm surprised they didn't reveal the Winter Soldiers identity in the trailer. The closest we got was a blurred out face.
ReplyDeleteProps to Marvel for not revealing it.
The trailer itself looks awesome btw. can't wait for it :D
I wonder if she is the woman from statistics mentioned in the trailer
