Noooooooooooooo. I knew this was coming for Welcome To The Family, but I loved it and was hoping it'd last the thirteen episodes it was picked up for.
ReplyDeleteBut yay for Community coming back soon!
Sorry to Welcome to the Family and its fans... but Community is coming back! That's Chang I can believe in!
ReplyDeleteI'm really sad about Welcome to the Family. Well, if that's the price for getting Community earlier I guess we'll pay it.
ReplyDeleteI though WTTF was really funny but the show just didnt work! Community is back eventho i drop it lasts eason it`s fans must be really happy!
ReplyDeleteNO!! I was really liking Ironside!!! Will they be showing the rest of the completed episodes??!?!
ReplyDeleteWell last season Dan Harmon wasn't involved, which is the main reason for its drop in quality. I'd say at least give the premiere a chance.
ReplyDeleteGuess everyone saw that coming.
ReplyDeleteI called it! This makes how many failed series Blair Underwood has now been in??
ReplyDeleteThursdays on NBC still Dead then.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if Chicago PD can pull a Chicago Fire?
Episode 1:6.81
ReplyDeleteEpisode 2:5.18
Episode 3:4.80
These are the ratings for the three episodes is NBC F*%$@ing drunk or they too stupid to see the ratings
The viewers don't matter, the 18 to 49 ratings do.
ReplyDeleteAlso, even those viewers and nothing to be proud of.
The first three episodes had great ratings for Ironside
ReplyDelete"who the hell has time to watch TV now" well off the top of my head, 16 million people watch The Walking Dead live, 20 million people watch The Big Bang Theory and NCIS live. Is that enough to convince you that people definitely do have the time to watch TV or do you need me to explain further? Might want to reduce your cockiness by a few thousand levels, man.
ReplyDeleteOh I'm not blaming him or his acting.Just everything he has been in bombed, for whatever reason..
ReplyDeletePoint is that Networks never give a show a chance to end it run and then decide whether its worth picking up or not. There are ppl who get pissed when they invest into a show and suddenly gets cancelled and never airs remaining episodes.
ReplyDeleteYes i know 16 million tuned in to watch TWD. 20 million for NICIS i can see but never seen TBBT being 20 million also lol
Those weren't great ratings.
ReplyDeletebummer for WttF, I guess I don't have to catch up on the ep from last night... it was a good show that seemed to be really improving, but I'm glad to see Community with Dan Harmon (yay) and the limited run with Donald Glover (boo) coming back...
ReplyDeleteThe Big Bang Theory has reached 20.00 million one time and surpassed that another. In regular episodes it gets 17-19 million viewers.
ReplyDeleteI don't understand what you mean by "a chance to end it run and then decide whether its worth picking up or not"... But I can give you a long list of shows that had a proper finale, whether the network wanted it to end or not (presumably not because many of them got huge ratings towards their end). The newest example is Breaking Bad.
I liked the Pilot but I didn't bother watching other episode as it was DOA.
ReplyDeletePoint is TV is a business and people who DVR watch can't complain when their shows get canceled. I know that only Neilsen veiwers count but I sometimes wonder if all free TV will cease because most people won't sit for commercials. Not worth those high advertising prices for companies to support them.
ReplyDeleteIn its three episodes, it was beaten by every single Wednesday show except the CW. Last Wednesday, even Arrow beat it. Ironside did 1.3 (premiere), 1.1, and 1,0 in demos. Those are about as bad of numbers as you get on a non-CW show.
ReplyDeleteI liked it too. In fact Welcome to the Family and Trophy Wife both surprised me in how much I liked them. With all the terrible comedies that are getting extra script orders and extra episodes, it's a shame that this one is leaving.
ReplyDeleteYup, the only good thing about this cancellation is that I have one less show to catch up on Friday mornings because of Thursday's crazy schedule (although I'll have that problem again when Community comes back).
ReplyDeleteI really liked Welcome to the Family, so I am sad it's gone.
ReplyDeletethough im not surprised welcome to the family got cancelled it was better than the other comedies I watched
ReplyDeleteMy Thursdays are packed as well, which for me is surprising since I tend to watch less TV than most people here.
