    Argh, I was hoping they'd hear the negative responses from fans for the final season and speed up the wedding in the second half so we could at least have some of the mother.

    I agree. I was so excited when we got to meet her a little bit in the first episodes and then it's been a bunch of nothing. It's not that I don't like the other characters, but I feel like after 8 previous seasons they've almost exhausted everywhere new there is to go. Everyone has been waiting to meet the mother and for them to keep skipping that and rehashing old stuff isn't doing much for me. I'm going to keep watching, but the last few episodes haven't done much for me.

    Definitely! This entire season is pretty much a stall, and the storylines have either been alright or a struggle to watch. The Mother/Lily story and the Ted/Mother flashforward have been, by far, the best parts of the season so far. I love the characters too, but after all this time, I want to get to know the Mother as opposed to just ending on the moment that she and Ted meet.
