I wonder how they're playing in Brody
ReplyDeleteHave no idea. Just hope the show doesnt try to convince the viewers that Saul now trusts Brody, or something equally ludicrous. My new theory for the end of season 3 is the writers are not going to get rid of Brody no matter how much they want to convince people that is an option, they don't have the guts to move on from Brody. I do think they are going to move on from the Carrie/Brody romance and not have the characters together. Not saying the characters wont have some feelings still and hook up occasionally, but I think for the good of the show, the writers are at least going to ditch the romance.
ReplyDeleteI think they might kill off Brody, and we'll have to wait and see if they make Season 4 awful or amazing without him.
ReplyDeleteI actually think the writers should kill off Brody, season 4 without Brody is something I would look forward to. I am just not convinced that the writers are going to do it, which is why I feel that the writers are at least going to get rid of the Carrie/Brody romance, which I think the writers realize can not be the sustaining thing to drive the show.
ReplyDeleteKilling Brody off would mean trashing out the whole Brody family as well, as their only role is to show another side of Brody's life. Without him they are useless, at least for this show, they would be a completely separate story. I doubt that the show would get rid of half of its residents, though I admit, I wouldn't be against it.
ReplyDeleteThe writers can add new characters and new actors. I dont see the problem with changing members of the cast.
ReplyDeleteOf course they can do, I just wanted to point out that killing Brody would mean a near-total reboot of the show. Practically starting a completely new storyline and throwing out three seasons of storytelling about his family. As I said, I'm not against this, IMHO his family's story is more like an independent story, at least now. It depends on what they will do in the rest of the season, but taking how much time they invested into Dana's sideplot, I don't see the intention of getting rid of them.
ReplyDeleteI don't think a major story line for Dana this season has any bearing on season 4. Brody being alive and in season 4 could still mean the end of the Brody family as regulars on the show.
