Grimm - 3.01 - The Ungrateful Dead - Best Scene Poll

Oct 27, 2013

Welcome to the first Grimm best scene poll. Here's how they work:

1. Polls will be posted on Sundays.
2. There will be between 10-12 options. One will always be Other.
3. You only get one vote.
4. Comments make everything more fun. Please share what you voted for and why.
5. Occasionally I will add a bonus poll. If there are polls you would like to see, please let me know in the comments. Happy voting!

Since this is the first episode, we need a bonus poll. Normally I would start with a best quote poll, but this episode was less snarky than most. There were some gems but not enough for a decent amount of options. Therefore, let's talk about the ones you most want to have a character-centric episode this season. It doesn't matter if they are already getting one or not. Also, inspired by a conversation with Bruce, I'd love to get your nominations for the guest character you would most like to see back and the recurring character you would like to have a bigger part. (Don't worry, most posts won't have this much interaction.)

  1. I'm actually going to choose other because the scene where Zombie Nick throws the gun at his reflection keeps sticking with me. Is there a part of Grimm Nick inside the zombie, who understands what e is doing but cannot control himself? That would make for a more interesting post-zombie story for me. Other than that, I liked the action scenes.

As for the characters, I would love to see a Wu-centric episode because he is funny and I can't wait until he comes into the fold. However a Rosalee-centric episode could shed a lot of light on her family and their Council-ties. I would love to see more of the Grimm/Wesen world as a whole and she would fit the bill.

Guest character I most want back is Mama Grimm. She rocked and she brings in a lot of outside information that Nick may need. I was excited when I heard Nick talking about her in the promo. As fro recurring character that needs more time, I am still going with Wu.

  2. A Bud episode would be hilarious xD But since we kind of have them in the web episodes, i'm going to say Rosalee and Monroe :) But there's no option of them together.

  3. I can't wait for the Wu episode and I wonder how he's going to find out about Wesen.

  4. Adalind didn't get her powers back yet. She was only "accepted"

  5. Yeah, i think deep down Nick knows what he is doing, but cant control himself

  6. I think the fact that her eyes turned green means that she does indeed have her powers. I may be wrong but that is what it looked like to me. She seemed far too self-satisfied if she didn't.

  7. I'm loving Bud and I hope he gets more screen time as well.

  8. I'm looking forward to both of those episodes. I know Wu is going to have a harder transition to Wesen knowledge than Hank did, but I hope he does it with his trademark snark.

  9. I don't think she would pick all the dead powers if she had her powers back.

  10. Then that was a complete waste of screentime, instead of mostly a waste of time. Yikes!

  11. The Antidote scene was doubly awesome...for one, we finally got Rosalee and Juliette throwing their knowledge together (more of that!) and I loved how determined Monroe was to rescue Nick. Too bad that he was interrupted before he could call together the Wesen community...I hope they actually will do something like this at one point in the future.

  12. I don't know, I adore Bud, but I think a little bit of him goes a long way. Overexposure might make him annoying.

  13. DG said in an interview that this was exactly what he was going for, that a little part of him is aware and horrified about what happens to him.

  14. I thought it was funny that Monroe could sniff out Nick. As for centrics, I'd love to see Juliette come into her own. Something where we can see some of her background and where we see her dealing effectively with a Wesen.

  15. that's why I said we already have the web-episodes to make me happy and I wanted to vote for a Rosalee-Monroe ep., but a double option wasn't an opion here^^;

  16. That is awesome. I think it makes the ramifications more interesting plus gives him more to work with as an actor.

  17. So which one would you more want a character-centric episode on, Monroe or Rosalee?

  18. I really wanted to see how the Wesen would react myself. I also think that scene was Juliette at her best (well that and kicking zombies off the roof), so I too hope we get more of Juliette and Rosalee working together.

  19. I thought it was funny that Monroe lost the scent and then a 30 degree angle turn and 10 seconds later, he found the scent again. I wonder if Nick is going to continue smelling "off" even after he is no longer a zombie. If he is significantly changed, he might.
