I don't like how they are creating a rift before Cristina and Mer.
ReplyDeleteI think it sets her exit...but its tearing me apart. I frowned something serious the other night.
ReplyDeleteBailey & Ben problems? You leave my Bailey alone.nI swear fo' lawd if this is a set up for Ben to 'leave leave'...you're gonna catch me as a pt viewer.
ReplyDeleteIs Matthew gonna leave? #lesigh -- I love Justin. Well, that might be because I watched a lot of AMC and he went through the same thing with Babe and JR but...dah well. He's nice. For April. But, she never knows what she wants so...I'm still Stephanie and Jackson. *awaits backlash*
But Christina & Mer going through? AGAIN? NOOO NOOO IM NOT READY! MY TEARS ARE REAL!
It's logical. The scenes Thursday were great. Cristina and Meredith are standing in two radically different positions here and it makes sense that they'd clash over something like they did this week. Cristina doesn't want children and therefor left Owen so she could focus on being a surgeon, it makes sense that it'd sting a little for her that Mer has her 'happy ending' and we certainly know Cristina has felt for a while that Mer has been sacrificing her surgical skills because of it.
ReplyDeleteWhat a way to celebrate Sandra Ohs 10 years on the show, by ripping apart her one true long lasting relationship with Mer. Not happy, another reason why I want this show to end, they have nothing left to write about so they are creating drama where there is no need. Not happy with this.
ReplyDeletethat's one way to look at it. Another is to see it as a natural dimension to this relationship. they are going in different directions it's natural that this would cause fall out before understanding. i suspect this would have been a story regardless of Oh leaving.
ReplyDeleteI wonder who betrays who?
ReplyDeletePlease tell me that April will finally END her relationship with Matthew. She isn't in love with him. Her heart obviously belongs to Jackson! :)
ReplyDeleteYea fair point but iv had a best friend for 7 years, when we fight we make up pretty quickly. I see the same for MerChris, after all they have been through ( think about that one) I can't see anything beyond Owen and Mer having an affair ( which would never ever happen anyway) causing a rift between these two so deep she would leave town. And I really don't think they would betray each other, Christina taking the surgery would be as close as it would get. But I'm looking forward to what it could be.
ReplyDeleteI want a happy exit for Cristina damn it!
ReplyDeleteI think that Callie is the one who gets betrayed by these two. It actually fits in the title and it was said before it will happen. Remember that spoiler some time ago?
ReplyDeleteso the way Shonda wants to Christina to leave is by getting her apart from Mer that`s just crazy, Mer and Chris has been together since the beginning and now this, i get the problem about being two diferents peoples now, Mer is a mother and because he doest want to be like her own mom she is getting further and further from medicine, and Chris only wants to more sucessfull! im seing a burke type of exit here, someone will offer to Christina a better job and she will take it D:
ReplyDeleteThis shoe has potential and has many characters to create interesting storylines, What's crazy is that the cast are very talented and they are not taking a advantage of each character. The way they are writing christina off seems lazy a fight really like that doesn't happen enough on GA. I would like to get to know more about aprils character and jacksons as well.
ReplyDeleteEveryone's upset abt the Mer and Cristina fight but I enjoyed it. Finally some fire this season. The fight was only natural IMO. Everyone thinks this will be the reason for Cristina leaving. W/ all of Cristina's talent ppl really think that she would leave b/c she got into a fight w/ Meredith? It's dumb and makes me think the people that make these comments and assumptions don't really understand Yang's character. Meredith and Cristina fall out every couple of seasons and they always recover. Maintaining a friendship is just as hard as maintaining a romantic relationship. Cristina gave Meredith the truth but the way she said it was all wrong. The writer have definitely not been writing up to the actors/actresses full potential and I wonder if that's b/c of all the new writers. I always notice I enjoy the episode more when It's written by someone that has been in the show for years. I really enjoyed the 200th ep but I can't believe Shonda entrusted that task to a new writer. Shonda needs to make more time for Grey's, reexamine it, and give us some of that vintage Grey's magic that we fell in love w/.
ReplyDeleteHonestly, I think y'all are overreacting. We still have most of the season ahead of us, I don't really think Cristina will leave because she gave Meredith some tough love. She is right Meredith has let down. Their friendship has always been about telling them what they need to hear even if it'S not what they wan to hear.
ReplyDeleteIn the 10 years the show has been airing, this is one of the few times where an actor has announced beforehand that they will be leaving and given Shonda's track record of writing/killing characters off the show, I'll probably shouldn't but I do have faith in her that she will be Cristina Yang the deserving exit Shonda herself keeps taling about.
