Kathryn Prescott, who starred as Emily Fitch on the U.K.'s Skins, will star as the title character in the Viacom-owned cable network's drama pilot Finding Carter.
Finding Carteris described as a family coming-of-age drama that centers on a teenager who learns that her mother abducted her as a child. Bones' Emily Silver andTerri Minskypenned the script.
Prescott's Carter Stevens is described as a confident and mischievous girl who has no problem being the center of attention or the life of the party. She and her permissive, single mother Lori have a close, sibling-like relationship. After getting into trouble with friends, Carter is taken to the police station where she learns a life-altering bombshell: that Lori is not her mother but instead the felon who abducted her when she was 3. From there, she begins to learn who her biological family is -- including a twin sister and little brother.
Anna Jacoby-Heron (Contagion, Vegas) will play Carter's fraternal twin sister, Taylor, who connects with her estranged sibling the moment they reunite. The girls share similar physical behaviors and get along well -- at first. Taylor has spent her life confirming to the "good girl" standard and has been raised by overprotective parents after her sister's kidnapping.
Newcomer Zac Pullam will portray Grant, Carter's somewhat detached little brother who was born after his older sister had already been kidnapped. He refers to himself as "the replacement child" and is a precocious old soul used to spending time alone. He bonds quickly with Carter.
Nolan Sotillo (Prom) will play Gabe, Taylor's good friend since second grade and, like his old pal, is the son of a cop. He is oblivious to Taylor's crush and instantly smitten with wild child Carter at a party.
