Alums of NBC’s biggest 1990s comedy series, Shana Goldberg-Meehan and Scott Silveri of Friends and David Mandel of Seinfeld, have teamed for a new multi-camera comedy at CBS. The network has handed a pilot production commitment to the untitled project, directed by veteran multi-camera helmer Andy Ackerman. Written/exec produced by Goldberg-Meehan, Silveri and Mandel, the family comedy centered on a couple with adult children. Warner Bros. TV, which produced Friends, is producing with Goldberg-Meehan and Silveri’s Silver and Gold Prods and Mandel’s Woltz International Pictures.
